0:43 Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John GIFTA. One of the verses that you would have heard a lot of people quote and share, especially if you're going through seasons of where you've got it hangs anxious, and you're carrying a lot of burdens in your life and you're just concerned about things and you're just too heavy in your spirit in your heart, and you're saying, John, you know, I have all these things that I'm worried about, maybe your future, maybe a child, maybe somebody who's not in the ways of the Lord, or maybe you're looking at an impossible situation.

1:23 A sickness, or you know, a situation in your workplace which is not making any sense, or your business is too slow and you don't know how you're going to pay your bills, and whatever it is, you're too worried and you're anxious, and well, you know, there are two scriptures that we often hear people say, and one is found in Psalms fifty five, verse twenty two, and this is what it says, cast your burdens on the lot, or in other translations, it says, cast your cares upon the lot, you know, and he will sustain you, and he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

1:55 Another translation, and sorry, another scripture that people quote is first Speed of five seven, which is just saying pretty much the same thing, and it says, you know, cast your cast upon the Lord, cast your burdens upon the Lord, cast your worries upon the Lord. And you know, both of these are having something in common, and it's saying, cast your cares, cast whatever you're carrying, just cast it on the Lord. And and and when you look at the word cast, okay, it simply means to throw something off forcibly, you're you're not wanting to carry it anymore.

2:28 You're like, you know what I'm not. I'm getting rid of this and just throwing it off, you know what I mean. You know when you think of the image, you know, I was reminded of. You can probably check out my YouTube video where I released a live demonstration of this, where I was, you know, stepping into a room and you know, I'm just taking the backpack and just throwing it the mask and throwing it and us. It's a pretty old video i'd recorded, and you know, I was editing and re releasing it today and I was just reminded of this.

2:58 You know, so many people are things that they don't have to carry, and today you may be carrying something in your life that you don't have to carry, and God is saying, why are you carrying this? You know, just just cast it off, just throw it off, just forcibly remove it from you and just say, you know, what, what do you do? You know you see in the image of a little kid, or especially in movies or practically in many people's lives. You know, the minute they come, they just take the socks and they just throw it.

3:23 I mean, it's not the right thing to do, but I'm just saying, you know, they take the clothes off and just throw it. And you know, that's the kind of an image you need to have. If you are willing to throw off you know, you know, your backpack, your mask or your hat and your cap and your clothing and your bags and all of these things and just throwing it and forcibly removing it and just casting it off. How much more you should cast off things that you don't have to carry in your life, maybe the burdens, maybe your worries, maybe your questions and doubts, your anxieties.

3:54 Today, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that this world will release you. In the name of Jesus, I pray that everybody that you have will melt in the name of Jesus Christ, that you will be in a position to trust god fully and say, God, use it in your word to cast it. And I'm casting it. I'm giving it into your hands. You take control of my life. I'm not running my life. God, you are. And I know that at your appointed time You're going to make all things beautiful, that You're going to work all things together for my good.

4:20 Because I love you and I'm called according to your purpose, and I pray that this word will become a reality. In the name of Jesus, I pray for freedom for those who are struggling today with worry, fear, anxiety, panic attacks, whatever area in your life you need to cast. I pray that this world will be the setting free word for you. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen, God bless you.
