0:52 the things that I heard a lot of people say with regard to incidents,

0:56 when we say, see Eliza was able to do this, David was to

1:00 do this, Joseph was able to do this. Look at all of these

1:03 characters in the world of God, and when we look at them, if

1:06 they were able to do these great exploits for the glory of God, We'll

1:10 see what you can do. See how God can use you to be a

1:14 greater blessing, to talk about Him, to share about his powerful deeds,

1:19 and all of these things. The first thing people say is John, you

1:22 don't understand. I'm just a normal person. I'm not powerful like them.

1:26 I'm not walking in the spirit like them, or I'm not a superhuman like

1:30 them, and so on and so forth. And many times people make these

1:34 kind of statements where they think that the ones they read about in the Bible

1:38 are superhumans and that they are just normal humans, and you know, things

1:44 like that. But I want to share a scripture with you, and I

1:46 want to take this forward. And it is found in James chapter five,

1:49 and I'm reading to you from the Nalty version. This is what it says

1:53 in verse seventeen. This is nothing but the word of God's saying this to

1:57 you. Elijah was as human as we are are. Listen to this,

2:00 cavalier, guys, this is so beautiful. Elijah was as human as we

2:05 are. And yet when he earnestly prayed that no rain should be fall,

2:09 none fell for three and a half years. Then when he prayed again,

2:15 the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops. This

2:19 is something talking about Elijah and giving an example and saying, you know what,

2:23 Elijah was as normal as human as you and I are. This is

2:30 exactly what a lot of people needed to hear I don't know who needs to

2:32 hear this. But some of you think that you're not as you know,

2:37 great, or you're you're thinking that you're less than the ones in the Bible.

2:42 No, the Bible is clear to say this. Elijah was as human

2:46 as we are. There is there is no difference between you and Elijah.

2:52 You look up to Elijah and know a lot of people go around praying God,

2:54 you know, send the you know, give me the annoying of Elijah,

2:58 or the power of Elijah, the presence of God upon Elijah. You

3:02 know that kind of a presence or you know that kind of power, that

3:05 kind of anointing, that kind of a spirit, and all of those things.

3:07 Can I tell you something today, as children of God, we have

3:10 inherited the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead, living on the inside

3:15 of us. If Elijah was able to bring down rain from heaven, you

3:19 and I have the ability to bring down rain from heaven. I've shared with

3:23 you guys so many times, how two times I called on the Lord and

3:25 brought down rain. People thought I was crazy, but the Lord enabled me

3:30 to do that because I understood this principle. If Elijah can bring down rain

3:34 from heaven. Gift that can also bring down rain from heaven, which means

3:38 you and I, every single one of you listening to me, wherever you

3:40 are from, I want you to understand that you can bring down rain.

3:45 You have that power, that same power that Elijah had, the same power

3:50 that any other person in the Bible had. You have that power. You

3:53 know, there's a moment in the Scripture talks about in the Book of Facts

3:57 how when the apostles were walking they shared was enough to heal people of their

4:01 sickness. And even the handkerchiefs and aprons that were touched upon by the apostles

4:09 were so powerful that people were getting healed when they were just laid upon them.

4:14 And I'm telling you, guys, there are moments when I've gone to

4:16 do deliverance ministry or praying for people who are, you know, affected by

4:21 the demonic powers. And there was one there was this thing, you know,

4:26 you know some people can see demons, uh, you know, So

4:29 there was this person with whom I was going, he can see demons,

4:31 and I could I can feel demons, I could feel dements uh. And

4:36 another person that we three of us went to this place. Uh the other

4:41 person in the presence of demons, he would have a stern headache. Okay,

4:46 so all three of us have our own sense of way to discern demons,

4:50 Okay, demonic possession. And uh so this person could see demons and

4:56 I could feel And I'm telling you, guys, when I just stepped into

4:59 a all way full of demons, I could see the demons flee on either

5:03 side. I could feel them fleeing, and this other person could see them

5:08 running. And I want you to understand this. This is not something I'm

5:13 sharing just for giving you goosebumps, or you'll just tell you you know,

5:17 look who I am. I can sense the presence of demons. Not not

5:21 to boast, but I want to tell you, guys, that's the power

5:24 that you and I have. You know, the same way the Shadow was

5:28 enough to heal people and chase demons of sicknesses away from people, the same

5:33 way I've experienced moments when I walked and demons ran. And that is the

5:39 power that you and I possess. That is the power that you have today.

5:46 I want you to understand you're no lesser than the people in the Bible.

5:49 If you see people in the Bible doing a great exploits for the Kingdom

5:54 of God. Remember, you can do even greater things, you know.

5:58 One of the scriptures I love is our Jesus was shedding when he walked on

6:00 earth. He did great exploits, and he said, even greater things than

6:04 these you would do. That's the thing I wanted to say. Even greater

6:09 things than what Jesus did and he walked on earth, you and I can

6:12 do because that is the power that is available to us as believers. I

6:16 pray that you will tap into this power. I pray that you will.

6:19 You will not live a mediocre life, a normal Christian life, a nominal

6:25 Christian life. I pray that you will walk in the power of God and

6:30 be a great blessing, be a great vessel of you know, who testifies

6:36 who God is in and through your life. Amen. Today, even if

6:42 you're saying, John, I would like to go in that power. I

6:44 will love to experience it. Why don't you just make this your prayer and

6:46 say, God, help me to walk in that power. Help me to

6:51 you know, demonstrate your power in and through my life. And I believe

6:56 you know, as the scripture says again in James five or sixteen. You

7:00 know that the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful

7:05 results. This is the nulti version. Okay. So when you pray with

7:10 all your heart, with that earnestness and say you know, God, I

7:14 want to tap into this power, I'm telling you you are going to experience

7:16 that power which is going to produce wonderful results not only in your life,

7:23 but in and through your life, so that you will bring all glory to

7:26 God, build his kingdom, and share the Gospel with the lost. Amen.
