0:59 Speaker 2: And this is a topic that interests me a lot,

1:02 Speaker 2: and I thought, there's so many lessons that we can

1:04 Speaker 2: take away the same way they climbed the highest peak

1:07 Speaker 2: in the world. You and I have a calling to

1:11 Speaker 2: climb our mountain. The area of calling a deeper level

1:15 Speaker 2: of our destiny or a higher calling that God has

1:19 Speaker 2: for us. And I just think that there's so many

1:22 Speaker 2: things that we can take away from this, and I

1:24 Speaker 2: just want to share this with you guys. And today

1:27 Speaker 2: one of the things I want to talk about is

1:29 Speaker 2: that you may say, John, I understand that God has

1:32 Speaker 2: a calling for me. God has a big plan for me,

1:35 Speaker 2: a big purpose. But it's really huge, and it's really scary.

1:39 Speaker 2: I don't know how I can handle this in the natural.

1:42 Speaker 2: It seems like a mission impossible. There's no way. I

1:45 Speaker 2: don't have the connections, I don't have what it takes,

1:48 Speaker 2: I don't have the resources. I have all of these

1:50 Speaker 2: things coming against me. I don't see any way the

1:53 Speaker 2: natural for me to actually climb the mountain that God

1:57 Speaker 2: has for me, the destiny that He has prepared for me.

2:00 Speaker 2: It's so scary and overwhelming. Well, I want to share

2:03 Speaker 2: something with you. See, when you think about climbing Mount Everest, right,

2:07 Speaker 2: even when you think about Hillary and Tensing, Hillary was

2:11 Speaker 2: a mountaineer, whereas Tensing was a Sherpa. Who are these Shirtpas?

2:17 Speaker 2: Shirpass are the indigenous groups of people in the Himalayan

2:21 Speaker 2: region who are known for their ability to climb in

2:26 Speaker 2: a very good way. They're very good climbers. For example,

2:30 Speaker 2: if you can climb for ten to fifteen minutes without

2:34 Speaker 2: taking rest, they can go for up to thirty minutes.

2:38 Speaker 2: That's how good they are. Okay, you would be in

2:41 Speaker 2: a place where you can't climb for more than two

2:43 Speaker 2: minutes at certain places because it's so strenuous and it's

2:48 Speaker 2: taking everything from you. They would be able to make

2:51 Speaker 2: it for ten minutes at least. So these people are

2:55 Speaker 2: built in that way. They are so good at this.

2:58 Speaker 2: So even when you see there are so many people

3:01 Speaker 2: every year trying to climb to the top of Mount Everest,

3:04 Speaker 2: there are sherpas who go before these mountaineers and they

3:09 Speaker 2: keep everything in order. They go out and set the

3:13 Speaker 2: ropes in place. They go and make sure that everything

3:16 Speaker 2: is fine. They look at obstacles, and they warn the

3:20 Speaker 2: mountaineers if the weather is changing suddenly. They are going

3:24 Speaker 2: before them to prepare and make sure everything is fine.

3:29 Speaker 2: Isn't that how the Bible describes our God. When you're

3:32 Speaker 2: seeing the scripture. In Isaiah forty five, verse two and

3:36 Speaker 2: the Autonomy thirty one, verse eight, it says that God

3:39 Speaker 2: goes before us In one of the translations, it says,

3:42 Speaker 2: how God goes before you and levels the mountains. Think

3:45 Speaker 2: about this the same way the Sherpass go before the

3:48 Speaker 2: mountaineers to prepare the way, to make sure everything is fine,

3:52 Speaker 2: to make sure that ropes are all intact, to make

3:54 Speaker 2: sure there was no unforeseen danger. I want you to

3:58 Speaker 2: understand your God is going before you. He has already

4:01 Speaker 2: gone before you. He's already gone to make sure that

4:04 Speaker 2: the right things are in store for you, the right doors,

4:07 Speaker 2: the right opportunities, the right divine connections. He's already gone

4:11 Speaker 2: before you to make sure that things that can withhold

4:14 Speaker 2: you from fulfilling your purpose are driven away. He's already

4:19 Speaker 2: going there to warn you, Hey, that's not a good relationship.

4:22 Speaker 2: That's a red flag out there. Oh, that's not the

4:24 Speaker 2: right opportunity for you, even though it looks pitcher perfect

4:28 Speaker 2: when you put it on paper. Well, the Lord goes

4:31 Speaker 2: before you, and he wants you. I wanted to understand

4:34 Speaker 2: today the same way the sherpass are going before the

4:38 Speaker 2: mountaineers to prepare a way, to make sure that the

4:42 Speaker 2: mountaineers are in place or are able to have a

4:46 Speaker 2: good journey to the summit. Our God is our sur pa,

4:51 Speaker 2: God our sheer. God goes before us to prepare the way,

4:56 Speaker 2: to level the mountains, to make sure that every obstacle

4:59 Speaker 2: is removed, to make sure that if there is a

5:01 Speaker 2: warning sign or word of caution, he shares it with us,

5:05 Speaker 2: to make sure that we are able to go ahead

5:08 Speaker 2: and fulfill the purpose that God has for us. See

5:11 Speaker 2: for instance, when I wanted to record this podcast episode,

5:14 Speaker 2: it's not that I come to the studio and I

5:17 Speaker 2: start trying to figure out how to work the camera,

5:20 Speaker 2: where to set up the lights, how to make sure

5:23 Speaker 2: that it looks good, how to make sure that everything

5:25 Speaker 2: looks good on frame. No, even before I came, somebody

5:30 Speaker 2: else came in set up the lights, the camera, and

5:33 Speaker 2: the entire place so that I don't have to come

5:36 Speaker 2: and try to figure things out. It's already prepared. The

5:39 Speaker 2: same way. I want you to know that you may

5:41 Speaker 2: be worried about you tomorrow, but God has already gone

5:44 Speaker 2: before you to prepare your tomorrow. You may be worried

5:47 Speaker 2: about how you're going to meet the right person. God

5:49 Speaker 2: has already gone before you to make sure that the

5:52 Speaker 2: right person will be connected with you at the right place,

5:55 Speaker 2: at the right time, or you're wondering, Oh my goodness, John,

5:58 Speaker 2: how am I going to figure this problem out? Listen

6:03 Speaker 2: for Adam. Before He prepared Adam, I wanted to understand,

6:16 Speaker 2: the purpose that God has since store for you. So
