Tops when he wants to speak to us and he wants to lead us and guide us and every step along the way, that is something that most of us would desire. Most of us would say, Yes, I don't want to just go on my own way. I want the law to lead me, direct my steps. I want to walk in the spirit. I want to see that the Spirit of God is directing me, leading me, cudding me, empowering me, teaching me.

1:18 And I want to go in that direction. But one of the biggest hurdles that we face is the fact that sometimes you know, our own mind, our own reasoning, our own you know, this intellectual capabilities come along and become a hurdle for us. You know. See, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying be stupid. I'm not saying do something. You know, like since people go the other extreme where they just do something terribly wrong and stupid without getting godly counsel, without thinking, you know, or using the senses that God has given them, in spite of the red flags that God is throwing.

1:53 They're just blindly saying, you know, I think this is God, and they just go and then they get into trouble and then they put God in a bad spot. That's another extreme. But at the same time you need to understand that, you know, when you walk by faith, that's the kind of life that God wants us to live, right, you know, it's impossible to please God without faith, and it's all the Bible also say walk by faith and not by sight. Don't go by what you see, don't go by what you feel, don't go by the logical senses, but go to a place where when you know this is what the Lord is asking you to do trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding problems up to three verse five and six.

2:28 Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct yourselfs. This is something that needs to be our part and parcel of our life. A lot of people, without a doubt know the Scripture. They don't. They have probably memorize this so many times, maybe all through Sunday school or wherever you learned all of these things. But some of you know it, but in reality does it not your life. I know a lot of people who keep arguing and you know, waste all the time and energy and debates and all of those things where they're like, you know what, they just completely neglect the aspect of faith, and their entire life is all about their own intellectual being.

3:04 It's all about their reasoning and their logic. Kind of where you get apologetics and all of these things from. Okay, I'll tell you what. There is a place for apologetics, There is a place for reasoning and logic and all of those things. But by the end of the day, you need to understand that. You know, when God asks you to do something, you need to get to a place where you just switch off your mind. I just say this very respectfully. Don't get me wrong, but when God asks you to do something, I'll give you an example.

3:31 Right when you look at our father of a faith, Abraham, and I'm reading to you from the amplified Classic version of Hebrews eleven, was saying, this is what it says, urged on by faith, Abraham when he was called, obeyed and went forth to a place which he was destined to receive us an inheritance. And he went although he did not know or trouble his mind about where he was going. The Bible is very clear he did not know where he was going, and he did not even trouble is mind about it. You know. In other words, you need to understand when God is leading you or directing your steps, there's a place you go to where you switch off your mind.

4:09 You don't trouble your mind. You even if it doesn't make sense in the natural, just forget about it. Follow what God is asking you to do. You have to get to the place of absolute trust in the Lord, absolute reliance and confidence knowing that you know what, I'm not going to lean on my own understanding I'm not going to lean on my own wisdom. I'm not going to lean on my own experience. I'm not going to lean on my own, you know, intellectual capability because I get to that place where I trust in the Lord with all my heart, with all my mind, with all my soul.

4:41 Can you get to a place where you trust God so much? And I'm not preaching to you from a place of theory now. When the Lord asked me to start the International Ministry, John Gifts International Ministries where the Race of God. In about two to three weeks from now, we're going to can uh, you know, come to the eleventh anniversary of the ministry. Eleven years of the ministry. And right on day one when the Lord said start in international Ministry, I took it by faith and I called it John Gift International.

5:12 Right on day one. I didn't even trouble my mind about it. People laugh, people more, people said call it international after it becomes international. But that's not faith. Anybody can do that. Faith is calling it what God says it is even before it has become a reality. Because that is the level of faith and trust I have on what the Lord has spoken. That is the level of faith. I'm asking you to go to a place where when God has spoken it, even if there is no sign of it, have faith because when God says it is, it is already done.

5:45 You may take some time for it to become a reality, but you have to get to that place where you know what, I'm not going to trouble my mind. People said all sorts of things to discourage. There's Christians people even in like ministrial positions, they say, Ah, it's not international, it's not going to be international. You just think this, blah blah blah blah blah. People can say all sorts of things to discourage. People can say all sorts of things to keep you down. People may say, are you sure you heard God?

6:18 People may say, you know, like a lot of naysayers and critics and all of these things. Over the years, I've faced and I've seen all of those things, and I can tell you this. You know, Abraham could have felt the same. His own family members could have said, hey, you have everything here, man, why are you leaving and going to this unknown God? Because Abraham's family they were they were actually moon worshipers. They didn't know the true living God. Abraham was the first one who actually came to know the true living God, so he could have had that pressure.

6:48 Where are you going? I do know, Oh you're stupid, you're dumb, But can you get to that place where even though people laugh at you market you, you still say, I'm going to follow what God has asked me to do. I'm going to go after the things God has put in my heart because I know that He is faithful, the one who has called me. I'm going to walk by faith and not by sight. That is the level of faith. I'm asking you to go to whatever God has called you to do, wherever God is leading you, whatever it is, get to that place where when God is asking you, when God is speaking to you, just go to that place where you don't just sit and reason out.

7:31 No, I'll tell you honestly, you know I could just have sat and reasoned out you know God. You know I don't have any international contact, I don't have anything like you know. I don't have the support, I don't have the training, I don't have the finance, I don't have this. I don't have that. I can give all the reasons to God and say it's not going to work out. God, it's not going to happen. But you know, faith is taking the mind off, not troubling my mind. I don't know how it's going to happen even now.

8:00 Yes, the ministry has grown considerably compared to where it was eleven years ago, but it's not where God has shown me the level that God has shown me. And even now, I don't know how it's going to happen. And that is the sense of faith or level of you know, a degree of trust upon the Lord. You go to where you're saying, you know what, even if I don't know how it's going to happen, that's still a place where you're saying, I still trust my God because I know he's faithful. I want you to guys, to understand God's word is unchangeable.

8:33 You've God has spoken it, if God has given you the promise, if God has deposited those visions and dreams and calling upon your life, he is going to make it happen. You don't know how it's going to happen. You don't have to trouble your mind about it. He knows how to make it happen. And I pray in the name of Jesus that this word will go forth and it'll minister to each one of you and challenge you to step out of your boat and start walking by faith. Don't trouble your mind, don't let reason and logic come along the way.

9:07 Get to the place where I say, I'm going to go after what God has called me, and I'm going to go by faith. And I'm telling you right on day one, and I called it John Gifts International Everything when we were registering the organization. You know, the faith, the Lord lad in every step along the way. God has been faithful. When you go by faith, people can laugh and mock initially, but you will see the hand of God, the leading of God, the guidance of God leading you to your final destination.
