1:03 I committed this big sin. So this is the reason I can't hear God.

1:08 I need to repent, or I need to do this kind of a

1:12 prayer of repentance. I need to you know, fast, or I need

1:17 to do something to myself, punish myself. Then maybe you know, in

1:22 the sweet by and by sometimes I may be able to hear God. But

1:26 John, I don't think I can hear the voice of God, I've made

1:29 too many mistakes, or I'm living in sin. Can I tell you something,

1:32 Guys, I'm not asking you to deliberately continue in sin. That's not

1:37 what I'm saying. Okay, I'm just clearly saying this to you. I

1:40 don't approve of a lifestyle of sin. We all sin, we all make

1:42 mistakes sometimes because we are still dealing with the flesh. We're still dealing with

1:48 all the effects of sin that you know came because of the fallen nature of

1:52 man. But I don't approve of, you know, living in the life

1:59 style of sin. But here's the thing. I wanted to understand. A

2:01 lot of people think that because they made a mistake, because they sinned,

2:07 because they did something that they shouldn't have done, or they said something they

2:09 shouldn't have said, or they didn't do something but they should have done that,

2:15 they think that they don't deserve to hear God. They think that Dick

2:20 can never hear the voice of God. But I wanted to tell you something.

2:23 If you look at the scripture right from the beginning, right the minute

2:27 Adam sinned, what happened he heard the voice of God? The minute came

2:34 killed Abel, whose voice did he hear? First? He heard the voice

2:38 of God. God called out to him. See what I'm telling you is

2:45 sometimes people say, oh, John, so that means I can continue with

2:47 my sin and God will still speak to me. No, no, no,

2:52 listen. What I'm trying to tell you is, even when you make

2:54 mistakes, God wants to speak to you to help you come back on track.

3:01 He wants to speak to you to guide you through the best path for

3:06 your life. Yes, you made a mistake, but he wants to lead

3:08 you. He wants to help you get back so that you will fulfill your

3:13 purpose. God doesn't want to write you off. A lot of people are

3:17 in this misconception about God that, oh I need to be holy, holy,

3:23 holy, holy, holy, holy, holy Holy, then only I

3:25 would be able to hear God. No, you've seen in these cases these

3:32 people just sinned and they heard the voice of God, which means that your

3:38 sin has got nothing to do with hearing God or not. It's about you

3:45 tuning yourself to hear His voice at any given point of time. Today,

3:50 I want to ask you this question. Have you tuned yourself to hear God's

3:53 voice so that even when you're doing the right thing. God is leading you,

3:58 directing your steps and guide you. At the same time, even when

4:01 you do make a mistake, he's saying he don't worry, it's okay.

4:06 I want to help you get back on track. I'll tell you how to

4:10 get back on track. You know, when you look at GPS, the

4:13 minute you make a mistake, what happens. The GPS doesn't say too bad,

4:16 you made a mistake, goodbye, good luck with your life. That's

4:19 not what GPS does. What does GPUs do? It says, okay,

4:25 you know what. It doesn't say you know what at all, but it

4:28 just says, you know, there is a way you can take the next

4:31 best way to get back on track. Maybe take a U turn in a

4:36 while, or maybe you can take that left and then you can take another

4:41 right, and then you'll be able to reach your course. You'll be able

4:45 to get back to where you have to go towards the direction that I've been

4:48 designed for you. So what does GPUs do. It's it's not going to

4:51 stop speaking or communicating just because you made a wrong turn. It's going to

4:57 tell you which is the best way to get back on track. If GPS

5:00 a man made object is going to still be determined to ensure that you get

5:05 to your final destination. How much more you think our God wants to make

5:10 sure that you get to your final and ultimate destiny that he has for you.

5:15 I'm here to announce to you, the saints of God, the God

5:16 we serve as a good God, the God we serve as a loving father.

5:19 The God we serve is not an angry figure. He's not just waiting

5:23 to punish you and say, look out all the reasons I don't want to

5:27 have anything to do with you. No, he is a God who wants

5:30 to have a relationship with you. He understands your weakness. He understands the

5:33 pain, He understands the guilt, he understands the regret. He understands what

5:39 you're going through. But the good news is he says, I want to

5:42 help you get back on track. I want to help you make better choices

5:45 next time. I want to help you will make some miracles out of your

5:49 mistakes. Would you allow him to do that? Today? God, I

5:54 pray for every single person who's encompassed with the load of guilt because of their

6:00 stakes, their sins. Maybe they did it unknowingly, maybe they did it

6:02 willingly. But today, God, I pray that just the way you spoke

6:06 to Adam, the same way you spoke to Kane, I pray that you

6:12 will speak to your people because you have a better way to lead them out.

6:17 I just want to close with this example. I'm just let to share

6:21 this. When you look at Adam when he sinned, right, he ate

6:26 of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. You know, the

6:30 reason God spoke is no, I mean, God wants you to speak to

6:33 them, but he spoke, and then eventually the conversation goes and God is

6:39 speaking to prevent them from eating from the tree of life, because if they

6:46 eat of the Tree of life, they wouldn't live forever, but they will

6:48 forever be disconnected with God. Right, So God wanted to prevent them so

6:55 that the ultimate destiny will not be affected. So today I want to tell

7:00 you something. God wants to make sure that you don't mess up your ultimate

7:05 destiny in life. That's why he wants to speak. That's why he wants

7:10 to intervene, not to make your life miserable, but to help you fulfill
