0:49 Speaker 2: Hey, are you in a place of guilt? Are you letting regret run your life? Can I tell you something? You're in the right place. I just want to encourage you today that yes, we all make mistakes, and you might have made miss some mistakes, maybe things you did deliberately in spite of the fact that people want you not to do this. But now you're in a place where you're dealing with the consequence of those mistakes, consequence of those sins, consequence of doing things that you're not supposed to do or not doing things that you're supposed to do.

1:20 Speaker 2: But whatever p it today, if you're listening to this, it's not by chance, it's not by accident. It's because God wants to remind you of this important truth. Yes, you made some mistakes, Yes you went off track. Yes you did things that you're not supposed to do. But I want you to understand that God still loves you. Jesus died on the cross even though that you and I are still sinners. The scripture says, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. He loves you in spite of the fact that you made a mistake.

1:49 Speaker 2: Now listen, I'm not saying continue in sin I'm not saying continue in the wrong doing. I'm not saying this is the way for you to do because that's how you're made. But what I'm saying the saying is even though you made the mistake, even though you messed up, even though you fell short of God's glory, I want you to understand that God still has a plan. God still has a way out for you. God still has a way to take you out and get you back on track. I want you to understand. The Bible says that if we just confess our sins.

2:20 Speaker 2: He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Jesus took all the sins on the cross of Calvary so that today you and I can receive His mercy and his grace for free, so that we can receive the help of the Holy Spirit to help us get back on track.

2:38 Speaker 1: Today.

2:38 Speaker 2: I want you to understand you don't have to live in guilt. You don't have to live in fear, you don't have to live in that sense of regret over the things in the past, because this is a new day. When you come to your senses and say I want to get back on track, I want to tell you the scripture says, as far as the heasts from the west, God has removed our transgressions from us, that he has forgiven us, that he has cleansed us. And today you can boldly go to the throne of grace and say, God, I receive your mercy, I receive your grace.

3:10 Speaker 2: I want you to help me to live the kind of life that you want me to live. You may say, John, that sounds nice, but the problem is I'm still living in the consequence of my sin. I have to endure this because of what I did. I know I shouldn't have done this, but I have no other choice. Yes, I'm not saying that we can escape all the consequence of sins. Yes, God forgives us, and because of his forgiveness, we are having the hope of eternal life, There's no doubt about it. But the truth is, because of the sin, there may be moments when you and I are still dwelling in the fallout of sin, fall out of our consequences because of the choices we made.

3:50 Speaker 2: We can't escape all of that. Like if you committed a crime, right, you can escape the law. You can't say God forgive me and take me out of the No, maybe you need to and sometime in the prison or behind virus or you know, things like that. There are certain consequences for sin. In Joshua chapter two, there's a moment when there are spies who are going in to visit the Promised Land and see before the children of Israel can take over the Promised Land. And there was a prostitute in the Promised Land called Rehab.

4:21 Speaker 2: Now here's the thing I want you to understand. Rehab was a prostitute. This was morally incorrect. This was not the kind of lifestyle that God intends for us to live. Now, think about this for a minute. If you think of prostitutes or mafia or people who are doing something illegal, will they have their center or their house in the city center. Will they have it on the prime location of the city or will they have their house adjacent to the edge of the city. Will they have it in the outskirts of the city, far away from the novel people, far away from all the businesses that are done in the proper way.

5:05 Speaker 2: Right, here's the thing I want you to understand. The fact that this lady was a prostitute is seen in where her house was. A house was not in the city center, the Bible says in Joshua two fifteen. Since Rehab's house was built into the city wall, the town wall, she was able to let the rope down and help the spies to escape. Why was her house at the edge of the town Why was it adjacent to the city wall? Why wasn't it near the city center? Because of a profession, Because she was doing something that was not supposed to be kosher, She was not doing the right thing.

5:49 Speaker 2: She was doing something in sin. Here's the thing I wanted to understand the choice of buying that house came from a place of sin. But when she committed that to God and she said, I'm going to honor the true living God. I'm going to do what is right. When she turned around and repented, what happened. That very choice she made in sin was the choice that helped her and the family to get said, when the children of Israel enter the Promised Land, what I want you to understand is today you may be saying, I'm dealing with the consequence of the sin.

6:24 Speaker 2: This lady's house was in the city wall, adjacent to the city wall because of her sin. It was because of the consequence of her sin. But when she committed that into God's hands, God brought out something beautiful through that negative thing, through that sin. Today, I want to tell you don't have to live with that guilt the rest of your life. You don't have to live with that fear, the regret the rest of your life when you recommit your life to God. When you say, God, I messed up. I did things I'm not supposed to do.

6:54 Speaker 2: I went off track with God. Here I am help me, God, Here I am take me here I am. Receive me when you have that heart. I'm telling you, just like this lady, God brought out a beautiful miracle out of a mistake. I'm telling you God is going to bring out something awesome out of the sin, out of that consequence, out of the very bad choice that you made in and through your life. God, I pray that this world will go in the name of Jesus and encourage each and everyone under the sound of my voice. If they're dealing with some area of regret guilt, I pray that today they will experience that breakthrough, experience that freedom, experience, that knowing without a shadow of that that they are forgiven and that you have a new plan for their life, and You're going to do something awesome and spectacular in and through their life.
