When Everyone Else Says No, GOD Sends the Right Person | John Giftah | Christian Sermon
Tonight's Episode
Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Giftah. In this encouraging episode from the Moses series, we explore one of the most surprising details in Moses’ story: how Pharaoh’s daughter, from the very household that sought to destroy him, became the instrument of GOD’s protection, provision, and favor. While Pharaoh’s hard heart decreed destruction, GOD used his daughter’s compassion and courage to save Moses. The story reveals how GOD masterfully orchestrates people and circumstances—even those seemingly opposed to us—to bring breakthrough and blessing.
John Giftah shares a personal testimony of GOD’s provision during a difficult job search, reflecting how GOD opens doors through the right people at the right time, even when many opportunities close.
If you feel rejected, discouraged, or stuck waiting for your breakthrough, this episode will encourage you to trust GOD’s ability to bring favor and provision from unexpected places.

Speaker 1: Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta.
Speaker 2: Hi everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John gift of podcast. All through this week we go looking at various aspects that we can take away as lessons from the life of Moses, predominantly from the first part of Exodus chapter two. One of the things I want to just address to you is how Moses is born at a time when his life is at stake, and his mom tries to protect him and puts him in a basket, and he's cruising through Nile River through a point when the princess is bathing and finds Moses, and the Bible says it so beautifully that when she saw him crying, she felt sorry for him and said, this is one of the Hebrew babies.
Speaker 2: We look at this in verse number six. So you see, even though there was this rule that her own dad, the Pharaoh, had placed, this order that all the male babies of the Hebrew family should be killed, there was this princess who had a sense of compassion. Maybe she didn't realize it about other babies, but seeing Moses, seeing the baby in front of her, maybe just softened her to a point where she felt sad for him. She felt sorry for him. See, I wanted you may be living in a time when you're in a very cruel place or a cruel passage through life, where you're looking at people being so evil, and many people are just living a selfish life they don't care and all of that.
Speaker 2: But I want to tell you something. When you are having a purpose and when you're determined to fulfill God's plan and purpose over your life, God will cause the right people to feel sorry for you. He will cause the right people to actually stand by you, to show compassion towards you. You can't make that happen. The pharaoh made this rule that these babies should be killed, but the princess had a different heart. I don't know who needs to hear this. Sometimes you look at certain people and you just write them off, saying, oh, they're all bad, they're all evil, they don't understand, they don't care.
Speaker 2: But can I tell you something. Maybe the pharaoh is evil, but maybe there is a princess that God has who has a tender heart. Maybe the pharaoh was heart heartened, but maybe there is a princess that God is going to bring into your life who his kind hearted, whose heart is softened. I want you to believe that God has somebody special, something special. He's going to make the right people to show kindness to ARUs you, compassion towards you, to be generous to you, to sow into your key, you your vision.
Speaker 2: He's going to make this happen so that you will be able to fulfill your purpose. And what's interesting is that she goes on right, and Moses' sister comes to the pharaoh's daughter and says, shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you? Now think about this. She could have said hey, you know what, who are you? I'm sorry, this is not your business. I'll take care of the baby, or I look for someone. And I don't know you what if this is some scheme. But here's the thing. She says, yes, go see, I wanted to understand that God will cause the right people to trust you or to be favorable towards you, to be kind to you, and goes on to say something very powerful.
Speaker 2: So the girl that is Moses' sister gets the baby's mother that is moses his mom, and pharaoh's daughter says to her, take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you. So the woman took the baby and nursed him. When the child grew older, she took him to the pharaoh's daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses because he was drawn out of the water. Now think about this man, This is so powerful, This is so powerful. You can't make this happen. You cannot plan this because this is so powerful, because you can't make somebody to come and pay for you.
Speaker 2: Like the pharaoh was such an hard arted man, but his own daughter was so soft hearted, and to a point where she says, you know what, not only is she compassionate, not only is she feeling sorry for Moses. What is she saying? She's giving an opportunity for Moses's own mother to take care of Moses, and she's going to pay for it. You can't make this up. I don't know who needs to hear this word. You're looking at your life and you're feeling like, oh my gosh, my vision that God has for me is so big.
