Charlie Kirk’s Legacy: A Prophetic Vision and a Call to Rise | John Giftah Podcast
Tonight's Episode
In this heartfelt episode, John Giftah reflects on the sudden passing of Charlie Kirk — a bold voice who fearlessly defended the faith and stood up for righteousness.Sharing from his own prayer experience and vision, John reminds us of the Apostle Paul’s words in 2 Timothy 4:7: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” This message is a call for the Body of CHRIST to rise up, carry the torch, and continue to defend the faith in our generation. While one voice may be silenced, many more must rise.
🙏 Let this be a moment to honor Charlie Kirk’s legacy while challenging ourselves to live with urgency, courage, and holiness.

Speaker 1: Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta.
Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for
Speaker 2: the Soul with John Gifta podcast. This is a special edition.
Speaker 2: As you could see that we're just trying to honor
Speaker 2: the life and legacy of Charlie. Just the heads up
Speaker 2: that you know, this is not just talking about you know,
Speaker 2: the fact that you know this was an amazing man
Speaker 2: of God who you know, was a light in the
Speaker 2: darkness who made such a great positive impact and somebody
Speaker 2: that I, uh, you know, I've admired a lot, especially
Speaker 2: the way he used his gifts and talented against all
Speaker 2: oughts to go into, you know, really different and difficult
Speaker 2: and challenging places and defend the Gospel, defend uh the
Speaker 2: Word of God, defend righteousness, and speak about social evils,
Speaker 2: whether it was about the pro life moment and abortion
Speaker 2: or the transgender issues, and you know so many other
Speaker 2: issues that are you know, cropped up into this world.
Speaker 2: And this he's someone I've ald defend. I've really admired
Speaker 2: a lot, and I'm so grateful for his life and
Speaker 2: you know, to realize that, you know, he's of the
Speaker 2: same age group as I am. You know, he is
Speaker 2: a millennial and the way he was able to sway persuade.
Speaker 2: I'm so grateful for his life and a legacy and
Speaker 2: this ministry. And at the same time, I just want
Speaker 2: to let you know, you know, even if you are
Speaker 2: of a different political spectrum, you know, I want you
Speaker 2: to put off your political lenses. You know, even there
Speaker 2: may be disagreements. You know, as as Christians, we can
Speaker 2: all have disagreements. You know, there's if the appostle Paul
Speaker 2: and Bernabas could have disagreements. But yeah, yet God used
Speaker 2: both of them. Yet they both were powerful in their
Speaker 2: own way. So you know, you can have some disagreements.
Speaker 2: But if you are saying, you know what, I hate
Speaker 2: him politically, so I'm happy that you know he was assassinated.
Speaker 2: I'm sorry that doesn't sound like a true Christian. So
Speaker 2: I want you to have your lens of humanity. Uh,
Speaker 2: you know, especially when I saw his little children and
Speaker 2: his wife, and you know, my heart just breaks out,
Speaker 2: and you know, I really I really could not resist
Speaker 2: but talk about this. So I'm going to just share
Speaker 2: a personal thing that happened. This happened during the day
Speaker 2: in the United States of America, but it was during
Speaker 2: the night here in India. And I got this vision
Speaker 2: where Charlie Kirk came to me and said, I have
Speaker 2: fought the good fight of faith. Now you go do
Speaker 2: the same without fear. He says this to me, and
Speaker 2: he just retracts himself, and I saw him ascending into
Speaker 2: heaven and I just take out my phone and I
Speaker 2: check that he just passed away. This is the vision
Speaker 2: or the encounter I had. And I was really overwhelmed
Speaker 2: because all I could think of was all the countless
Speaker 2: videos I've seen, the way he used to debate and
Speaker 2: you know, tackle difficult, challenging topics and questions and how
Speaker 2: people used to put him on the spot and yet
Speaker 2: he used to, you know, answer in a very match
Speaker 2: your way. And I could just think about all of that,
Speaker 2: as well as his family, his his his children growing
Speaker 2: up without your dad, and I was like, God, what
Speaker 2: is happening? You know, it just stirreded my spirit up
Speaker 2: you know where. Because some of you follow me closely
Speaker 2: know this that I recently had an Indie experience when
Speaker 2: I just saw myself leaving my body and I'm going
Speaker 2: and the Lord says, your time hasn't come, go back
Speaker 2: to your body. And I was immediately reminded of how
Speaker 2: you know, for me, God said, you know, your time
Speaker 2: hasn't come, go back to your body. And somebody on
Speaker 2: a very similar age range loses his life, you know,
Speaker 2: for the same faith, and that really put me in
Speaker 2: a spot where I was like, you know what. You know,
Speaker 2: a lot of times people tell me, you know, first
Speaker 2: settle things down in your life, you know, get you know,
Speaker 2: like with regard to your job, your career, your life,
Speaker 2: your your life, partner getting married, and you know, get settled.
