0:53 to talk to today about stop getting the Lord. A lot of people today

0:58 are cattying this Lord of their life. They're just saying, you know what,

1:03 I need to succeed. I need to make it through life. I

1:04 need to do this. I need to get this done. I need to

1:07 find a job, I need to find the right person, I need to

1:10 settle down. And they can't even load of oh, I need to pay

1:14 the bills. I need to do this. I need to do that as

1:15 if they are the ones or running the life. Now. I've shared this

1:19 so many times, but I wanted to re entreat and remind you guys that

1:23 you're not the one running your life. You're not the one keeping a life.

1:26 In part, it is the Lord. It is the Lord. I

1:29 want to share a few scriptures and I want to take this forward. And

1:32 first of all, I want you to understand what the Bible says Galatians three,

1:36 verse twenty nine, and it says, if you belong to Christ,

1:41 then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise. Okay, if

1:47 you belong to Christ, now you're the true child of Abraham. Another translation,

1:51 Enalty says you are a true child of Abraham. You are his hairs,

1:56 and God's promise to Abraham belongs to you. So because of what Jesus

2:00 did on the cross of Calvary, because of the fact that we belong to

2:04 Christ. And today, if you don't belong to Christ, I pray that

2:07 this world will bless you and make you get to the place where you say,

2:10 yes, I want to belong to Christ. I want Jesus and I

2:14 accept him as my Lord and savior. But here's the thing. If when

2:17 you say that you belong to Christ, here's a promise. Allow how the

2:21 Enalty is saying. It says you are the true children of Abraham. I

2:24 don't care what the people say. I don't care what other people say.

2:28 I don't care what your circumstances say. I don't care what your bank account

2:31 says. You are a true child of Abraham. And you know what,

2:35 the Bible is saying, you are his heirs and God's promise to Abraham belongs

2:39 to you. Okay. I want to establish that before going to Abraham,

2:45 because a lot of people the minute you quote scriptures from the promises God gave

2:49 to Abraham, the covenant God gave to Abraham, people say, oh,

2:52 you know what that is Old Testament, That is Abraham. That is not

2:54 for me. Nor Bible is saying this. The Word of God is saying.

2:58 The New Testament is saying. Elations is in the New Testament for your

3:01 kind of information. And the New Testament is telling you that because of what

3:06 Jesus did on the cross of Calvary, the promises of Abraham belonged to you.

3:10 Amen. So in that context, I want to share something with you

3:15 guys. And it's so powerful when you look at Genesis chap Twelve, where

3:17 the Lord is speaking to Abraham. And the Lord said to Abraham, it's

3:23 not just he's sending a messenger. It's not God, you know, giving

3:27 a vision, not a dream. This was the Lord himself. And I

3:30 want you to understand. This is the Lord himself. And you know that

3:34 you can count on the word of God. You know that you can count

3:37 on the promises of God. You know that heaven and that it will fade

3:39 away, but God's word will remain forever. And here is the word that

3:44 you can stand on and bank on. Where the Lord himself said to Abraham,

3:47 and he's giving this promise from words too. He says, I will

3:51 make you into a great nation, and I will bless you. I will

3:54 make him name great. You will be a blessing. I will bless you,

3:59 bless those bless you, and curse those who curse you, and all

4:01 the people on earth will be blessed through you. I want you to get

4:08 this into your spirit. Yes, there are so many promises you've been meaning

4:12 on. Maybe for promises in terms of your prosperity, maybe in terms of

4:15 your financial status. Maybe promises with regard to your personal life, maybe a

4:19 goal your ministry or carrier. Maybe promises from God with regard to a turnaround

4:24 in your life, a family member who needs to get changed or transformed or

4:28 come to the knowledge of salvation. Or maybe you're praying for an addiction to

4:31 be broken. Maybe you're praying for allowed one to come back on track,

4:34 maybe you're praying for her. Maybe a sickness that you are dealing with,

4:38 a mountain in front of you, or a promise that you've been meaning on

4:41 the law to unleash all your life. And here's the thing I want you

4:44 to understand. The Bible is saying I will make you a great nation,

4:49 and I will bless you. I will make your name great. If you

4:53 look at some other translations, it says I will make a name famous.

