Speaker 1: Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta.
Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta podcast. This is a special edition. As you could see that we're just trying to honor the life and legacy of Charlie. Just the heads up that you know, this is not just talking about you know, the fact that you know this was an amazing man of God who you know, was a light in the darkness who made such a great positive impact and somebody that I, uh, you know, I've admired a lot, especially the way he used his gifts and talented against all oughts to go into, you know, really different and difficult and challenging places and defend the Gospel, defend uh the Word of God, defend righteousness, and speak about social evils, whether it was about the pro life moment and abortion or the transgender issues, and you know so many other issues that are you know, cropped up into this world.
Speaker 2: And this he's someone I've ald defend. I've really admired a lot, and I'm so grateful for his life and you know, to realize that, you know, he's of the same age group as I am. You know, he is a millennial and the way he was able to sway persuade. I'm so grateful for his life and a legacy and this ministry. And at the same time, I just want to let you know, you know, even if you are of a different political spectrum, you know, I want you to put off your political lenses. You know, even there may be disagreements.
Speaker 2: You know, as as Christians, we can all have disagreements. You know, there's if the appostle Paul and Bernabas could have disagreements. But yeah, yet God used both of them. Yet they both were powerful in their own way. So you know, you can have some disagreements. But if you are saying, you know what, I hate him politically, so I'm happy that you know he was assassinated. I'm sorry that doesn't sound like a true Christian. So I want you to have your lens of humanity. Uh, you know, especially when I saw his little children and his wife, and you know, my heart just breaks out, and you know, I really I really could not resist but talk about this.
Speaker 2: So I'm going to just share a personal thing that happened. This happened during the day in the United States of America, but it was during the night here in India. And I got this vision where Charlie Kirk came to me and said, I have fought the good fight of faith. Now you go do the same without fear. He says this to me, and he just retracts himself, and I saw him ascending into heaven and I just take out my phone and I check that he just passed away. This is the vision or the encounter I had. And I was really overwhelmed because all I could think of was all the countless videos I've seen, the way he used to debate and you know, tackle difficult, challenging topics and questions and how people used to put him on the spot and yet he used to, you know, answer in a very match your way.
Speaker 2: And I could just think about all of that, as well as his family, his his his children growing up without your dad, and I was like, God, what is happening? You know, it just stirreded my spirit up you know where. Because some of you follow me closely know this that I recently had an Indie experience when I just saw myself leaving my body and I'm going and the Lord says, your time hasn't come, go back to your body. And I was immediately reminded of how you know, for me, God said, you know, your time hasn't come, go back to your body.
Speaker 2: And somebody on a very similar age range loses his life, you know, for the same faith, and that really put me in a spot where I was like, you know what. You know, a lot of times people tell me, you know, first settle things down in your life, you know, get you know, like with regard to your job, your career, your life, your your life, partner getting married, and you know, get settled. And sometimes especially in a typical Indian scenario, they say, you know, you should do focus on ministry after you retire from your job, you know, first focus on everything and then you come to ministry.
Speaker 2: But you know what I was thinking, somebody you know, on the same date range passed away or was assassinated, you know, preaching the word of God. What is the guarantee that I'm going to live, you know, till after my retirement for me to come into ministry, you know what I mean. You know, this is a word for some of you who are you know, on the sideline saying, you know what, let me fix things up, Let let let things get settled, and then I will focus on the things of God. Then I will do some ministry stuff, or then I will for you know, I'll just you know, be passive with regard to ministry.
Speaker 2: Just go to church at in the camp or just do some you know stuff. But this is a call for some of you to say, you know what, if today is your last day, unplaneter, what is the impact you would have made. When I look at the legacy of Charlie Kirk, I'm like, wow, you know, he has shaken nations. He has made an impact in the culture and the political systems, and he has made such a glass difference you know, in drawing or persuading the you to come towards righteousness and holiness. And I'm like, God, you know what if someone can do it at this young age, you know you and I need to be whether whatever age you are in, whether you're young or old, this is a word for you.
Speaker 2: This is the day that you have. You do not have the guarantee of tomorrow. My challenge is that you will go and fight the good fight of faith, that you will speak for righteousness, that you will go and preach the gospel, whether in season or out of season, that you will say, you know what, if Charlie Kirk fulfilled his purpose for this generation, it is time for me to go and fulfill my purpose for this generation. Of course, everybody, you know you cannot do the same thing that Charlie Kirk did.