Speaker 2: And sometimes especially in a typical Indian scenario, they say,
Speaker 2: you know, you should do focus on ministry after you
Speaker 2: retire from your job, you know, first focus on everything
Speaker 2: and then you come to ministry. But you know what
Speaker 2: I was thinking, somebody you know, on the same date
Speaker 2: range passed away or was assassinated, you know, preaching the
Speaker 2: word of God. What is the guarantee that I'm going
Speaker 2: to live, you know, till after my retirement for me
Speaker 2: to come into ministry, you know what I mean. You know,
Speaker 2: this is a word for some of you who are
Speaker 2: you know, on the sideline saying, you know what, let
Speaker 2: me fix things up, Let let let things get settled,
Speaker 2: and then I will focus on the things of God.
Speaker 2: Then I will do some ministry stuff, or then I
Speaker 2: will for you know, I'll just you know, be passive
Speaker 2: with regard to ministry. Just go to church at in
Speaker 2: the camp or just do some you know stuff. But
Speaker 2: this is a call for some of you to say,
Speaker 2: you know what, if today is your last day, unplaneter,
Speaker 2: what is the impact you would have made. When I
Speaker 2: look at the legacy of Charlie Kirk, I'm like, wow,
Speaker 2: you know, he has shaken nations. He has made an
Speaker 2: impact in the culture and the political systems, and he
Speaker 2: has made such a glass difference you know, in drawing
Speaker 2: or persuading the you to come towards righteousness and holiness.
Speaker 2: And I'm like, God, you know what if someone can
Speaker 2: do it at this young age, you know you and
Speaker 2: I need to be whether whatever age you are in,
Speaker 2: whether you're young or old, this is a word for you.
Speaker 2: This is the day that you have. You do not
Speaker 2: have the guarantee of tomorrow. My challenge is that you
Speaker 2: will go and fight the good fight of faith, that
Speaker 2: you will speak for righteousness, that you will go and
Speaker 2: preach the gospel, whether in season or out of season,
Speaker 2: that you will say, you know what, if Charlie Kirk
Speaker 2: fulfilled his purpose for this generation, it is time for
Speaker 2: me to go and fulfill my purpose for this generation.
Speaker 2: Of course, everybody, you know you cannot do the same
Speaker 2: thing that Charlie Kirk did. But that's one of the
Speaker 2: reasons I know I reenterate andallenge based on my book
Speaker 2: and really a purpose. I encourage you to check that out.
Speaker 2: I want to tell you that I keep saying that
Speaker 2: you know, every one of us are called to be
Speaker 2: the light in the darkness, to preach the gospel in
Speaker 2: the space or the unique calling that God has given
Speaker 2: us like doctor Billy Graham fulfill his purpose for his generation,
Speaker 2: Charlie Kirk fulfill his purpose for his generation. It is
Speaker 2: time for John Gifta to fulfill his purpose for his generation.
Speaker 2: It is time for you, wherever you're watching or listening from,
Speaker 2: it is time for you to fulfill your purpose for
Speaker 2: this generation. Stop putting things off, stop giving excuses, stop saying,
Speaker 2: oh I can't do this, I don't have this. I
Speaker 2: want to sit in my comfort zone. This is your
Speaker 2: day to set up, you know, because if you came
Speaker 2: face to face with death, now are you ready to
Speaker 2: meet your creator? Can you hear the words of God
Speaker 2: saying well done, my good and faithful servant. Or is
Speaker 2: he going to say, oh I never knew you. You wicked?
Speaker 2: Think about this? What is your stand? What are you
Speaker 2: going to do? You know? The message was very clear.
Speaker 2: And when he said, you know, you know like I
Speaker 2: fought my you know, good fight for faith. Now you
Speaker 2: go do it. This is the word. And it was
Speaker 2: stirring up in my spirit so much because I was
Speaker 2: like so disturbed, and I was just speaking in tongues.
Speaker 2: I was just praying and and and then the word
Speaker 2: that came to me, I just want to challenge you guys.
Speaker 2: You know, Charlie Kirk went to be with the Lord
Speaker 2: and he he had the assurance of salvation. So today
Speaker 2: my challenge, first of all, is if you do not
Speaker 2: have the assurance of saluation, this is your day to
Speaker 2: make things right with God. This is your day to
Speaker 2: accept Jesus as your Lord in person savior, because Jesus
Speaker 2: is the only way truth in life. There's no other
Speaker 2: way to the Father except through him. And this is
Speaker 2: your moment to make Jesus as your Lord and savior
Speaker 2: and say, Lord, I want to take your things. Seriously,
Speaker 2: I'm done with playing games. I'm done with me, you know,
Speaker 2: taking the sidelines. So I'm done with you know, just
Speaker 2: being a nominal Christian. This is your moment to make
Speaker 2: a change that you will be radical for your faith
Speaker 2: in Jesus' name. Now listen to this. I'm speaking to
Speaker 2: you from Philippi and chapter one, all right, verse twelve nts.
