0:53 you might have hood or seen or known by now that we have stepped into

0:58 the second off of the year of twenty twenty three. One half of this

1:03 year is done, six months done, and I'm not sure where you are

1:07 staying or standing in your life at this point of time. Maybe you had

1:12 a really good first half of this year and you're grateful to God, you're

1:17 thanking him. I just encourage you right now, you know, take a

1:19 humanus and just say Lord, I thank you for all the blessings upon my

1:23 life. Thank you for the blessings that You're bestowed upon me, your favor

1:27 upon my life. Thank you for giving me strength, giving me health,

1:30 giving me family, giving me cover, giving me of the finance that I

1:34 need, the provisions I need, the resources I need, the job I

1:38 have. Thank Him for every blessing you can see and the blessings that you

1:42 cannot see, the connections, the protection from wrong doors where God led you

1:49 and protected you from that wrong or bad accident that could have happened, you

1:53 know, whatever it is, you know, getting to the place where you're

1:57 like, oh, you know what, God, Yes, I'm grateful.

2:00 I'm thankful to you, and I just take this time to just thank you.

2:02 You know. I just want you to start off from the place where

2:06 you have that attitude of gratitude. Yes, you may not have everything you

2:09 want, or you actually went through something bad, I still want you to

2:13 be grateful today. Just say, God, this is the day that you

2:15 have made, and I'm going to choose to rejoice and be glad in it.

2:19 That's what the Samas was saying, and that's what you know. It's

2:22 a familiar song, but it should be the rhythm of a heart, melody

2:25 of a heart. Way we say God, this is the day you have

2:28 made. This is the month you have made, This is the second half

2:30 of the year that you have made. And you know so many people could

2:34 not make it to this point, but you have led me. And I'm

2:37 just taking this time to say, thank you, Lord, thank you Jesus,

2:40 thank you Lord. You know from that place, you may be in

2:43 a place where you're saying, but John, there are things that I've been

2:46 praying about, but things didn't work out the way I expected. You know,

2:49 I lost my job, I lost a loud one. Thing didn't really

2:53 seem as good as you sound. The first half of this year. I

2:57 had so many promises, so many hopes and expectation. Things didn't work out

3:00 the way I expected. Things just fell out of place. Or maybe you

3:06 were hoping for a job but you'd still haven't got one, you were hoping

3:08 to meet the right person, still haven't found out, or certain things that

3:13 you've been wishing and hoping, maybe for a change, maybe for some kind

3:16 of a miracle or breakthrough, and you're saying, six months over and I

3:21 don't see anything happen. John. You know, like I said before,

3:23 reminding again, you know the scripture says in the Book of their Selonians five.

3:28 You know, in everything give thanks. Don't just give thanks when things

3:30 work out well, but in everything give thanks. So just come to the

3:35 place where you're saying God, I want to have that attitude of gratitude.

3:38 But I'm saying God, I choose to trust you, I choose to depend

3:42 on you. I choose to look up to you. I choose to believe

3:44 that you have the best in store for me. Yes, it may not

3:46 have worked out in the first half of the year, but your promises are

3:50 still yes and Amen in Christ, Jesus God, I choose to believe that

3:53 you know what you led me thus far. You protected me, you watched

3:57 over me, and I believe you're going to take over and take control of

4:00 me even in through the next part of this year as well. So getting

4:03 to the place of review and be you're grateful to God, that's the first

4:10 part I wanted to talk about. You know, whether you had a good

4:12 part or a negative aspect of twenty twenty three so far, I believe that

4:16 you know, getting to the place of attitude and gratitude and getting to the

4:20 place where you're connected with God and saying, God, lead me through the

4:24 next part of my life, you know, just like Moses was saying,

4:27 you know, I'm not going to move forward because you know, you've done

4:30 amazing things in the past. I'm going to move forward only when your presence

