0:43 Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. Hello everyone, It's wonderful for me to join each one of you today as we step into the new here. I just want to take this time to wish you and your family are very blessed and a christ directed twenty twenty four as well. I just want to share a word that's has been in my heart concerning twenty twenty four, and I just want to share that with each one of you under the sound of my voice. I believe that you know I ask you are led by the Lord to take this word for yourself, and I believe that there's a principle from God's word, and I pray that you'll take this promise for yourself.

1:23 It's it's a verse from Osaia, chapter two, verse twenty three, and I'm reading to you from the Good News Translation because I believe this is going to be the cornerstone word for this year that the Lord has been putting in my heart for this year from my life and for the ministry and everybody connected with the ministry. And this is what God has been speaking in my heart about twenty twenty four being the year of establishment. Twenty twenty four is going to be the hear God is going to establish you.

1:52 And the Good News Word Translations is like this, I will establish my people in the land and make them prosper. Isn't that awesome? Or is saying I will establish my people in the land and make them prosper. And it goes on to say, I will show loud to those who are called unloud, and to those who are called not my people, I will say you are my people, and they will answer you are our God. Isn't that awesome. I'm going to talk about the second part maybe in the coming days, but today I want to just give you this word of encouragement where God is saying, you know what, I will establish you.

2:31 I will establish you in the land, and I will make them prosper. You know, I want you to understand this that you know sometimes we say, you know, I need to get settled, I need to be established, I need to this, I need that. But this was a word that a lot was speaking and saying, you know what, You're not the one running your life, A very familiar line that I keep saying because I believe this is something I want to get into each and every one of our lives, where we know, without without even thinking, you know that you know we're not the one running our life.

3:01 It's not your hard work that's running your life. I'm not saying don't work hard. I'm not saying and not don't have a spirit of excellence, and I know all of that place at l But what I'm saying is sometimes we think that it's our hard work that keeps us going. We think that we're the ones who are keeping on going. It's ours, it's us. We think it's all about us, and we put our confidence on our flesh. But I want to remind you that it's nothing but the grace of God. Apart from God, you can do nothing.

3:28 You know, you can't work hard if not for God's grace. You know, you won't have the strength, you won't have the mental capability, you won't be able to you know, have the you know, the health that you need. All that is nothing but the hand of God. It's the grace of God. So God is the one running your life. And God is saying, I will establish my people. I will establish you. You don't have to think about how I'm going to get established. You're not the one to established shoeing yourself. It is God who's establishing you.

3:59 And God is I will do it. It's my responsibility and I'm going to do it. I will make you prosper I will establish you in the land. Today you may be saying, John, I'm not established in this area of my life. Maybe with regard to your career, maybe with regard to a business setting, a ministry, or with regard to your dreams, your goal, your ambitions, or maybe a relationship or marriage. It could be any area where you're saying I'm not saying that. But today the Lord is encouraging you and reminding you you're not the one who's trying to make it happen.

4:29 I will make it happen. I will do it for you. I will establish you, and I will make you prosper. You're going to experience that abundance of God that's going to help you live the overflowing life so that you can be a greater blessing in this year. When you take this word and say, you know what, I'm going to take this word for myself and I'm going to say, God, you know what. I'm not going to try to make things happen, but I'm going to just heal to you. I'm going to just let the Holy Spirit lead me and guide me.

4:58 And when I just surrendered to his villa and his plan all my life, I believe that he's going to establish me. He's going to help me prosper.