Speaker 2: And I'm reading to you from the Nalty version, and
Speaker 2: this is what it says. And I want you to know,
Speaker 2: my dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened
Speaker 2: to me here helped in spreading the good news I
Speaker 2: want you to understand that, yes, what happened to Charlie
Speaker 2: Kirk is really sad, and especially his family, his kids.
Speaker 2: It's really really sad, and it just breaks my heart
Speaker 2: to see what happened. This was evil in pure sight.
Speaker 2: But God is a specialist in turning what the enemy
Speaker 2: meant for harm for good right. He knows how to
Speaker 2: turn things around and the appostle policying. Even though I'm
Speaker 2: in a bad spot, even though what is happening to
Speaker 2: me is unfair, God is using it to help spread
Speaker 2: the good news. And listen to this verse thirteen. For
Speaker 2: everyone here, including the whole palace guard, knows that I'm
Speaker 2: in change because of Christ. Everybody knows that if Charlie
Speaker 2: Kirk was living a nominal life, if he didn't care
Speaker 2: about his calling, if he lived a normal, mediocre life,
Speaker 2: he would still be alive. Nobody would be bothered about him.
Speaker 2: The reason the enemy attacked him was because he was
Speaker 2: a consequential person. My question to you is I use
Speaker 2: someone who is willing to stir the boat, who was
Speaker 2: willing to you know, stir things up and stepping out
Speaker 2: of your comfort zones to go into the enemy's territory
Speaker 2: to you know, to make an impact for the Kingdom
Speaker 2: of God. Charlie Kirk did it, would you? And I
Speaker 2: love the next verse, Guys, this is so important verse fourteen.
Speaker 2: And because of my imprisonment, not because of my sermons,
Speaker 2: but because of my imprisonment, most of the believers here
Speaker 2: have gained confidence to boldly speak God's message without fear.
Speaker 2: This is the message. Guys, Listen more than the Apostle
Speaker 2: Paul's sermons, what happened to him made a greater impact,
Speaker 2: more than I mean, even if you're someone who has
Speaker 2: not listened to Charlie Kirk's sermons that much, or his
Speaker 2: debates that much. I watched here and there a lot
Speaker 2: of them. But even if you're not listen to this
Speaker 2: more than his actual sermon or his actual work, or
Speaker 2: what he spoke, or what his response was, more than
Speaker 2: what he actually did, what happened to him, Like what
Speaker 2: happened to the apostle Paul, led to more people being
Speaker 2: bold in preaching the gospel. See, the enemy thought he
Speaker 2: could silence the Apostle Paul by chaining him, but that
Speaker 2: in turn led to more people actually going and preaching
Speaker 2: the gospel. If the appostle Paul was free, it would
Speaker 2: have been only the Apostle Paul going and preaching the gospel.
Speaker 2: But because of his imprisonment, more people went around preaching
Speaker 2: the gospel. Are you get what I'm saying? So on
Speaker 2: a similar note, if as long as Charlie Kirk was alive,
Speaker 2: you know, even I would be like, oh, you know what,
Speaker 2: he's doing a fantastic job. He's doing a fabulous job.
Speaker 2: But the fact that you know what he passed away
Speaker 2: or what happened to him, this should drive more people
Speaker 2: to say, you know what, I'm gonna step into this.
Speaker 2: I'm gonna be more firm on my faith. I'm gonna
Speaker 2: get into the enemy's territory and I'm gonna win souls,
Speaker 2: and I'm going to be more radical. I'm going to
Speaker 2: defend my faith. I'm going to speak up for righteousness,
Speaker 2: and I'm gonna do what God has called me to do.
Speaker 2: Are you getting what I'm saying? More people said yes
Speaker 2: to sharing God's word without fear because of what happened
Speaker 2: to the Apostle Paul. Let more people rise, Let the
Speaker 2: church arise. It's time for the church to rise from slumber.
Speaker 2: It's time for the church or the Christians who are
Speaker 2: nominal Christians, It's time for you to say, you know what,
Speaker 2: enough of sitting in my comfort zone. It's enough of
Speaker 2: me just living a mediocre life. It's time for me
Speaker 2: to make a difference. It's time for me to break
Speaker 2: out of my barriers. It's time for me to step
Speaker 2: into you know, levels that are unthinkable and unchattered territories.
