0:46 Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Field for the Soul with John gift of podcast. As you would have seen in the last couple of episodes, we've been doing a series on getting clarity in life, and today is a summary where I just want to quickly remind you of all these pointers and I really try to you to take this seriously if you want to get clarity in various areas of your life. By the grace of God, I've been able to help so many people in the last couple of years and especially of recent times where people want to get clarity in terms of the ministry, in terms of their calling, their purpose, career, or even young people who want to take right steps while they're in their schools and colleges so that you know they're not in a place where they come out and they do not know what to do with their life.

1:27 Speaker 2: So, by the grace of God, I've been able to help so many people of different age groups and different people. And if you really are looking for clarity, you can always reach out to me through my social media on Instagram or through my email and I would really love to hear from you and help you out in whatever capacity I can as well. So I really challenge you to also share these around because I believe these nuggets will help you. Segments will help you in your walk when you take it seriously to get clarity over your life as well.

1:56 Speaker 2: So without further too, I want to just quickly remind you of the various things, and I really recommend that you go through these segments and take the precautionary or the steps that you need to take so that you will be able to see the results of this, because it's not enough for you to just hear them, but you also need to put them into practice for you to start experiencing or getting clarity over your life as well. So getting started with part one where I spoke to you about the importance of building your relationship with God to an extent where you can hear the voice of God personally.

2:31 Speaker 2: See a lot of times we focus on yes, you need to build a relationship with God, whether the emphasis on pray for a longer time, or read the Bible for a longer time, or go deep in your Bible studies, or attend church more regularly, all of those things. See, there's a place for all of that. There's a place for yes, you need to spend quality time with a lot. But I want to challenge you, don't just spend time as a time of spending time with God where it's all about you just going and telling them I want this, I want that to God.

3:00 Speaker 2: You know what, I just want to keep reading, reading, reading the Bible just to get information. But get to a place where you are building a relationship with God to an extent where you can personally hear the voice of God. Because the Bible clearly says my sheep will hear my voice. The Bible clearly says that you know. Behold, there's a voice behind you telling you which way you need to go. Turn to the left or turn to the right. And I say at thirty twenty one, so God wants to give you guidance. God wants to speak to you.

3:25 Speaker 2: He wants to lead you, guide you every step along the way. And so it is important that you take that step to develop your relationship with God to an extent where you can hear the voice of God. And I want you to stay tuned because in the podcast, I plan to do a series on hearing the Voice of God very soon, and I believe that series is also going to help you as you take that step to hear the voice of God. Now, the second thing I told you is that God is not going to give you all the details right away, but he expects that you take the step based on what He has given you, and as you take the step, he will lead you step by step.

3:59 Speaker 2: He's not going to give you a to zen of all the instructions. He's not able to give you all the things that you need to know beforehand, but he's going to give you the information you need to get started. He's going to give you the information you need to make your first move. My challenge is that you don't just wait for all the details, but get started with what God has already given you. And the part three is when I remind you that sometimes the maybe, if you're saying, John, I want to hear God's voice, I have taken steps to hear the voice of God, but still I'm not hearing his voice.

4:32 Speaker 2: For still, for some reason, I'm not able to get any clarity on which move I need to make, which direction I need to go. But here's the word place where I challenge you that you know, if you are filling yourself with a lot of wrong voices spoken over you, you will find it hard to hear or discern the voice of God. Because if other voices, even if they mean well, if they're good people that can be close friends, members, they can mean well, But if they are influencing or if they have an influence over your decision making, if they are constantly speaking over your life without you realizing, you could be entertaining the wrong voices.

5:14 Speaker 2: And because those voices are louder than the still soft voice of God, you're finding it hard to discern the voice of God. Today, my challenges get to a place where you are making that intentional step to start getting away from the wrong voices, or at least keep a distance to a point where the wrong voices don't influence the decisions in your life. So you need to be clear on that and based on that when you look at the fourth part I was talking to you about even in the Book of Timothy, where it says where the apostle Paul told Timothy in chapter four, verse five of tewond Timothy, he said, you know, I want you to have a clear mind in all situations, and I really challenged you to look at areas in your life in which there is an entrance to you for having a clear mind.

6:06 Speaker 2: Maybe it could be your social media, it could be your gadget, it could be that your workaholic. It could be even ministry. It could be something that's occupying so much of thought in your mind you wake up thinking about it, You're going to bed thinking about this person. You're always on having this in the back of your mind. So you're not having that clear mind in all situations. So today's a wake up call for you that you will take that intentional step to clear your mind. Because the Bible doesn't say that God will clear your mind.

