0:53 of times as we look at what's the world at Lodge is going through.

0:56 Maybe when you talk about the pandemic, or that is a recessional or economic

1:02 challenge that's happening. People are losing their jobs, or there's uh insecurity when

1:07 it comes to keeping your jobs, or maybe there are certain things that are

1:11 specific to your locality. Maybe your you or your community is going through some

1:17 kind of a challenge in your area. Maybe geographically uh you know, in

1:22 your area, there's that there's some kind of a challenge uh and and and

1:26 in and around that place there is some kind of a trouble. I wanted

1:30 to understand. Sometimes we tend to look at that and say, you know

1:33 what, you know what, I'm not going to pray about this, because

1:36 everybody's going through this. Even I'm going to go through this, I'm also

1:38 going to suffer. See, I wanted to understand there is a place where,

1:42 yes, the Bible says reign comes on the just undy and just alike,

1:46 Matthew five, fortify, or even when when Jesus said, in this

1:49 world you will have troubles, we will have troubles. We will have challenges.

1:53 There is no escape from a life without troubles. While we are still

1:57 on planet third, we will have challenges that are coming against us. But

2:00 what I want you to understand is you don't have to look at it or

2:05 have this kind of a perspective where if everybody's suffering, you know what,

2:08 I'm also going to suffer. Everybody's getting the COVID. I'm also going to

2:14 get COVID. You know, everybody else is using the job, I'm also

2:16 going to lose their job. So after reason, why we actually go through

2:20 something, it's because we are made up a mind that we're going to go

2:23 through it. That's what I'm trying to say. Don't have to have a

2:25 made up mind that you're actually going to go through it. Sometimes you may

2:30 not actually go through it at all. No, let me give you a

2:32 classic example right in the Bible. One of the biggest famines that took place

2:38 in the Book of Genesis, and so many countries were affected because of this

2:43 famine. So many countries, not just one region, but so many countries

2:46 were affected because of this famine. It was so severe all around. But

2:52 there was one man who did not have to suffer in this famine. And

2:58 you know who that was Joseph. See, when everybody else was having a

3:04 nice time, he suffered. You remember when his brothers they were just enjoying

3:08 their life and in the comforts of their home. They just put Joseph in

3:14 trouble. They threw him into a pit, and then later they sold him

3:17 as a slave. He suffered while his brothers were enjoying the comforts of home,

3:22 of his home. Actually, yes, everybody else was living a normal

3:27 life, but Joseph was going through so many turmoils and turmoils. He went

3:31 through turmoils because of his brother. He was slave and then he was wrongly

3:37 accused, he was put in the prison. His life was so unfair in

3:39 so many different ways. But when the famine came, I wanted to understand.

3:46 Everybody else suffered, but Joseph so through the famine. He was able

3:53 to go higher than the famine. Are you can know what I'm saying.

4:00 He reigned over the famine. What I want you to understand is, as

4:03 a child of God, when you say yes to God, yes, you

4:06 will have challenges, things that other people are not going through. You will

4:10 go through like like I said, with the example with Joseph, right when

4:13 everybody else was having a normal, normal life, Joseph was going through a

4:18 lot of trouble. He went through a lot of heartache and pain. He

4:23 went through so many tough years. But when everybody else was suffering because of

4:30 this famine, when everybody else was in a season of uncertainty, when everybody

4:35 else was going through a moment when things were not looking fine, Joseph was

4:42 able to soar through it. He was able to reign over it. He

4:46 was able to come out victorious, and he became a solution to the problem

4:53 faced by those nations. I want to hear a guise to understand today right

4:59 because you give your life to Jesus. Yes, you go through tough times.

5:02 We all go through tough times, and especially when you have a call

5:05 of God upon your life, you go through tough times even more than what

5:10 other people are going through. For them, it's a normal life. But

5:12 you're going through a hell of a time, just like Joseph went through.

5:16 Maybe that's how it's been so long for you. But what I want you

5:19 to understand is when everybody else is looking and scratching their heads wondering how to

5:26 tackle this big problem, I want you to understand that when you look up

5:29 to the Lord, you don't have to settle for and say, oh,

5:31 you know what, another big problem. I don't know what I'm going to

5:34 do. No, I want you to have this new perspective. You are

5:38 going to be the problem solver. You are going to be the one who's

5:42 bringing the solution. You're going to be the one soaring through this. You're

5:46 going to use this, this this famine, or this pandemic or this season

5:51 that everybody else is going through, maybe in the world at large, or

5:56 maybe in your community or in your church, your neighborhood, wherever this,

6:00 this, whatever trouble is happening everywhere around you. As a child of God,

6:05 you're going to sow about that, and you're going to use that position

6:12 to say people that that's the choice of word. The Bible says that Joseph,

6:16 because of where he went, he was able to say people through the

6:20 famine and today, through the pandemic, through people losing their jobs, through

6:28 so much of fear and turmoil and anxiety and worry and frustration, through all

6:32 the unfair things happening around the world, through the calamities, through the wars,

6:39 rages raging all over. I want you to understand when you dig your

6:46 heels in and say, God, use me, use me to so through

6:50 this, use me to reign over this, use me to be a blessing

6:57 to others. I'm telling you, guys, what is a problem for everyone

7:00 else will be the platform God uses to bless you, to use you to

7:05 be a blessing to other people. Amen. So stop having that whole mindset

7:11 that you have that you know what everybody's suffering. I'm also going to suffer.

7:15 Take that mindset out and say God, I've suffered enough. Joseph suffered

7:20 enough when he was going through the other times. This was the moment for

7:24 him to shine. This was the moment for him to raise a bow.

7:29 And I'm telling you you will also experience such moments when you say yes to

7:33 God. Those problems are going to become the platforms God is going to use

7:41 to not only bless you, but for you to be a greater blessing.
