discussions and interviews. You'll be inspired to live the life that you were created
for. Your host is a top ranking podcaster, best selling author, world
record holder, aerospace engineer, life coach, evangelist, and founder of John
Gifta International. Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. We're living
at time age where for the most part, people are just living all for
themselves. Whatever they can get from somebody else, whatever best advantage they can
take. It's all about themselves. It's for me and my household. If
I can get this, that's it. I don't care about you, and
I just don't bother to even you know, see if I can help you
in any way or be a blessing to you in any way. And as
a minnesoe of the Gospel's one thing I've seen time and time again a lot
of people. One of the things is I always go out of the way
help them in whatever way possible within my capacity, or sometimes I may go
overboard help people, invest in them, to connect people, to get them
opportunities, and whatever is within my reach, whatever I can do. I've
gone out through the way to help people. But one thing I've noticed is
that for the most part, I'll tell you honestly, for the most part,
I'm talking about Christians work. I'm talking even about you know, ministers
of the gospel, you know who, on the other hand, would connect
with me only if they want something, only as long as they can get
some benefit through me, and then just throw me and dubbed me at the
same time. And I would connect, you know, asking for some help
you know, or ask them to pray or anything for that matter. You
would just not be bothered about like they would be like, Okay, fine,
that's your problem. I mean, you know, and I want to
share an important word with you guys, to help you understand that that's not
the way you're supposed to be. Okay, I can give you Like there's
so many instances I've seen like where you know, people I would talk with
and you know, maybe you can share some ins like you know, there's
something that I'm praying about, something I wish could they. I know that
they can help on all of that, but they would just not put it
into their head, or they would just act like they didn't hear and never
bother. And what I've noticed here is this important truth that you know,
some people are all about receiving, receiving, receiving what can they get from
you? What can they take from you? But you have to be careful
that you don't fall prey to the same kind of a selfish life. You
know, when you look at profit Elishah from the Bible, from Second King
chapter four, there comes a moment. Elishah used to travel a lot,
and he went to this place called shoon Him and the scriptures talks about a
moment when there was a lady, a well to do lady, who urged
him to stay. And so whenever he came by, he stopped by there
to eat. This is in verse eight of Second King chapter four. And
so she says to her husband, I know this man comes very frequently,
and he's a holy man of God. Let's make a room for him in
the roof and give him a bed and a table and a chair and a
lamb for him so he can stay whenever he comes by. So the next
time Elishah came, he was so happy to hear about this, and this
is what I really allowed. He went there and he was lying down.
Verse twelve, he said to his servant GEHs and call the shunant woman,
and that lady was called Any asked her, you've gone all the way,
do all this trouble just for me, just for us? What can be
done for you? What can be done for you? Can we speak on
your behalf to the king or the commander of the army, anything at all
within my capacity, anything at all. I want to help you. And
she said I don't need any help basically, and then she comes to I
mean she she she doesn't say anything. And then Elishah comes to know through
gas that she doesn't have us son, and so he prophesies over her,
saying, by this time next day he will have a son. And miracleously
supernatural intervention and she gets a son. So the point here to notice,
Elisha could have simply said, wow, thank you so much. You're so
kind, So I'm appreciating the effort that you're put. He could have simply
said thank you and left, But he went about and asked what can I
do for you? And I'm telling you, honestly, in all my life,
even though I've gone all the way to help people, I've never seen
moments when people have come out and said even though they can do something to
help, they would never seen moments when they said what can I do for
you? They would always be like, what can I get from me?
What can I get from this? But I'm telling you, guys, you
know, we as Christians, we need to need to be in a place
where we don't just keep receiving. We need to come to a place where
we say, hey, what can I do for you? You bless me?
I need to bless you. You've been such a great blessing to the
people around I want to bless you. How can I bless you? How
can I, you know, help you in any way? Whatsoever? Can
I use my influence in some way to help you in any way? Can
I help you financially? You know what I'm trying to tell you, yours
this stop living a life for yourself. Stop living a life for yourself.
As believers, we need to be different. We need to be people who
are not just taking, taking, taking, receiving, receiving, receiving time
for you and I to also be giving. When it was the last time
you gave. It need not be just financed, it could be financed also.
But when it was the last time you gave your time, When was
the last time you gave your space, When it was the last time you
gave your emotional energy to listen to somebody, When it was the last time
you gave or invested in somebody else? Think about it. Lord, I
pray for those who are listening that you would speak to them in their hearts
in every way possible, that they would not just be people receiving receiving receiving,
they or not just be on the receiver's line within heart to just get
whatever they can and take advantage in every way possible. Will help them be
people who will give, who will go out to see what can I do
for you? How can I help you? And how can I be agreed
a blessing in Jesus name, I pray, Amen, you've been listening to

heart stops beating, now, do you know where you're going? If you
came face to face with death? Now do you know where you're going?
And this is not a message of condemnation. This is a message of hope.
There is a God who loves you so much he sent his only son
Jesus Christ to come down and pay a heavy price by shedding every drop of
his blood on the cross. Thank you for dying for my sins. When
you believe in Him, you have free gift or salvation for you that it
shows us that we will go to heaven when we die instead of suffering in
Him forever. I just encourage you today to make the simplest life of faith
and say, Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross.
Thank you for giving me this gift of eternal life.
