1:07 Speaker 2: I want to just conclude this. When Jesus was replying

1:10 Speaker 2: to this man, this is something that you might know

1:12 Speaker 2: it's just a generic thing this, But then I just

1:15 Speaker 2: wanted to put it out there to remind you and

1:17 Speaker 2: make sure that we're all in the same page. Tootcard

1:19 Speaker 2: to this. And when this man says, Jesus, remember me

1:24 Speaker 2: when you come into your kingdom. I shared with you

1:26 Speaker 2: in one of the recent segments, how that expression, that

1:30 Speaker 2: language he used shows that he looked at Jesus as king,

1:34 Speaker 2: and he looked at him as one who had a

1:36 Speaker 2: kingdom right. He didn't look at him for what he

1:38 Speaker 2: saw on the outside, the one who was beaten, the

1:42 Speaker 2: one who was nailed, the one who seemed helpless. He

1:45 Speaker 2: didn't look at how he saw things from the outside.

1:47 Speaker 2: But he looked at him as king, and he said,

1:50 Speaker 2: remember me when you come into your kingdom. And Jesus

1:53 Speaker 2: responds to that man, and he says, today you will

1:58 Speaker 2: be with me in paradise. Today he will be with

2:01 Speaker 2: me in paradise. There's so much to unpact, so much

2:04 Speaker 2: to learn in this when Jesus was saying this to him.

2:07 Speaker 2: But this is an assurance for each one of us

2:10 Speaker 2: that this man did not have to wait for some day.

2:14 Speaker 2: In the sweet buy and back, he said, today you

2:16 Speaker 2: will be with me in paradise today you will be today.

2:21 Speaker 2: Like he knows he's going to die today. He was

2:23 Speaker 2: telling him, listen, man, you're going to die today and

2:26 Speaker 2: you're going to be with me. I'm also going to

2:29 Speaker 2: you know, die and we're going to see each other.

2:32 Speaker 2: We're going to be together in paradise. I'm going to

2:35 Speaker 2: be with you. You're going to be with me. You see.

2:38 Speaker 2: That's the essence that when we give our life to Christ,

2:43 Speaker 2: the situation around us may not change. Like for example,

2:47 Speaker 2: when he said it, he was still on the cross.

2:49 Speaker 2: His physical situation did not change. The pain probably increase more.

2:55 Speaker 2: He was in deeper like anguish and you know, can't

2:57 Speaker 2: wait to die kind of fulfil the It would have

3:01 Speaker 2: felt very torturous. But Jesus cave this word saying today

3:05 Speaker 2: you will be, which meants which meant that here's the thing.

3:09 Speaker 2: Your situation around may not change, but the word has

3:13 Speaker 2: transformed you, or the promise is what sustains you, or

3:18 Speaker 2: the fact that you have repented has set you this

3:23 Speaker 2: assurance that today, any minute, when you pass from planet

3:27 Speaker 2: to Earth, you're not going to be forgotten. You're going

3:31 Speaker 2: to be with me in paradise. This is a lesson

3:36 Speaker 2: to us or a reminder to all of us that,

3:39 Speaker 2: you know what, no matter how the situation is, we

3:42 Speaker 2: have that assurance that when we connect with Jesus, things change.

3:47 Speaker 2: Today you may be saying, oh, I'm a Christian. My

3:50 Speaker 2: question is do you personally have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

3:55 Speaker 2: Do you have that actual assurance and conviction from the

3:59 Speaker 2: top of your to the source of your feet, with

4:01 Speaker 2: all your heart, with all your mind, with all your soul.

4:03 Speaker 2: Do you have that assurance that if you pass from

4:07 Speaker 2: planetre today, if you stop breathing, your heart stops beating,

4:15 Speaker 2: or the roof over your head comes down, do you

4:18 Speaker 2: have the assurance that you will be with Jesus or

4:22 Speaker 2: do you have fear? Do you have doubt? Do you

4:24 Speaker 2: have anxiety? Do you have anything that's giving you a

4:28 Speaker 2: feeling like maybe what if I don't make it to Heaven?