Speaker 2: I do not know when I'm going to get the funds. Well, maybe your enemy is going to pay for you. Maybe the people that you thought who will actually be against your calling are the ones we're going to say. You know what, I don't know why, but the Lord is telling me to stand for you. The Lord is leading me to support you. The Lord is leading me to pay for this particular thing. I'm telling you today that every wish that you have, God will give you the provision everything that the Lord needs you to do.
Speaker 2: He will enable you to do the right people standing by you, the right support system for you. The people who are meant to actually kill you and harm you and sabotage the plan of God away your life will actually end up supporting the plan of God over your life. That's how God can turn things around. These are some beautiful lessons from the life of Moses. We've looked at the last couple of days, and I really really challenge you to go deep and say, Holy Spirit, I want these words to go into me, into my spirit and to make a difference of God, because I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that these words will go for it and encourage you in your time of need.
Speaker 2: It will bless you in a moment when you're feeling like, oh my gosh, John, I do not know how I'm going to make these things happen. But God is going to amaze you. God is going to make things happen in such an amazing manner that you're going to say, how did this happen? This is mission impossible. That's what the Lord is going to do. He's going to exceed your expectations. He's going to make you go from wow to Wow, Lord, You're so good. Wow, Lord, I can't believe you did this. That's the God, we sir, That's the God we sir, guys.
Speaker 2: So stop feeling bad. Stop putting yourself in a place of like, oh man, I'm just unlucky. No things may look bad, your circumstances may look bad. But God is a good God who has a good land away your life. Nobody can stop that. When you just trust him, He's going to make the right people to show kindness and compassion towards you. I want to share this quick story from my life and close. There was a moment where, due to a huge layoff season, I was in a place where I'm like, God, I do not know how I'm going to see another door opened.
Speaker 2: But the Lord was giving me visions, and you know, he was giving you promises, saying, you know, I will open the right door. No man can shut at the right time, So I knew. All I said was God, I don't want a job that will choke my calling. I want a job that will help me to fulfill my purpose. And what happened. It was a longer way than what it would have been for most people, because others were able to get quickly, but for me, I stood my ground. People said, don't be choosy, don't be lazy, don't be this, don't be that, you know, just take whatever job comes.
Speaker 2: But I said, no, I'm not going to quickly chake take a job which can choke my calling. I stood my ground. I want a job where when the person is hiring me, they will look at my credentials. The fact that I've authored multiple books, the fact that I run podcasts should not look as I should look at us. Look at it as an asset, not look at it as a life ability. So I was like, you know, you know what, even if ninety nine jobs close, it's okay. I know that the right job will open. It was hard, it was difficult, but the organization that I ended up joining, the person who was hiring was super impressed by my profile.
Speaker 2: He was like, oh my gosh, I love people who have authored books. It's my dream to connect with people who have authored books. He loves books, and he said, I can't believe I'm actually talking to an author, Like he was so impressed that it just changed everything. And I'm telling you like, it was like how God led the princess to show compassion towards Moses, the same way God led this person to show compassion and say, you know what, this is not ordinary needed. You're an asset to the organization.
Speaker 2: And long storymains short. The Lord helped me get into the right organization that has been such a blessing, and I'm grateful to God. And I want to tell you God will do the same for you as well if you're looking for a job. But I want to also encourage you today in your life that if you're feeling like things of God beyond your control, God is going to make the right people to show kindness to you to a point where you'll be like, I can't believe this. Of all people, I'm hired, Of all people, I'm getting this payment, of all people, I'm getting this attention, If all people, I'm getting this.
Speaker 2: This is nothing I can orchestrate. This is the hand of God that he will do in a real life. Amen. I really challenge you to leave a comment if you're checking this out on YouTube or Facebook and share this with someone so that they will be blessed and encouraged and I will see you back.
