0:54 to talk to you today about their opinions of fuel change. I've been talking

0:59 to you for the past couple of episodes from Acts Strap BET twenty eight and

1:07 any chance to do that. But here's the thing I want to share where

1:11 there's a moment when the Apostle, Paul and the rest of the gang are

1:15 taken into the island of Malta because of a storm while they were just on

1:19 board a ship. Here's the thing that happens right while they were just it

1:26 was very cold, it was rainy, and so they were hitting the putting

1:32 some fire out there to keep the people warm the survivors comfortable. And this

1:38 is what actually happens during that time. There's a snake or a wiper that

1:44 holds onto Apostle Paul, and the people here think that, you know,

1:49 the Apostle Paul was bad, that he was a murderer, and he desolves

1:53 to be punished, and the Goddess Justice is coming to punish him, and

1:59 he's going to die, you know. This is what they talk about him

2:02 right in the first couple of verses. Anchorage to check that up. But

2:07 the Bible says that he just shook the snake off into the fire and suffered

2:10 no ill effects. It's awesome. He didn't even go through any effects ill

2:15 effects because of this. And this is what actually happens. In verse six,

2:20 and I'm reading from the NIV version, it says the people expected him

2:24 to swell up or suddenly fall dead, but after waiting a long time and

2:30 seeing nothing unusual happened to him, they changed their minds and said he was

2:35 a god. The people expected him to swell up or suddenly fall dead.

2:43 But what I want you to understand is there may be people in your life

2:46 who are expecting negative things to happen to you. They may be expecting some

2:52 ill over you. They may not have good intentions, or they may be

2:55 just looking at all the reality of your situation. They may look at your

2:59 background, your bank account, They may look at where you come from,

3:02 your family. They may look at what they have seen about you, studied

3:07 upon you, and they are just saying, you know what, you're not

3:08 going to make it through life. You don't have what it takes. You

3:10 don't have the connections, the resources of provision. You don't have what it

3:15 takes in any sense that you ever need. And they may be just waiting

3:20 or expecting for you to fail. They're expecting for you to fall out,

3:23 They're expecting for you to die. You may be in a place where you

3:27 are saying, John, these people are just expecting negative with you over me.

3:30 They're wishing negativity over me. And you may be in a place like

3:34 that. But can I tell you something, But after waiting a long time,

3:43 listen, it says, after waiting a long time, you know one

3:47 of the things that's really hard is the waiting period, no doubt of it.

3:52 We don't want to wait. But there is an aspect where you need

3:55 to understand. Yes, you got to wait. You have to wait,

4:00 the Bible says. And after waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen,

4:06 they changed their minds. What I want you guys to understand is that

4:14 that may be people who are expecting negativity over you, but I want you

4:17 to just wait. Wait for some time, Wait for some time. They're

4:24 expecting some negative news to come from your end. But fight, fight,

4:30 wait, trust God. God showed up in a supernatural way, the appossible.

4:34 I was supposed to die, but he did not. And when they

4:40 waited and they saw that their expectations did not happen, they changed their minds.

4:47 They were stunned. They were like, this is a supernatural act.

4:51 What I want you guys to understand today is that when you stay faithful,

4:57 when you look up to the Lord, when you trust in the Lord,

5:00 when you would just wait for some time, wait for some time, guys,

5:03 I encourage you listen. Even in my ministry, we've been waiting.

5:06 I've been waiting for a long period of time from a lot of miracles,

5:10 for a lot of you know, promises of God to become reality in my

5:14 life. They're not happen yet. But you know what, people may have

5:17 negative opinions. People have said, it's not going to happen. The ministry's

5:20 never going to grow. I don't have what it takes. You know,

5:24 I'm just ambitious, and it's not going to happen. People can have their

5:28 expectations waiting to see when I'm going to quit, waiting to see when I'm

5:31 going to give up, waiting to see when I'm going to throw in the

5:34 towel. But I'm here to tell you when I keep waiting, waiting,

5:38 waiting, waiting, waiting, and I'm looking up to the Lord, when

5:40 I trust in him and I know that he's faithful to his word, God

5:44 is going to show up and show out supernaturally. That's my hope. And

5:49 that's why i'm preaching to you, not because I'm just preaching theory. I'm

5:54 preaching from the reality that I know as set in in my heart, from

5:58 the word of God, that my God is faithful to his word and He's

6:02 going to show up, and he will definitely show up in your life.

6:06 He will definitely show up. The people who are expecting for you to die,

6:11 are going to change their minds, Their opinions will change. God will

6:15 make that happen. Believe it. And it's not just for you to prove

6:20 yourself to people. When God makes it happen. The next couple of verses,

6:26 you see that the apostle Paul was a mighty witness for God in this

6:29 place. He was able to heal so many people praying for them, and

6:34 he was a great testimony for the Kingdom of God. That's what God will

6:40 do in changing the opinions of people or in your life. Amen, God