4:32 Speaker 2: What if I don't be with Jesus? What if I

4:35 Speaker 2: land in hell today? Let me tell you something. This man,

4:39 Speaker 2: you know, if Jesus said you know you have to

4:42 Speaker 2: do some good deeds by then you know, then only

4:44 Speaker 2: you can come. This man is stuck. He can't do

4:46 Speaker 2: anything right. See, I'm not saying is this a place

4:49 Speaker 2: for good deeds? You can't say, you know what I'm saying,

4:51 Speaker 2: And I can do whatever bad I want. I can

4:52 Speaker 2: live in a sinful life. That's a different thing. I'm

4:55 Speaker 2: not saying that. But what I'm saying is this man

4:56 Speaker 2: had nothing to prove, he had nothing. Only he could

4:59 Speaker 2: do at that moment was believe and confess. Believe and confess.

5:03 Speaker 2: That's why the Bible says in the Book of Romans,

5:05 Speaker 2: believe in your mouth. So believe in your heart and

5:08 Speaker 2: confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and you

5:10 Speaker 2: will be saved. This is all that happened. Nothing changed

5:13 Speaker 2: in the physical, nothing changed, you know, emotionally or even

5:17 Speaker 2: mentally for that matter, probably, But one thing is true.

5:21 Speaker 2: That is assurance that when he passes, he's not going

5:30 Speaker 2: to be lost. He's going to be with Jesus. He's

5:33 Speaker 2: going to be with Jesus. And there's a reason why

5:36 Speaker 2: I'm not mentioning or specifying the aspect when he said

5:40 Speaker 2: he will be with me in paradise. I don't want

5:41 Speaker 2: to us to word paradise right now, because now that

5:44 Speaker 2: Jesus died and the veil is already removed, now when

5:48 Speaker 2: when we parts, we actually go to be with Jesus,

5:54 Speaker 2: who is seated at the right hand of the Father. Right,

5:57 Speaker 2: So we don't have the aspect of paradise, right, Paradise

6:00 Speaker 2: existed before Jesus finished the work on the cross. Right,

6:05 Speaker 2: So all of this, Abraham and all of them, initially

6:08 Speaker 2: they were in paradise, you know though. But the through

6:11 Speaker 2: is the when Jesus died, those who had died in

6:15 Speaker 2: Christ they also got up. Okay, there's there's a deep

6:19 Speaker 2: teaching to it. I'd probably teach that another time. But

6:22 Speaker 2: but then that's the thing. So let's not get complicated

6:25 Speaker 2: with the theology of you know, the paradise or heaven

6:28 Speaker 2: at this point. But the message for us is that assurance.

6:31 Speaker 2: Today you die, the next breath you breathe will be

6:36 Speaker 2: with Jesus. That's what the Possible said, Like you here,

6:41 Speaker 2: you breathe your last the next breath that you want

6:44 Speaker 2: to take is going to be in the presence of

6:46 Speaker 2: the Lord. Do you have that assurance? And I pray

6:51 Speaker 2: that today If you don't have that assurance, lit today

6:54 Speaker 2: be that reminder for you. This good Friday will be

6:58 Speaker 2: a real good Friday for you where you will say,

7:00 Speaker 2: Jesus helped me have that assurance. I believe in what

7:03 Speaker 2: you did on the cross for me. You died for

7:05 Speaker 2: my sins so that I will experience the gift of

7:08 Speaker 2: eternal life. Not someday, not in the sweet by and by,

7:13 Speaker 2: but today I'm on that assurance that any minute I pass,

7:18 Speaker 2: any minute I die, I will be with you in paradise.