Speaker 2: But that's one of the reasons I know I reenterate andallenge based on my book and really a purpose. I encourage you to check that out. I want to tell you that I keep saying that you know, every one of us are called to be the light in the darkness, to preach the gospel in the space or the unique calling that God has given us like doctor Billy Graham fulfill his purpose for his generation, Charlie Kirk fulfill his purpose for his generation. It is time for John Gifta to fulfill his purpose for his generation.
Speaker 2: It is time for you, wherever you're watching or listening from, it is time for you to fulfill your purpose for this generation. Stop putting things off, stop giving excuses, stop saying, oh I can't do this, I don't have this. I want to sit in my comfort zone. This is your day to set up, you know, because if you came face to face with death, now are you ready to meet your creator? Can you hear the words of God saying well done, my good and faithful servant. Or is he going to say, oh I never knew you.
Speaker 2: You wicked?
Speaker 2: Think about this? What is your stand? What are you going to do? You know? The message was very clear. And when he said, you know, you know like I fought my you know, good fight for faith. Now you go do it. This is the word. And it was stirring up in my spirit so much because I was like so disturbed, and I was just speaking in tongues. I was just praying and and and then the word that came to me, I just want to challenge you guys. You know, Charlie Kirk went to be with the Lord and he he had the assurance of salvation.
Speaker 2: So today my challenge, first of all, is if you do not have the assurance of saluation, this is your day to make things right with God. This is your day to accept Jesus as your Lord in person savior, because Jesus is the only way truth in life. There's no other way to the Father except through him. And this is your moment to make Jesus as your Lord and savior and say, Lord, I want to take your things. Seriously, I'm done with playing games. I'm done with me, you know, taking the sidelines. So I'm done with you know, just being a nominal Christian.
Speaker 2: This is your moment to make a change that you will be radical for your faith in Jesus' name. Now listen to this. I'm speaking to you from Philippi and chapter one, all right, verse twelve nts. And I'm reading to you from the Nalty version, and this is what it says. And I want you to know, my dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened to me here helped in spreading the good news I want you to understand that, yes, what happened to Charlie Kirk is really sad, and especially his family, his kids.
Speaker 2: It's really really sad, and it just breaks my heart to see what happened. This was evil in pure sight. But God is a specialist in turning what the enemy meant for harm for good right. He knows how to turn things around and the appostle policying. Even though I'm in a bad spot, even though what is happening to me is unfair, God is using it to help spread the good news. And listen to this verse thirteen. For everyone here, including the whole palace guard, knows that I'm in change because of Christ.
Speaker 2: Everybody knows that if Charlie Kirk was living a nominal life, if he didn't care about his calling, if he lived a normal, mediocre life, he would still be alive. Nobody would be bothered about him. The reason the enemy attacked him was because he was a consequential person. My question to you is I use someone who is willing to stir the boat, who was willing to you know, stir things up and stepping out of your comfort zones to go into the enemy's territory to you know, to make an impact for the Kingdom of God.
Speaker 2: Charlie Kirk did it, would you? And I love the next verse, Guys, this is so important verse fourteen. And because of my imprisonment, not because of my sermons, but because of my imprisonment, most of the believers here have gained confidence to boldly speak God's message without fear. This is the message. Guys, Listen more than the Apostle Paul's sermons, what happened to him made a greater impact, more than I mean, even if you're someone who has not listened to Charlie Kirk's sermons that much, or his debates that much.
Speaker 2: I watched here and there a lot of them. But even if you're not listen to this more than his actual sermon or his actual work, or what he spoke, or what his response was, more than what he actually did, what happened to him, Like what happened to the apostle Paul, led to more people being bold in preaching the gospel. See, the enemy thought he could silence the Apostle Paul by chaining him, but that in turn led to more people actually going and preaching the gospel. If the appostle Paul was free, it would have been only the Apostle Paul going and preaching the gospel.
