0:54 It's wonderful for me to be back on this episode of the Fuel for

0:58 the Soul with John gift podcast. I'm going to talk to you today about

1:00 something I believe is so important for us to address us believers because a lot

1:04 of people think that they can speak whatever they want to and for the most

1:08 part, you see, everything that you feed in is negative, whether it's

1:11 the media, whether the political situation, or whether you look at all the

1:15 advertisements and in general, if you see, you know a lot of people

1:19 want to look at something negative, and something negative always attracts, and it's

1:23 something that people want to constantly feed on over and over again, whether it's

1:27 come some kind of like a grudge or bitterness, or it's some kind of

1:32 a crime or you know, you know, anything that is negative, you

1:36 know, is what drives people. You know, that's the way the enemy

1:38 has been now, you know, causing a lot of people to feed on

1:42 the negative, feed the negative. And because what you feed is negative,

1:47 it's many times, for the most part, what we see coming out of

1:51 our mouths, what we speak, is always negative. We're talking about the

1:56 impossibilities of the situation. We're talking about all the reasons why things can go

1:59 wrong. We're talking about, you know, how the situation is so bad,

2:01 the economy is so bad, the condition politically is so bad. We're

2:06 constantly looking at what we see and we're constantly speaking the negative. But I

2:09 want you to remember that the Bible is very clear in saying that life and

2:14 death and on the part of the tongue, you need to understand that your

2:17 life goes in the direction of your words. If you're constantly speaking negative,

2:22 you will only see more and more negativity coming into your life. And if

2:24 you're constantly feeding on more of negativity. That's exactly what you're going to experience

2:30 becoming a reality in and through your life. But today I want to challenge

2:34 each one of you under the sound of my voice, that if you want

2:37 to see a change in what you see on the outside in your life,

2:39 you need to see a change in what you speak. You need to see

2:43 a change in what you say. Only then you will see a change in

2:46 what you see. One of the examples I want to talk to you today

2:51 is from Luke Chapter one. One of the examples where you see Zachariah is

2:58 having an encounter with an angel who comes and says, listen, you can

3:05 bear a son. And Zacharia is way too old. And this is what

3:09 I wanted to understand. When Zachariah hears this, he says, how can

3:15 I be sure that this will happen? I'm an old man now, and

3:17 my wife is also well along in yours. This is verse eighteen, okay,

3:22 and I'm reading to you from the unalty version. He's saying, how

3:24 is this even going to be possible? How can I be sure this is

3:27 going to be possible? Because I'm old and technically this is not going to

3:30 happen biologically. This is not going to happen in reality. This is a

3:34 mission impossible. How do you expect me to believe this and listen to this?

3:39 What he says makes sense logically. But the angel said in verse nineteen,

3:45 I am Gabriel. I stand in the very presence of God. It

3:47 was he who sent me to bring you this good news. Look at verse

3:51 twenty. Very powerful. But now, since you did not believe what I

3:54 said, you will be silent and unable to speak until the child is born.

4:00 You have to understand something very important here, guys. You know what,

4:02 Sometimes you had to look at this passage and understand, like, you

4:06 know what, this man did not believe in the word it was given to

4:11 him, a divine encounter with God himself was sending out an angel and saying,

4:15 you know what, you're gonna barras child? You know, And because

4:18 he did not believe, you know, the angel had to shut the mouth

4:23 from speaking negative. Sometimes you have to understand that. You know, some

4:30 people are constantly speaking negatively, and they wonder why their life is never changing

4:34 for the better. It's because your words determine the reaction of your life.

4:40 And sometimes you and I need to get to moments when it's best at the

4:43 Angel or it's best that the Lord shuts them out from speaking negatively. Because

4:47 here's a classic moment when the Angel and the Lord did not want you know,

4:53 a Zachariah messing up what God was planning to do and through his life

4:58 because of his words, because of his unbelief, and so he had to

5:01 shut his mouth saying, you know what, you cannot speak negative because you

5:05 have to understand that, you know what, there is power in the words

5:09 that you speak. And today I pray that this is going to be a

5:13 wake up call for you that you will not mess up what God wants to

5:16 do in and through your life. That you will not mess up what God

5:19 wants to you know, accomplish through your family. You will not mess up

5:25 what a God wants to accomplish through your life, ministry and purpose because of

5:30 your words that I pray in the name of Jesus. The same way the

5:38 Angel of the Lord is saying, you know what, that Zachariah's mouth will

5:42 be shut from speaking negatively. He was shut till the moment the baby was

5:46 born. Sometimes you know, God has to shut our mouth, you know,

5:53 in such a way that we won't speak anything negative. And I pray

5:57 that today if you have any area in your life where you're constantly being negative,

6:03 you're constantly speaking out the reality of what you see instead of speaking out

6:09 the truth of God's word. Let this be a wake up call for you.

6:13 Let this be the moment when you say you know what enough is enough.

6:15 I'm going to choose to trust the Lord. I'm going to choose to

6:18 depend on him. I'm going to choose to look up to him. I

6:21 believe that my God is still working in my life. I believe that God

6:25 is going to do something awesome. And if I'm not able to say something

6:29 in a lines with what God is saying, let me just keep him out