7:23 Speaker 2: I will be with you forever. I will be with

7:26 Speaker 2: you through all eternity. And I just want to, you know,

7:31 Speaker 2: close with this quick example from my life. Even though

7:36 Speaker 2: I've been a minister of the Gospel and a believer

7:41 Speaker 2: for ever since I was young, there was this moment

7:44 Speaker 2: where I used to get these anxiety attacks or panic

7:47 Speaker 2: attacks in the middle of the night, this fear of

7:51 Speaker 2: like if I die, will I really go to Heaven?

7:52 Speaker 2: Or am I going to go to Hell. I'll tell

7:55 Speaker 2: you also this that I have had encounters where I

7:57 Speaker 2: have seen Hell, so I know how bad Hell is like,

8:01 Speaker 2: not to their extent like where some have seen, but

8:04 Speaker 2: I've seen glimpses and they were horrible in itself. People

8:08 Speaker 2: who have experienced Hell in a different dimension. It's totally scary,

8:12 Speaker 2: It's totally it's not a place for us. It's definitely

8:16 Speaker 2: not a place for us. But and it's also not

8:18 Speaker 2: the gospel to scare people saying you don't want to

8:21 Speaker 2: go to help come to Jesus. I don't want that

8:23 Speaker 2: as well. But the truth is Hell is I do

8:25 Speaker 2: scary and being a minister, it was very hypocritical. You're

8:30 Speaker 2: preaching salvation, but you are getting these you know, anxiety

8:35 Speaker 2: or panic attacks in the middle of the night with

8:37 Speaker 2: a cold sweat and you know, like a fear that

8:41 Speaker 2: groups me like, you know, if I die, now, where

8:43 Speaker 2: am I going? And that is the moment when I

8:47 Speaker 2: encountered these you know, this message by this interview of

8:55 Speaker 2: pastor John Burke, who's run owned in the area of

8:59 Speaker 2: near that text experiences and he was on the Sean

9:03 Speaker 2: Ryan Show where he shared about things and listening to that,

9:08 Speaker 2: you know, helped me get that assurance of how people

9:11 Speaker 2: of different faiths and backgrounds when they died, the other

9:15 Speaker 2: experiences when people actually clinically die see him and on

9:19 Speaker 2: hell and then they come back to life. And I'm

9:22 Speaker 2: telling honestly that you know, entire thing helped me so

9:29 Speaker 2: much that all those panic attacks stopped and I was

9:33 Speaker 2: more convinced ever that Jesus is the way, the truth

9:39 Speaker 2: and life because people of different faiths and backgrounds, everyone

9:42 Speaker 2: encountering the God of the Bible. And here's the thing.

9:48 Speaker 2: You might know this, but I've also got the chance

10:03 Speaker 2: even if you feel or you're dealing with something similar

10:06 Speaker 2: to what I'm shared, I just want to challenge you

10:10 Speaker 2: maybe check this out because it really helped me, because

10:12 Speaker 2: apologetics did not help me, but this helped me to

10:16 Speaker 2: be more rooted in knowing and having that conviction that

10:20 Speaker 2: Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and only life.

10:24 Speaker 2: And maybe that will help you to really walk with

10:27 Speaker 2: that assurance of salvation. And last year I even had

10:31 Speaker 2: an experience which I can't clinically prove, but I believe

10:34 Speaker 2: I had like an indie myself where I saw my

10:37 Speaker 2: body down and when I was very sick, saw my

10:40 Speaker 2: body down I'm going up, very similar to how people

10:43 Speaker 2: experience when they experience indies. Near the experiences, and I

10:47 Speaker 2: heard an audible voice from Jesus saying, go back to

10:49 Speaker 2: your body. And I got back and I came. I

10:52 Speaker 2: can't prove this to you. If you believe it, believe it.

10:54 Speaker 2: If you don't, it's fine, But I want to share

10:57 Speaker 2: these to let you know that Jesus, this Israel. The

11:01 Speaker 2: message to the Gospel Israel. So I challenged that you

11:04 Speaker 2: will have that assurance of eternal life. Amen. God bless you.