6:35 Speaker 2: It says the postal Poule told Timothy, clear your mind, have a clear mind in all situations. So there is a place where God, when you take that step and say, God, help me, have a clear mind, and the Lord honors that by answering and setting you free in your mind. And even if you're listening right now, when you're saying there's so many things in your mind, I want to pray in the name of Jesus Christ that as you're listening, you will experience the touch of the Lord over your mind and God will bring that clear mind to you.

7:09 Speaker 2: So right after that I spoke to you on part five, where I was telling you about the importance of letting go of control and trusting God. I really challenge you to get to that place where if there is an area of your life where you're unwilling to let go, where you're holding on and you're saying, you know what I wanted my way, this is the best thing, this is my dream, this is my passion. I want to do it my way. Where the thing I want to recommend and challenge you is that, yes, God, you know God has your best interests at that God wants to grant it deserves of your heart.

7:40 Speaker 2: God gave you the dream like he gave the dreams to Joseph, and he will fulfill those dreams. But the thing is how he wants to do it is in a place where you need to trust him and say, God as surrender to you to do it your way, not my way. So let go of the control and start trusting God. Like how in the Book of Acts it says Date let go of that control and allowed the ship to steer in whichever direction. So you need to let go and say, however the Lord is leading, however God is moving, let it happen because I know by the end of it, God will lead me to where I need to go.

8:15 Speaker 2: And then past six, I was telling you about the importance of slowing down because a lot of times we're on the constant rush. We're like, oh, I need to do more if I need to hear God's voice. But what if you're missing out on where you need to be because you are faster than you know the pace at which God wants you to go. See, sometimes if you're going too fast, it will take longer time for you to slow down. Right, if the Titanic was going at a slower pace, they would have been able to stop before they hit the Hasberg.

8:50 Speaker 2: Sometimes you don't get clarity. Sometimes you things are not working out, not because you're not moving enough, it's because you're moving quicker or in a faster pace than what you had designed to move. So I'd really recommend you to slow down if you want to hear the voice of God, and challenge you to go into each of these segments to learn more. Okay, And when you look at the part seven, I was also talking to you on the importance of resting wealth to hear God's voice. Where I've told you, yes, one you need to slow down, but there's another part where you need to actually pause.

9:21 Speaker 2: You need to rest so that you can hear the voice of God. You know, sometimes we think like, oh, how can I take rest, man, I have so much to do, But sometimes real work gets done and real productivity improves when you take that step to be intentional in resting, intentional in taking a break pausing. And I also spoke to you on the importance of how when Elijah had a big assignment in front of him, he didn't start running. What did he do? He slept, he ate and slept, He hate and slipt, He took cut off, took care of his physical body.

9:57 Speaker 2: You know, sometimes you don't get clarity because you're not sleeping enough, you're not eating well, you're not having a proper disciplined lifestyle. You know, look at all of that and take care of your physical body. Only after he ate and slept, ate and slept, he got clarity and the strength he needed for the next step that he had to take in his life. So I'd really challenge you to take it seriously to take care of your physical body. All right. So the next thing I want to talk about is remind you of is another practical thing on writing down to get more clarity, because when you start writing things down, you'll be able to get the structure, you know, flow, so that you'd be able to see things.

10:46 Speaker 2: You'll be able to look at the sword analysis basically the strength and the opportunity, the thread and the weakness, and all of those things will help you look at which one is a better option for you to take a step. Where is it that you have the leading, where you have the strength, where you are able to do better, and all of those things and at the same time. Part nine is where I've told you about the Bible, says Colosians three point fifteen, that the peace of God will be your empire. So it's a place where you go where you trust the leading of God through the peace.

11:21 Speaker 2: He gives you a piece that doesn't make sense, because outside, even if things are not making sense, even if things are you know, not peaceful on the outside, you will have that peace. At the same time, if everything looks good on the outside, but still if you have an undress through the Holy Spirit, then you know that it's not of the lot. So I challenge you to let peace be your empire. And the last part, the path then, which I finished with yesterday, was based out of Abraham when I told you in Genesis twenty two, the Lord told Abraham to go to the region of Moria to offer sn Isaac as a sacrifice in one of the mountains.

12:02 Speaker 2: See, God gave him the instruction to get started. Like I told you in the beginning about how God leads you step by step, God gives you instructions and at the same time, at some point when you go to where God wants you to go, either he will lead you through another voice or whatever, or the Bible says he looked up and he saw the place. God didn't speak to him again and said, this is the mountain. He just told him go to the region. So sometimes you just got to go to the region. Just got to go where God wants you to go, and He will lead you every step.
