0:53 to just let you know that sometimes when you go through life, you may

0:56 feel like nobody's good to you. You are always going through moments when you're

1:00 not experiencing, you know, people's help, or you're not able to get

1:06 anything from people. You're not never on the receiving hand. You're going out

1:08 of the way helping people. You're going out of the way to be a

1:11 blessing to other people. But some way down the line you realize that it's

1:15 always like you're giving, giving, giving, but there's no receiving. You

1:19 know what I mean? It's always in that kind of a scenario where you

1:23 feel, like John, you said that I have the favor of God,

1:26 where the right people will you know, be attached to me, or like

1:29 me, or will support me cling on to me. But I'm not seeing

1:33 that happen in my life. But I just want to share the description and

1:36 I want to encourage you today. And this is found in Acts twenty eighth,

1:40 where there's a moment when they're washed into this island of Malta. I

1:46 encourage you to check out this particular passage from Max twenty seven and twenty eight

1:51 to understand the context of this, because I want to just quickly dive into

1:55 the point where they've just been washed into this island of Malta, the entire

2:00 crew and along with Apostle Paul and all of them. And but I really

2:05 loved what Acts twenty eight was. Two says from the NIV version, it

2:09 says the Islanders showed us unusual kindness. The Islanders showed us unusual kindness.

2:17 Nalty says that they were very kind to us, and some of their translations

2:23 say that they showed us extraordinary kindness. And there's something else says very similar

2:30 that it was not just the ordinary kindness that they showed. So and and

2:35 even if you look at the message version, it says that the natives went

2:40 out of their way to be friendly to us. What I want you to

2:46 understand is you when you go through life, we go through storms, we

2:50 go through struggles, we go through moments when we really need somebody to help

2:53 us stand by us. Here it says that totally perfect strangers who have no

3:01 idea who these people are, are coming and showing unusual kindness. Of all

3:09 the places they all washed into where they just let go, and the ship

3:15 goes into this place called Malta, which was again but divine, you know,

3:21 orchestration, because it is God who directed, even though we don't see

3:25 it in person. Sometimes your life may seem like there's nothing happening, you're

3:30 not able to control. It is just the storm taking it. But God

3:34 is still in control to lead you to the right place. And the storm

3:37 led them to Malta. God used the storm to do that. And here's

3:43 the thing I want you to understand. They go to the right place,

3:46 the right people who will show that unusual kindness, who went out of the

3:50 way to be nice to them. What I want do you guys understand is

3:53 in your life. Even if you do feel like you know what John,

3:58 Nobody's showing up in my life at the right a point of time when you

4:00 need the most. God is still in control, and He's going to ensure

4:03 that you get to moments when you experience that unusual kindness, when you get

4:09 to moments when you are getting into the right place with the right people and

4:13 the right people who are going out of the way to help you, out

4:15 of the way, to show kindness to you, out of the way,

4:18 to show that extraordinary, out of the way kind of a friendliness towards you,

4:24 who really mean well, you want to take care of you. The

4:27 barble goes on to talk about what they did. They kindled the fire,

4:30 and they welcomed all of them because it was cold and it was rainy.

4:32 I want you to understand, when you are going through the storm, when

4:35 you are going through your lowest moments, you're not alone. God is on

4:39 the throne. God knows what you need if you're in your lowest of moments.

4:43 He knows that you need somebody to cheer you up when you are in

4:46 the lonely moments. He knows that you know what somebody needs to encourage you

4:49 when you're going through moments when you feel like there's nobody by your side,

4:53 or you feel like you know, I really need some help. I really

4:57 need some help God to sing. I'm going to show that I'm still in

5:03 control by leading you to the right place by the right people who are going

5:10 to show that extraordinary kindness over your life. And that is going to encourage

5:15 you, and that's going to be the sign for you to know God is

5:17 faithful and he's still in control and he knows what he's doing with your life.
