0:53 share something very important with you guys from Genesis up to two team, to

0:58 give you a little understanding of what's happening. Abraham had okayed the voice of

1:02 God and followed God's leading. In Genesis twelopment, God called him to come

1:07 out of his home, his family, this land and go to the place

1:11 that God was going to call him to. And along with Abraham, Lot

1:15 also came right and there was a moment if you see in chapter thirteen they

1:23 were staying together so long, but then verse five, if you see now

1:26 a Lot who was moving about with Abraham also had flocks and herds and tents,

1:32 but the land could not support them while they stayed together, for their

1:36 possessions were so great that they were not able to stay together, and quarreling

1:41 arose between Abraham's orders and Lots and the Canaanites and the Parasites were also living

1:49 in the land at that time. So in verse eight, Abraham is saying,

1:53 you know, let's not have quarreling between you and me and your men

1:56 and our men. And because we're all close relatives, because we have this

2:00 whole land, let us part company, okay. And so here's the amazing

2:05 thing. He has the right to say, you know what, I'll choose

2:07 this part, you choose the other part. Because he is the one whom

2:10 God called, He's the one who's hitting this whole thing. But you see,

2:15 that's why you see his trust upon the Lord and his level of maturity,

2:20 where he's saying, if you go to the left, I'll go to

2:23 the right, if you go to the right, I'll go to the left.

2:24 So he's giving the complete option to Lot, saying, you choose what

2:28 you want to choose, and if you look at us, then Lot looked

2:30 around and he chooses what looks like the best place, you know, that

2:36 place that he chose for swell watered, like the garden of the Lord,

2:40 like the land of Egypt. And he's like, you know what, I'm

2:46 going to choose this place, and he's set out towards the east. Okay,

2:50 and Abraham ended up living in the land of Canaan, while Lot ended

2:55 up choosing the cities of the plane and pitched distance near Sodom. Now,

3:00 y's the thing I want you to understand that really caught my attention. If

3:04 you look at worse fourteen, The Lord said to Abraham, after Lot had

3:10 parted from him. The Lord said to Abraham, after Lot had parted from

3:16 him, and God gave him some things that he wanted to speak. What

3:22 I want you guys to understand is you may be in a place in your

3:23 life where you're saying, John, I don't know why I'm not hearing God.

3:27 I don't know why God is not still speaking or guiding me. You

3:29 see, when this whole thing that was happening, when they were staying together,

3:32 when there was quarrel and all of those things, God was silent.

3:36 God was not telling Abraham. You know, I want you to choose this

3:38 place. Let Lord choose this place. You know, God was silent throughout

3:43 this, but the word is very clear, the Lord said to Abraham after

3:47 Lot had parted from him. I don't know who needs to hear this word.

3:51 But sometimes you may be in a place where you're saying, I don't

3:53 know why God is not speaking. Maybe the Lot in your life has not

3:57 yet parted from you. Maybe you're not willing to let of the people that

4:00 need to be let go on off because thereose are the people who are keeping

4:03 you from the next thing that God has for you. Maybe there are people

4:06 in your life that you need to kiss goodbye. There are people in your

4:10 life that you need to be willing to say. See. Abraham was the

4:13 one who took this step, and he said, you know what, I

4:15 love you a lot closer relatives, but I think we cannot stay together.

4:18 Why because you know what, there's so much of things coming along with this,

4:23 And let's take this step where we act as mature human beings and part

4:27 ways. And you see the minute he took the initiative to part ways,

4:30 instead of being emotionally attached, instead of allowing his old feelings to connect and

4:35 you know, feeling like, oh my gosh, what law think. Maybe

4:39 he thinks that I want to just get rid of him. But he gets

4:42 to a place where he's like, you know what, acting like a perfect

4:45 mature human being with no emotions attached. And that's the moment you see after

4:50 he leaves, God spoke to Abraham. I don't know who needs to hear

4:55 this word. Then maybe the moment you're going to hear God's direction next,

5:00 the time when God is going to guide you into the next thing in your

5:02 life is probably connected to the people who are supposed to leave your life.

5:08 Maybe he's going to speak only after they leave. You know, have you

5:12 ever noticed like when somebody is there only after they leave? You know,

5:17 if you're with a friend, you're close ones, or family or someone you

5:20 if you have to say something secret or something just an example, right,

5:25 you would wait for them to leave and then you would speak. You're not

5:28 going to speak in front of them, right, you know, because because

5:32 that's that's your level of maturity, that's your level of intimacy with this person.

5:36 Right. If that's the case, God wants to have that kind of

5:40 a relationship with you, which is very personal and intimate where other people are

5:44 not going to understand, and other people are not going to be involved because

5:47 this is between you and God. And here is a moment. You see

5:50 when God wanted to speak to Abraham, he spoke only after Lot left.

5:56 Today, I want you to introspect. Maybe the reason you're not hearing God,

6:00 it's not because God doesn't want to speak to you. It's probably because

6:03 you're not willing to let go of the lots in your life. You're not

6:06 willing to kiss goodbye to the people who are holding you back. You're not

6:10 willing to move into the next thing that God has for you in your life.

6:15 Think about it, guys, think about it because you see, when

6:19 you understand seasons, you will understand this important thing that every fruit will work

6:26 well in that season. You know, for example, in India, we

6:30 have mangoes that are good in the summer season. If you're trying to buy

6:33 mangoes out of season, it's going to be costly, it's going to be

6:38 not that good in in terms of the taste, the taste is going to

6:41 be terrible and it's not going to be worth it. So some friends or

6:46 some people or some some close ones in your life. You know, if

6:50 you're trying to keep them out of season in your life, it's not going

6:55 to be worth it. They're going to keep you from the next thing that

6:59 God has for you. So today I pray that you'll get to a place

7:03 where you don't let people keep you from the next thing that God has for

7:08 you because you are still keeping them in your life. Amen, God bless