4:33 comes with me. And I'm going to make that my wow that I'm saying,

4:36 God, I want your presence to lead me. I want to be

4:40 led by the Holy Spirit of God. You know, personally, one of

4:43 my things that I'm praying earnestly and the Lord has been leading me and stirring

4:46 in my spirit, is to lean on God more, to be led by

4:50 the Spirit more. And I guess for the last couple of months, it's

4:56 been more mechanical for me. And my life has been so ectic with the

5:00 full time job and the ministry, the daily podcast, the YouTube channel,

5:02 and in social media and other aspects of the ministry and personal life, everything

5:08 couples together. It's been more mechanical, like, oh, I need to

5:10 get this done. I need to get this done. It's been that way

5:13 for the last you know, a couple of months. And alongside battling you

5:16 know, my own personal issues, you know, like depression that attacks me

5:21 every other time, and you know, so many other things that you know.

5:26 The reason I want to be open is to tell you, guys,

5:28 you know, the one speaking to you is as real as you are.

5:31 You know that's what I want to be. I want to be as real

5:34 to you. I don't want to put myself in a high pedestal saying hey,

5:38 listen, you know I'm so great. You know you have to listen

5:42 to me. I'm not speaking from that place. I'm speaking from a place

5:45 of humility where I'm saying God, guys, listen. You know I go

5:47 through struggles and God has led me, and this is what I am making

5:50 as my personal thing. When i'm God, help me to look heal to

5:55 your Holy Spirit even more in the next part of the year. You know,

5:58 every message, let it come from a place with the Holy Spirit ministers

6:01 to every single person listening, watching, how many of our people are watching

6:04 or listening, it doesn't matter. Let lives be touched on her. So

6:08 that's that's my prayer. When I come from a place. I don't do

6:12 it mechanical, but I'm doing it from a place where I depend on God

6:15 more and on on a personal life. I want you guys to also introspect.

6:19 What are some changes you need to make. Maybe you made a vow

6:23 to maybe get into fitness or you know, a lot of people do that

6:28 right at the start of the year, maybe on a diet or go to

6:31 the gym, taking care of the physical body. But maybe your lifestyle just

6:35 went bad. You know, maybe this is like a wakeup call for you

6:40 to say, let me review my year and half of the year and then

6:44 so that I can make amends, so that at least I finished this year

6:47 in a better half way than I was in the middle of the year.

6:50 Right, you get what I'm saying. So I encourage you guys to get

6:54 to that place where maybe physically or maybe your walk with the Lord is not

6:58 at its best and you need to, you know, grow consistently in the

7:02 Lord, spending time at this feed and feed on his word, whatever be

7:08 it. I pray that you get to the place where you depend on him

7:11 more, when you look up to the Lord more right and or even emotionally

7:16 or financially, or maybe you need to take your work more seriously, be

7:23 a person of integrity and excellence, whatever it is, I pray that you

7:27 introspect yourself and say, you know what, this is the ideal line own?

7:30 I know we're not. You're all human beings, weak, fall and

7:33 all of that stuff. But where are areas? Ask the lot to show

7:38 you areas where you need to improve, where you're deviated to a greater degree

7:42 that can need to a lot of challenges. So get to that place.

7:45 Maybe it's your finance you're spending habits, or maybe it's your relationships the way

7:49 you treat people, or maybe it's your time. How do you spend your

7:54 time? Whatever it is, Let this episode remind you guys to get to

7:58 the place where you depend on Him and say, God, show me areas

8:01 I want to improve and so that I will get back on track. So

8:05 today I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for those who are listening

8:09 from anywhere you're listening from, I want to pray that then the rest of

8:13 twenty twenty three will be the best of twenty twenty three. Whatever happened you

8:18 know, whether it was good or bad in the first part of this year,

8:22 thank the Lord and move forward into the next part of this year believing

8:26 in Him, trusting in Him being the best that you can be with this

8:31 help and depending on Him, and I believe that God will show up and

8:35 every promise He promised over you, over this here is going to come to

8:39 pass in your life. In Jesus name, I pray a man, God
