Facing LIONS in Life | Powerful Christian Sermon | John Giftah

Hi, you up against some lions in your life, some obstacles, some

challenges, some problems, and you're like, oh my gosh, this is

really really scary. This is going to devolve on me. I'm not going

to make it. I don't know how I'm going to handle this. Yes,

without a doubt. As a believer, we're not going to be in

a place where we're not going to face any challenges. Jesus said in this

world you will have troubles. It's very clear. Matthew Fortify says, the

rain comes on the jest and the unjust, and like we're all going to

face the rainy, stormy, negative seasons of life. We're all going to

face obstacles, We're all going to face challenges and lions. But in your

life, if you're facing lions, how are you going to deal with it?

How are you going to overcome this? And that's what I want to

talk to you from the Word of God, because I believe this is such

a powerful word that the Lord just put in my spirit the other day where

the Lord was showing me a comparison. When we think about lion and the

Bible, what comes to your mind. For the most part, we immediately

think of how there were two warriors who were able to defeat lions. One

is David. He had the skill you were so good with his sling shot.

He was able to defeat the lion. When you think about Samson,

he had supernatural strength from God. He was able to defeat lions. Wow,

look at David, Wow, look at Samson. But there was another

person who also faced lions, and that was Daniel. But when you look

at Daniel, his story was totally different. He was not as skilled as

David was to deal with a lion. He was not prepared to deal with

a lion, or he was not having the supernatural strength like Samson did.

Daniel was a person who was just a normal person like you and me.

He didn't have what it takes. What I wanted to understand is today you

may say, John, somebody else is more gifted. They're more talented,

they have the influence, they have the finance, they have what it takes

to defeat this problem, to overcome this obstacle, to break this chain,

to make a different to deal with this mountain. But John, I'm just

the Daniel. I don't have what it takes. I don't have the supernatural

strength. I don't have the influence. I don't have the finance, I

don't have the provision. I don't have the right people. Well, if

that's the case, you're still on the right ground. Daniel was a place

in a place like that. He was facing lions when he was thrown into

the lions den, but he didn't have the skill, he didn't have this

strength. But in this case, God fought for him. What I want

you to understand is God will either give you what you need to fight your

lions, or he will fight the lions for you. In case of Samson

and David, God gave them what they needed to fight the lions. Either

David had the skill or Samson had the supernatural strength, or you may be

in a place like Daniel, you don't have either of that. Well,

in that case, God is good to fight the lions for you. So

don't be discouraged, don't lose hope. Just be encouraged today that either God

has given you what you need, but if He has not given you what

you need, He's going to do what only he can do. He's going

to show up in a supernatural way. He's going to do something that's going

to exceed your expectations. But sometimes when you face the lion, when you

think about Daniel, when he actually faced the lion, it was not the

moment for you to preach to him and say, hey, maybe you should

have taken some lion training classes, maybe you should have worked on some skills

like being good at you know, a sling shot, or maybe you should

have worked on your bodybuilding skills, or you know, that's not the time

to preach a message to Daniel like that. He didn't expect that he was

ever going to face a lion. What I want you to understand is sometimes

when you face challenges, people will come and preach to you. They will

say, maybe you should have taken this step, Maybe you should have done

that, Maybe you shouldn't have said this, Maybe you should you have done

this five years ago. People will come and preach servants to you, But

don't listen to that. Listen. God knows what he's doing with their life.

If God wanted you to be prepared, he would have led you to

be prepared. He would have directed your steps, you would have told you

what needs to be done ahead of time. But if God has led you

to a place that you're not prepared for, then get ready. God is

going to do something that you never hearn Imagine God do it. You're going

to see God shut the amounts of the lions. You're going to see God

fight the battle for you. You're going to see God do something that other

people are going to say, Oh my goodness, how did this even happen?