Speaker 2: It's time for me to step into places that you
Speaker 2: know what I said, you know what, that's carry I
Speaker 2: shouldn't do. I should sit in my comfort zone. It's
Speaker 2: time for you to say, you know what, if Charlie Kirk,
Speaker 2: you know, was able to get into the enemy's territories
Speaker 2: and you know, defend the faith, It's time for you
Speaker 2: and I to get into the enemy steritories to preach
Speaker 2: the gospel, whether in season or out of season, where
Speaker 2: things are going finding your life or not finding your life.
Speaker 2: It's time for you to say, I'm gonna step in,
Speaker 2: and I'm gonna fill in h step into his shoes.
Speaker 2: I'm gonna, you know, carry this mantle and I'm gonna
Speaker 2: step in to make a positive impact. I'm gonna build
Speaker 2: the Kingdom of Gord Now, No, I know, for a
Speaker 2: fact that everybody cannot do the exact thing that Charlie
Speaker 2: Coirk did, even if you ask me honestly, i'm debates.
Speaker 2: It's not my gifts. Okay, I can't do debates. Okay,
Speaker 2: don't invite me for a debate. Debate is not my gift.
Speaker 2: Charlie Kirk had that gift. It's not my gift. That's
Speaker 2: why I challenge, based on my book The unraili a
Speaker 2: purpose that every one of us have, a unique calling,
Speaker 2: a unique gift, a unique set of strengths, a unique purpose.
Speaker 2: It's time for us to use that. This is the
Speaker 2: gift I have, whether it's my podcast, to stop ranking
Speaker 2: where my voice through my socials. Just yesterday I came
Speaker 2: to know that my YouTube channel is ranked among the
Speaker 2: top three person YouTube channels of all. Out of over
Speaker 2: one fifty million YouTube channels out there, mine is along
Speaker 2: the top three point five percent. Okay, it may not
Speaker 2: be huge in the side of you know, the world,
Speaker 2: like oh, with millions of views and all of that,
Speaker 2: but I was like wow. You know, when I saw
Speaker 2: the ranking, I was like, wow, that's a voice. I'm
Speaker 2: able to use my YouTube channel against all arts. I'm
Speaker 2: able to use the podcast. I'm able to use my
Speaker 2: you know, the preaching opportunities. I'm able to use unique
Speaker 2: you know, like the Scooby Last, the aspect of life
Speaker 2: and all of those things to reach people. It's time
Speaker 2: for you also to do the same. And that's the challenge,
Speaker 2: right The best way to honor the legacy of Charlie
Speaker 2: Kirk is to say, if he fought the good fight
Speaker 2: of faith, I need to go fight the good fight
Speaker 2: of faith.
Speaker 1: And I want to.
Speaker 2: Challenge each one of you to do that. This shall
Speaker 2: be the voice that you know what one voice was
Speaker 2: taken away by the enemy. Let multiple voices raise in
Speaker 2: the name of Jesus Lord. I want to pray for
Speaker 2: this in the name of Jesus Christ. Right now, I
Speaker 2: want you to stretch your hands wherever you are and
Speaker 2: just just just just imagine, you know, the family in
Speaker 2: front of you, and just pray over them, Pray over
Speaker 2: the kids, you know, pray over his wife. I pray
Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus Christ for the peace that
Speaker 2: surpass it all understanding to reign over them. In the
Speaker 2: name of Jesus. I want to pray for you know
Speaker 2: that you know the children, that their future God, you
Speaker 2: know what he martyred for your faith. He martyred for
Speaker 2: for you. And I pray in the name of Jesus
Speaker 2: because he was a martyr for you. And I believe
Speaker 2: that you know what he stood up for you, you stand
Speaker 2: up for his kids, and I know that you will,
Speaker 2: you will honor them. And and and at the same time,
Speaker 2: I want to pray for you know, the nation of
Speaker 2: the United States. I pray for healing over the land
Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus. I speak against divisiveness and
Speaker 2: I speak unity in the name of Jesus, that every
Speaker 2: force of darkness, every force of evil. Even recently there
Speaker 2: was a shooting that killed two children in the church
Speaker 2: in the campus Uh. There was there was there was
Speaker 2: this uh young twenty three year old Ukrainian refugee who
Speaker 2: also lost her life in in Uh in the subway
Speaker 2: or the bus. I forgot that exact detail. And I
Speaker 2: want to pray in the name of Jesus God, you
Speaker 2: know what, there will be no more strive. That will
Speaker 2: be peace in the land in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2: There will be hunity, There will be the peace of
Speaker 2: God there that will give that protection for people and
Speaker 2: make a difference in the lives of people, and I
Speaker 2: pray that the nation that honors you as they step
Speaker 2: into the two fiftieth year. I pray that you know
Speaker 2: you will bless this nation in an amazing way. In
Speaker 2: the name of Jesus, I pray Amen.