4:56 So if you've been praying the God will bring you fame, you know,

5:00 I personally believe that there's nothing wrong with fame. That people have this wrong

5:04 reconception that you know, if you are asking for fame that means it's wrong.

5:08 No, that's not wrong. That's a blessing that God gives and and

5:12 you can use that fame. You can use that influence to be a greater

5:15 impact for the glory of God. So you know, whatever the Lord has

5:18 been putting in your heart maybe um, you know, to be a blessing

5:21 to other people, to be uh, you know, multiply and you know,

5:26 flourish for the glory of God. And God is saying you will be

5:28 a blessing and I will bless you. Know what I want you, guys

5:32 to focus on is God is not saying, you know, I'll be with

5:36 you, but you go and start a great nation. You will go and

5:43 make yourself famous. You know, if you're going after fame, if you're

5:46 going after riches, if you're going after possessions and going after your dreams,

5:50 then it's a problem. But if if you look at the Bible, what

5:55 is the Bible saying. Bible is very clear and saying to you. But

5:58 God is saying, I will do this for you. I will do this.

6:01 You're not doing it, guys. God is promising that he wants to

6:05 do this over you. God is doing this. Is as, I will

6:09 make you a great nation. I will bless you, I will make your

6:13 name famous. I will make sure that you're a blessing. I will bless

6:16 you those who bless you. God. Does that tell you it's not your

6:23 running your life. God is going to run your life. God's promises will

6:28 come to pass in your life when God makes it happen, not you trying

6:30 to make it happen. Now, I'm all inform messages. You guys know

6:34 I always look for balance, right, I all share this so many times.

6:38 But I say, you know you need to do your part. You

6:40 need to walk in accordance to what God has called you to do. You

6:43 can't go in the opposite direction of what God has called you and expect to

6:46 see a miracle. Even here, you see God give the words. If

6:49 you look at worst one, God is saying, go from your country,

6:54 your people. And so there was a role that God specifically gave to Abraham,

6:58 saying I'm only to leave this place. So you know that there is

7:00 a place you need to understand. When God gives you a specific instruction go

7:03 from this place, do this or do that. You know you need to

7:08 do that. There's a role for you to play in accordance to the faith

7:11 that you have in God. But God is saying, it's not up to

7:15 you to make those promises come to pass. It's in my hands. You

7:19 can't make yourself get a job. God is the one who's getting your job.

7:24 He's the one who will keep you. You can try hard and get

7:28 something, but it's not going to be the best. When you wait on

7:30 the Lord, it's going to be the best. When you wait for God's

7:33 promises, it's going to exceed your expectations. It's going to be so awesome

7:39 that you're going to say, wow, I never saw this coming. I

7:43 want you to believe today. Today, I want to pray that every Lord

7:46 of in you that you're carrying the Lord of Oh, you know, I

7:49 need to settle down. I need to do this. I need to get

7:53 this done. I need to succeed. I need to fulfill this. I

7:56 pray that the Lord will be taken off in the name of Jesus, Every

8:00 Lord be removed. I release this word over those who are listening. Every

8:05 Lord be removed. And I pray that you will experience that touched from the

8:09 Lord to come to the place of you know, knowing that you're not the

8:16 one running your life. Goddess, and he knows what is best for you.

8:20 He knows what you need when you need it, and he knows what

8:22 time to show up and give you what you need. He knows when to

8:26 give you the job, he knows when to bring the right person in.

8:28 He knows when to do what, He knows when to give you the fame.

8:31 He knows when to give you the riches. He knows when to give

8:35 you what you need. Learn to trust him, and I pray that your

8:39 life will never be the same for the better A man, God bless you.
