0:53 one of the things that a lot of people say is, you know

0:55 what, remember Fay you came from. Remember your humble beginnings, Remember all

1:02 the struggles you went through, and that will keep you humble. And people

1:04 use this as a key or a tool to stay humble. In the motivational

1:08 world, especially or even Christians who do not know this principle often say,

1:14 remember where you came from, don't forget you know the struggles of the past,

1:17 and stay humble, stay grounded, and so on and so forth.

1:21 But I'm going to share a scripture with you and I want to take this

1:23 forward because I believe this is so powerful an important principle to know it from

1:29 Guternomy, Chapter eight, verse two, and this is what the Lord is

1:32 saying. I want to read from the Enemy version first, and this is

1:34 what it says. Remember how the Lord your God led you in all the

1:38 way in the wilderness these forty years to humble and test you in order to

1:46 know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commandments.

1:52 If you look at the Nulty version, it says very similarly. It

1:55 says, remember how the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for these

1:57 forty years, humble you and testing you to prove your character and to find

2:02 out whether or not you would obey his commandments. You have to understand something

2:07 here the scriptures talking about you know, remember how the Lord let you.

2:13 Remember how the Lord took you through, Remember how the Lord made a way

2:16 for you. Remember how the Lord you know, took you through this process

2:22 which made you stay humble, and to test you to bring out what is

2:28 in you, the character that you hold. What I want you to understand

2:32 is it's not for you to just remember those good old days or remember your

2:37 struggles or remember your past, remember what you went through, remember your humble

2:40 beginnings. But God is saying remember how the Lord took you through. You

2:45 See, guys, one of the important things is if you want to stay

2:49 grounded, if you want to stay humble, always involve the Lord. Because

2:53 if you say, I can be humble on my own, many times we

2:55 as a human being, we can fall, we can make mistake, we

3:00 can tend to depend on ourselves, depend on the flesh, and end up

3:04 becoming prideful. Today I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. You know

3:07 the scriptures very clear pride comes before destruction, and today I don't want any

3:12 of us to get to the place of destruction because of our pride. And

3:15 I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that today you will stay humble.

3:19 What you have today, it's not because of you. It's because of how

3:22 the Lord has led you. You where you are today. It's not just

3:25 because you put in a lot of hard work. It's because the Lord gave

3:29 you success in whatever you did. It's not because of you. Know,

3:31 all the amazing things that you just happened to just happen to receive by chance.

3:37 You know it is because of the hand of God, the mercy of

3:39 God, the grace of God, the favor of God. Today, if

3:43 you want to stay humble, I'm telling you you need to remember how the

3:46 Lord has led you through. If not for the grace of God, if

3:50 not for the mercy of God, if not for the goodness of God,

3:53 you would not be getting the benefits that you have today and today. I'm

3:57 telling you you know illow how the Scripture says. In the Book of Corinthians,

4:00 the apostle Paul said, I am what I am by the grace of

4:02 God. Today. I want you to get to that place where you understand

4:06 that where you are today, what do you have accomplished today? Where you

4:11 stand today is not by your own is not by your mind, is not

4:15 by you or your success, your skills, your good deeds and your good

4:19 intentions and all your hard work alone. It is nothing but the hand of

4:24 God upon your life. Today. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ

4:28 that this world will strengthen you and remind you and challenge you to get to

4:31 that place where you trust in the Lord and depend on Him and say,

4:34 God, help me to stay humble, Help me to depend on you.

4:38 Help me to remember you and say where I am today is not by my

4:42 own but because of your good deeds, your hand, your leading, and

4:46 your guidance and your protection and your favor and power over my life. Lord,

4:49 I pray for that in the name of Jesus, that you will give

4:53 each one of us to straight, to stay humble and be me, because

4:58 it is when we are you see your leading, and see you take us

5:03 places we can all go on unhorned. Emn God piss you. You've been