This is nothing but the hand of God. That's what I want you

to know today that either God is going to give you what you need,

or He's going to speak to you to empower you with what you need to

deal with. An obstacle to deal with that lion in your life, or

he's going to supernaturally take care of it. Or even when you think about

Noah, when he had to take care of all their animals, that would

also include an alliance, right, he had a pair of alliance, and

which means that you need to understand. In this case, God makes sure

that the lions listened to Noah. See you see, in every case God

did it in a different way. In case of Samson, he gave him

the supernatural stright. In case of David, he gave him the skill that

he worked on. In case of Noah, he makes sure that none of

the animals that Noah was taking care of decided to have Noah for their meal,

you know what I mean. Or in case of Daniel, God supernaturally

shut them out of the lion. What I wanted to understand is there is

no one way of going about it. There's no one way of dealing in

the problem. What somebody else dealt to it, how somebody else dealt to

it, that's not up to you. Because if you are a David,

maybe the David can use their skills set to defeat the lion. But if

you were Samson, you need to use your supernatural stringth. What I'm trying

to say is there's no one way of going about it. God's way is

different from different people. What God has given you, what strengths he has

given you, what way He's leading you? Your life is different. So

don't compare yourself to somebody else. Don't say, oh, no, God,

I'm facing the lion as much as David, but he had the skills.

I don't have it. I'm facing this lion as much as Samson,

but I'm not having the supernatural stringth. Don't compare your life with them.

The way God dealt with Samson is not the way God is going to deal

with you. The way God dealt with David is not the way God is

going to deal with you. The way God dealt with Noah, It's not

the way God is going to deal with you. The way God is going

to help you deal with your lion is going to be different. So stop

looking at somebody else and look to the Lord and ask God, how are

you going to deal with me? God? How are you going to leave

me in this step? God? How are you going to take and help

me def ead this line in my lifeguard. When you look up to the

Lord, He's going to uniquely create a pathway for you to see the supernatural

hand of Guard lead you and help you defeat the lions in your life.

Now, one more thing. One of the scriptures that a lot of people

gote is found in first Peak of five or see where it says where be

alert and of sober mind for your enemy. The devil comes in like a

roaring line. A lot of people say, John, See the Bible is

saying that the devil is a roaring line. John, I need to be

careful because the lion is going to come and debother me. Listen. The

Bible is very clear. It says the enemy prowls in and comes around like

a roaring lion. He is not the roaring line. He's only like a

roaring lion. One of the best examples I can give for this is you,

guys know, or if you follow me closely, you know how much

of a Scooby Doo fan I am. I have been in to do international

Books of World Records for my Scooby Doo collection, a curated why where I

have so many different pieces and so many different collections and things that I do

because of my love for Scooby Doo. Cannot tell you something. When you

look at the commonality of all the episodes of Scooby Doo for the most part,

what do you see? There is a ghost that comes what happens at

the end of the story they realized that this was not a ghost. This

came like a ghost, but it was not a ghost. It was just

a man in a mask. He'd sounded like a ghost, but it was

not a ghost. He'd walked like a ghost, but it was not a

ghost. He looked like a ghost when it was not a ghost. It

was always a man in a mask. Now I just brought three of those

ghosts with me to show you. This was the first episode of Scooby Doo

in nineteen sixty nine, on September the thirteenth, What a Night for a

Night where this black night was the ghost. But at the end of the

episode they realized when they took off their mask, this was not a ghost.

This was just Jeremiah Whicicles. He was the man who was the who

acting like a ghost. Or when you look at Captain Cutler, or you

look at Creeper, all of these characters, what was it They came in

like a ghost, okay, but there's an a real ghost. They came

in like a character that was going to ski them and harm them. But

the minute they took off the mask, it was just a man in a

mask. What I want you to understand is the same way these skubyo ghosts

come like a ghost, but they're not real ghosts. The Bible is very

clear that the devil comes like a roaring lion, but he's not a real

lion. The real lion is the one living on the inside of you from

the type of Judah, and that's the lion of Judah, that is Jesus

Christ. Listen to this. When you have the real lion in you,

no fake lion can come near you. The fake lion can scare you,

make funny noises, may come around chasing you, like any other scudo ghost

that keeps coming to chase you. But the minute you stand your ground and

remove the masks, so to speak, and strip the devil of his power

and say, hey, you are a defeated four you can't hold me.

I have the real lion in me. When you do that, I believe,

decree and declare the same way the SCRIBERO and the Gang are able to

get rid of every ghost that comes in like a ghost. I want you

to know that every time the enemy attacks like a roaring lion, you're going

to come out of Victoria's because you have the living, true, real line

of Judah living on the inside of you, through whom you're going to be

victorious. In Jesus Name, Lord, I pray that this world will go

forth and be a blessing to those who are listening or watching around the world.

In the name of Jesus Lord, as they face the lions in their

life, let them know this without a shadow of ford, My God is

faithful. He given me what I need to fight my lions, or He's

going to help me fight the lions for me. In Jesus Name, I
