0:55 Speaker 2: So I think one of the big misconceptions of heaven

1:00 Speaker 2: is that it's somehow less real than this place. And

1:06 Speaker 2: that is the opposite of what every near death experiencer

1:10 Speaker 2: tells me. They say, no, this is the shadow, that's

1:14 Speaker 2: the real thing. And by the way, interestingly, in Hebrews

1:18 Speaker 2: chapter eight, it says that it says that that God

1:22 Speaker 2: had Moses construct the tabernacle out of something real in heaven,

1:27 Speaker 2: and the tabernacle was just a shadow a copy of

1:30 Speaker 2: the real thing in heaven. So imagine. So this is

1:34 Speaker 2: the best way, and this is what I'm trying to

1:36 Speaker 2: get people to do through the books I've written and

1:41 Speaker 2: the podcasting and all that, is to imagine heaven more accurately. Right,

1:47 Speaker 2: So imagine all the beauty, all the wonders, all the pleasurable,

1:55 Speaker 2: enjoyable experiences we've had on this earth. Well they're all

1:59 Speaker 2: We enjoy them, and they are pleasurable because God created

2:02 Speaker 2: us to be able to right. And all the beauty

2:07 Speaker 2: we see is a gift from God. And yet this

2:11 Speaker 2: world is marred. Romans chapter eight says all creation is groaning.

2:17 Speaker 2: It's laboring, like in childbirth, under the birth pangs of

2:22 Speaker 2: disease and death and famine and misfortune. You know. So

2:27 Speaker 2: sin has entered and God remains somewhat hidden, and he

2:32 Speaker 2: lets human free will rule. And as a result, we

2:38 Speaker 2: experience a tiny taste of heaven and a tiny taste

2:42 Speaker 2: of hell, and both are far greater in wonder and

2:48 Speaker 2: far greater in horror than you can imagine. So the

2:52 Speaker 2: best thing when you think about heaven is think about

2:56 Speaker 2: all the things you love here magnified. And that's what

3:02 Speaker 2: people have told me so, like doctor Mary Neil, this

3:06 Speaker 2: spine surgeon who's kayak was pinned under the waterfall. You

3:10 Speaker 2: can hear her story in the podcast as well. She said,

3:14 Speaker 2: I went from alive to even more alive, from conscious

3:20 Speaker 2: to more conscious, and several of them, doctor Neil, this

3:26 Speaker 2: Captain Dale Black, the airline pilot. I asked them at

3:29 Speaker 2: one point, I said, so, do you realize you're dead?

3:33 Speaker 2: And they both kind of chuckle and go well, at

3:36 Speaker 2: that point I kind of thought, I guess I'm dead

3:42 Speaker 2: because they didn't feel dead, they felt more alive. And

3:47 Speaker 2: Jesus said this, by the way, you know Jesus last

3:50 Speaker 2: night on Earth and John chapter fourteen, he says to

3:52 Speaker 2: his close friends, you know, I'm going to prepare a

3:56 Speaker 2: place for you. Trust in God, trust also in me.

4:00 Speaker 2: I'm going to prepare a place for you. There are

4:02 Speaker 2: many rooms in my father's home, right, and I will

4:06 Speaker 2: come and get you, and you will always be with

4:08 Speaker 2: me where I am. And Jesus said, God is not

4:10 Speaker 2: the god of the dead, He's the God of the living,

4:14 Speaker 2: right And when people so some of the commonalities when

4:20 Speaker 2: people die is they go they enter into paradise, which,

4:27 Speaker 2: by the way, your death. Experiencers say what Jesus said

4:31 Speaker 2: to the thief on the cross, today, you'll be with me.

4:33 Speaker 2: In Paradise is actually the outside the suburbs, outside the

4:39 Speaker 2: Holy City of God. It's the place most like Earth,

4:43 Speaker 2: and we many of many come there first to kind

4:48 Speaker 2: of acclimate. But it's very much like Earth. It's beauty,

4:51 Speaker 2: it's mountains, it's trees, it's streams, it's valleys, it's you know,

4:55 Speaker 2: it's water, animals, people. There are hugs. There's this great reunion,

5:02 Speaker 2: this welcoming committee, usually of friends and relatives who have

5:07 Speaker 2: died before us, and they come to us and we hug.

5:13 Speaker 2: We remember, we still have our memories, we still have

5:16 Speaker 2: our humor. We are ourselves in fact, you know, John,

5:20 Speaker 2: One of the things is just most amazing to me

5:24 Speaker 2: is how themselves people feel in the presence of Jesus

5:30 Speaker 2: or this God of Light, the Father, and they describe

5:34 Speaker 2: how in heaven you don't think of them as Father,

5:37 Speaker 2: Son and Holy Spirit. They're just one. Even though still

5:43 Speaker 2: they see Jesus and they see the Father on the throne,

5:47 Speaker 2: and they know the Holy Spirit is with them always.

5:50 Speaker 2: They experience the Trinity. But there is a there is

5:54 Speaker 2: an understanding that of there's just one God that isn't

6:00 Speaker 2: fusing there like it is here. And and the thing

6:07 Speaker 2: that they say most commonly is that it is life,

6:14 Speaker 2: but it's life without all that's wrong here. And so

6:21 Speaker 2: Jesus said all these things. He said, there's going to

6:23 Speaker 2: be responsibility. Some of you are going to govern nations.

6:28 Speaker 2: You know, you're his disciples. Are you're going to sit

6:30 Speaker 2: on twelve twelve thrones, ruling over, governing over the twelve

6:36 Speaker 2: tribes of Israel. But others are going to govern nations.

6:39 Speaker 2: Some are going to care for animals, others they're Maybe

6:42 Speaker 2: you're creative. You're going to create songs that are going

6:46 Speaker 2: to be sung in heaven. There's music that people talk

6:50 Speaker 2: about is like music on an otherworldly dimension. They talk

6:55 Speaker 2: about the colors of heaven and how vivid everything is.

6:59 Speaker 2: So it's it's like, imagine the greatest beauty you've seen

7:04 Speaker 2: on earth, but multiply it by a thousand. Color is

7:11 Speaker 2: beyond our color spectrum. Dale Black said to me, you know,

7:14 Speaker 2: we have like green and blue and red and yellow,

7:19 Speaker 2: but now take blue and imagine a thousand shades of blue,

7:27 Speaker 2: and you can see them all clearly. Vividly and that's

7:32 Speaker 2: the color spectrum. But far beyond colors we can't even

7:36 Speaker 2: describe on earth. And they consistently say this and then

7:41 Speaker 2: a life to all of nature. Interestingly, you know, Christians

7:47 Speaker 2: in America have kind of pushed away this idea of oneness, right,

7:53 Speaker 2: and that's more of a Hindu concept. But the truth is,

7:57 Speaker 2: there is truth. God is left. God has left evidence

8:02 Speaker 2: of truth all around the globe for everyone who will

8:05 Speaker 2: seek him, right. I mean even in the Vedas. I've

8:09 Speaker 2: read in the Vedas about the prush Prajapati who had

8:13 Speaker 2: come in the form of a man to die for

8:18 Speaker 2: the for the remission of karma, get off the cycle

8:22 Speaker 2: of Samsara. Well, that's salvation, right, So, I mean there

8:28 Speaker 2: are traces of the One True God everywhere.