Speaker 2: But because of his imprisonment, more people went around preaching the gospel. Are you get what I'm saying? So on a similar note, if as long as Charlie Kirk was alive, you know, even I would be like, oh, you know what, he's doing a fantastic job. He's doing a fabulous job. But the fact that you know what he passed away or what happened to him, this should drive more people to say, you know what, I'm gonna step into this. I'm gonna be more firm on my faith. I'm gonna get into the enemy's territory and I'm gonna win souls, and I'm going to be more radical.
Speaker 2: I'm going to defend my faith. I'm going to speak up for righteousness, and I'm gonna do what God has called me to do. Are you getting what I'm saying? More people said yes to sharing God's word without fear because of what happened to the Apostle Paul. Let more people rise, Let the church arise. It's time for the church to rise from slumber. It's time for the church or the Christians who are nominal Christians, It's time for you to say, you know what, enough of sitting in my comfort zone. It's enough of me just living a mediocre life.
Speaker 2: It's time for me to make a difference. It's time for me to break out of my barriers. It's time for me to step into you know, levels that are unthinkable and unchattered territories. It's time for me to step into places that you know what I said, you know what, that's carry I shouldn't do. I should sit in my comfort zone. It's time for you to say, you know what, if Charlie Kirk, you know, was able to get into the enemy's territories and you know, defend the faith, It's time for you and I to get into the enemy steritories to preach the gospel, whether in season or out of season, where things are going finding your life or not finding your life.
Speaker 2: It's time for you to say, I'm gonna step in, and I'm gonna fill in h step into his shoes. I'm gonna, you know, carry this mantle and I'm gonna step in to make a positive impact. I'm gonna build the Kingdom of Gord Now, No, I know, for a fact that everybody cannot do the exact thing that Charlie Coirk did, even if you ask me honestly, i'm debates. It's not my gifts. Okay, I can't do debates. Okay, don't invite me for a debate. Debate is not my gift. Charlie Kirk had that gift. It's not my gift. That's why I challenge, based on my book The unraili a purpose that every one of us have, a unique calling, a unique gift, a unique set of strengths, a unique purpose.
Speaker 2: It's time for us to use that. This is the gift I have, whether it's my podcast, to stop ranking where my voice through my socials. Just yesterday I came to know that my YouTube channel is ranked among the top three person YouTube channels of all. Out of over one fifty million YouTube channels out there, mine is along the top three point five percent. Okay, it may not be huge in the side of you know, the world, like oh, with millions of views and all of that, but I was like wow. You know, when I saw the ranking, I was like, wow, that's a voice.
Speaker 2: I'm able to use my YouTube channel against all arts. I'm able to use the podcast. I'm able to use my you know, the preaching opportunities. I'm able to use unique you know, like the Scooby Last, the aspect of life and all of those things to reach people. It's time for you also to do the same. And that's the challenge, right The best way to honor the legacy of Charlie Kirk is to say, if he fought the good fight of faith, I need to go fight the good fight of faith.
Speaker 1: And I want to.
Speaker 2: Challenge each one of you to do that. This shall be the voice that you know what one voice was taken away by the enemy. Let multiple voices raise in the name of Jesus Lord. I want to pray for this in the name of Jesus Christ. Right now, I want you to stretch your hands wherever you are and just just just just imagine, you know, the family in front of you, and just pray over them, Pray over the kids, you know, pray over his wife. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ for the peace that surpass it all understanding to reign over them.
Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus. I want to pray for you know that you know the children, that their future God, you know what he martyred for your faith. He martyred for for you. And I pray in the name of Jesus because he was a martyr for you. And I believe that you know what he stood up for you, you stand up for his kids, and I know that you will, you will honor them. And and and at the same time, I want to pray for you know, the nation of the United States. I pray for healing over the land in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2: I speak against divisiveness and I speak unity in the name of Jesus, that every force of darkness, every force of evil. Even recently there was a shooting that killed two children in the church in the campus Uh. There was there was there was this uh young twenty three year old Ukrainian refugee who also lost her life in in Uh in the subway or the bus. I forgot that exact detail. And I want to pray in the name of Jesus God, you know what, there will be no more strive. That will be peace in the land in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2: There will be hunity, There will be the peace of God there that will give that protection for people and make a difference in the lives of people, and I pray that the nation that honors you as they step into the two fiftieth year. I pray that you know you will bless this nation in an amazing way. In the name of Jesus, I pray Amen.
