that just caught my attention from Luke chapter one, and I just wanted to

share with this with you guys. And I think this is going to be

such a powerful word that you can inculcate and introspect with regard to your faith

level upon the Lord. Yes, we all say, yes, I trust

the Lord. I have faith, I have hope and confidence that my God

is going to be faithful to his word, his promises. And different areas

in your life you may be praying and reading on the Lord for certain things

and I wanted to share this comparison with you. I think many many months

ago I shared one segment of this where I shared about how this chapter is

talking about two different cases of in the impossible happening with regard to getting a

baby. You know, it talks about Zachariah and Elizabeth giving birth to a

baby at a very old age. Right, they were too old and they

were barren, and there was some mission impossible, but God did the impossible,

and there was this baby that is John, the forerunner of Jesus Christ.

And there's also maybe in the same chapter I mentioned Mary's case was it

was too early for her to get a child, you know what I mean.

She was like, I'm not even got married. How am I going

to get a child? You know? So one was too old and the

other was too early. You know, I'm not saying too young, because

she was in the right time. But the thing is it was early,

even before you know, the wedding ceremony had got done, or even before

anything happened, you know, she was going to get a child. So

what you need to understand here is that one example of being too old and

the other being too early. But you see, when God says He's going

to make it happen. It doesn't matter whether it's old or early or late,

because God's time is the best time, you know. In the same

chapter, you see that one person gets it early and the other person gets

it late, which means that just because somebody else already got the miracle and

they're saying that you know what you're not yet got it, doesn't mean that

you're not going to get it. Because God's timing is different from different people.

God's wigs are different for different people, and you need to be okay

to understand and have that maturity to believe in that. But I want to

talk about something very important here. When this angel, same angel visits Zachariah

and Mary okay, telling about this new this child that they're going to get.

And when the angel came and told Zachariah that you're going to get a

child, Zakaria said to the angel in verse eighteen, Okay, how can

I be sure this will happen? He says, how can I be sure

this will happen? Now? When you look at the message version, he's

asking, do you expect me to believe this? I'm an old man and

my wife is an old woman? Okay? In other translations. Also,

he goes on to say, how how can I rely on this? How

can I be confident in the word that you say? How how can I

believe in this? How are you sure it's going to happen? Because I'm

an old man and my life is also well along in yours. So when

he gets this word, he's saying, how can I be sure this is

gonna happen? Right? And then the angel says, I'm standing in the

presence of the Lord, and because you did not believe, okay, verse

twenty, since you didn't believe what I said, you'll be silent and unable

to speak until the child is born. So you see, when Zachariah gets

this word, he does not believe in this word, and he's saying,

how is this even impossible? You really expect me to believe in this?

This is not going to happen. So he was approaching this from a place

of unbelief. Okay, But if you look at Mary, because this was

something that really caught my attention. When the same angel comes to Mary and

gives the word saying you're gonna bear a child, and in verse thirty four,

Mary asked the angel, but how can this happen for I am a

virgin, The question seemed very similar. You see, Zacharia is saying,

how can I be sure that this will happen? Whereas many saying how can

this happen? I'm a virgin? If you look at different translations, he

says, you know, I'm not even married, I'm not knowing a man.

How is this gonna even be possible? And I was like, but

in Mayy's case, God the Angel did not say, you know, I'm

gonna shut your mouth, You're not going to speak till you get your child.

You know that was not the case. Then why for Zachariah the angel

had to say, you know you will not be able to speak. See

first things, First, you need to understand God's ways are different for different

people. But at the same time you need to understand look at Zachariah.

Zachariah's question was not but how is this gonna happen? Like you know,

he was not asking that. The question that Zachariah asks is how do you

expect me to believe you? How can I be sure? He was coming

from a place of unbelief, where as many ask Mary maybe not also just

say oh okay, I believe it. She also had questions, but she

asked in a way where she had that belief. She said, how can

this happen? Like out of a place of curiosity. What you understand is,

see God is not against you asking questions, but he's asking you.

Are you going to ask this question from a place of unbelief where you're going

to speak more death. Maybe he did not go around saying, you know

what, it's not going to happen, whereas this man was saying, I'm

an old man, my wife is also old. There's no way it's going

to happen. He was talking about the reality, and he was constantly talking

about how dead the situation was. And you remember life in that are in

the part of the tongue, and you know some people are always speaking death

over their situation. So in that case, you see the intellect to shut

them out of Zachariah from speaking more death into his situation. Whereas you look

at Mary, she also has the question, but she asked from a place

of Okay, you know what, what you're saying is nice, but how

is this going to happen from a place of you know, like information,

not from a place of doubt. Not from place. How can I be

sure this is going to happen? And then the angel replied, the Holy

Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most I will overshadow you,

so the baby bond will be holy, you know, and goes on

to talk about this, and here's the thing I want you to understand.

In verse thirty eight, Mary responded, I'm the Lord's servant. May everything

you have said about me come true? And then the angel left her.

So and then it goes on to talk about how Mary goes and visits Elizabeth,

right, And here's a powerful word in verse forty five where Elizabeth looks

at Mary and says, you are blessed because you believe that the Lord would

do what he's said. You are blessed because you believed that the Lord would

do what he said, which is giving us the answer to this where Elizabeth

is saying, you are blessed because you believed, Okay, I'm reading from

the NLTY version, right, believe that the Lord would do what he said

he would do. Whereas when you look at Zechariah, he said, how

can I be sure this is going to happen? You guys have to understand

this important truth today, right today, the Lord has given you word.

Maybe he has spoken to you, is shown you visions, he has shown

you dreams. He is spoken to you through different words or word of prophecies,

or maybe through you know, through the scripture or different ways. The

Lord must have spoken to you and put certain things in your spirit. And

you know this is what the Lord has been saying. But my question to

you, each one of you is this. Are you approaching it from a

place of you know, how do I believe this? Or from a place

of God? How is this going to happen? Like both of them had

questions, but from a place of how do I believe this? To a

place of God? How is this going to happen? Help me to believe?

And when you look at Mary, Elizabeth is saying you are blessed because

you believe that the Lord would do it. Today I'm asking you, do

you believe that the Lord will do what he has promised over you? Or

are you questioning and saying how do you expect me to believe this? How

do you expect me to trust in God? How do you expect me to

stand firm? How do you expect me to see this miracle come? To

pass. Today. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, that anything

that is stopping you from believing today, let it be the day that you

come to a place like Mary and say, God, help me, help

me to believe. And just like Mary, I want to say, I

belong to you God. May everything you have said about me come true.

This is what she said. Investeddiate that everything you said about me come true.

And God would bless you because you believe. When you believe with all

your heart and say I believe in your word, I'm sure God is going
