When You Least Expect It... | John Giftah | Christian Sermon

Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. Are you in a place in your life where you have lost all expectations and hope over your life that anything will change? And you're in a place where you're saying, I have like least expectation of anything good happening in my life. I once had the faith that God would do this or do that. I had a lot of hope. But I'm in a place, John, I just don't have that anymore. You know, I have least expectation of anything good happening at this point of time. I'm just so tired and exhausted from believing. Yes, you can be tired and exhausted of believing. You know, the scripture talks about, you know, how you can actually grow weary in doing something good, you know, in other words, believing, trusting God, keeping on doing the right thing against all odds. It is a good thing. And you can draw or grow to that place of weariness in that. And you may be in a place like that today and you're saying, I've just lost it and there's no way out for me. And you know that this is the word that the Lord is put in my spirit, and I think this is a word that some of you need to receive at this point that even if you feel like you have no expectation over your life, there seems to be no way out over your life. You know. The scriptures that the Lord drew me to was John chapter five. I know this is one of my favorite passages in the Bible, and I quote a lot from this passage. But what the Lord was reminding me of was there's a moment when there's a man who has been in this pool of betesta, this pool of pedestas where so many sick people are laying, and every now and then the Angel of the Lord would jump into the pool, and oh, we would jumped into the pool first, would get healed of whatever sickness that they had. And there was this man who had been a cripple for thirty eight years, long time, no change, long time, and all of you have seen his disappointments, and there's no sign of his miracle. And everybody else is getting their miracle, but he's not getting anything. He's not having anyone to help him. The minute somebody gets a miracle, they just leave the pool of Betesta because they don't need a miracle anymore. But they don't stay back to help someone. And he's in a place like that, and that's when Jesus steps in and Jesus asked him, do you want to get well? In verse six, Jesus saw him lying there and he learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, and he asked, you want to get well? And verse seven says, sir, I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred while I'm trying to get and someone else gets ahead of me. What I want you to understand is he was at his lowest of moments. He didn't even listen to what Jesus was saying. He didn't even understand Jesus was asking him the question. He was in. His expectation was zero at this point, He's not even having any expectation. He was at the least expectation season in his life. And today you may be in a position like that that I'm goingre to tell you God is going to show up in your life and you least expect him to. You think that this is how your life is going to be. You're just looking at all your failures, You're disappointed, your hurts, You're just sitting in that sense of self pity, the pool of self pity in your life today. But I want to decree and declare over each and every one of you that when you least expected, God is going to sit and to show up when you least expected. You think that you're just having a normal conversation with some random stranger. But that random stranger is going to be the hand of God, the key of God, the opportunity of God, the divine moment of God, when God is going to change some things in your life. And I believe decree and declare over every single one of you today that My God is still faithful. My God is still on the throne. My God is a God who's faithful to his word, even no matter how the reality looks like, even though your life seems like it's not changing, or there is no hope, there is no progress. I want you to understand that that stranger is going to step into your life and God is going to show up in a way that you never expected. In your least expected moment, you will receive your breakthrough. Jesus didn't listen to this man. He said, pick up your mat and walk. And I'm reading from d nlty version by the way, okay, and the Bible Season verse nine. At once the man was cured. I want to tell you guys, when you least expected, at once you'll see the miracle. At once, you will see the hand of God. At once, you'll see the right person stepping in. At once, you will see God's opening doorsnow one can shut.
