0:43 Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. Without a doubt, we all have desires, dreams, wishous promises from God that we are holding on to. Maybe there are some visions God showed you, or maybe anything under the sun that you're just looking at the lines of your passion, your ambition, your future. They're saying, John, this is something I wish would happen, this is what I've been praying about. This is what I want God to show up and show it in my life. I want to tell you something very important.

1:17 Guess what should you do when you are really passionate about something you have a deep desire to accomplish something, to see something coming through in your life. Well, I want to share this with you. The first and foremost thing that I want you to do is get to a place where you acknowledge that God can make it happen. You know, get to a place where you show God that you know what. God, I believe you can do this. See in my own life, there are areas in my life where I'm saying, God, I really wish you would do this in my life.

1:47 I really wish you would answer me in this area of my life. I want you to show up. I want you to show it. So what do I do when I'm asking God for the impossible, when I have desires that seemed too far out in the natural. The first and foremost thing I do is I say, God, I believe you can do the impossible. Get to the place where you show God that you have the faith that he can do the impossible. You know, the scripture says that according to your faith it should be done unto you. So get to a place where you say you know what.

2:15 I believe. With men, it may be impossible, but with God all things are possible. I believe that I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. I believe that you know what is There's nothing too for the Lord. The Lord's hand is not too short for him to show up and show it in my life. So what you're doing is you're taking the limits of You're saying, you know what My God can do far and beyond whatever I could ask, think or even imagine. I know that no eye is seen, no hear has hurt, or even the mind can conceive the things that God has prepared and plan for me.

2:48 So what you're doing is you're setting the stage and saying, you know what God. I believe you can do the impossible. I have the faith, and I know that you're going to honor my faith. So the first thing I want you to do is get to a place where you have the faith that God can do the impossible. The second thing is acknowledge the desires that God has given you. See, sometimes we get to a place where you say, you know what I want God's will to be done. But I want you to understand that God has hid in his will in her desires.

3:18 The scripture talks about in Philippians to thirteen that God put those longings those passions and those deep yearnings in you, so that by fulfilling them, you fulfill your purpose. Those desires that you have, those passions that you have, those wishes that you have, those deep rooted dreams that you have, are not just by accident. Joseph, then just randomly think about those dreams. God gave him those dreams. What I want you to know is the dreams that God has given you are for a purpose, for a reason.

3:51 So you get to a place where you say, God, I believe these dreams are from you. I believe that you have put these desires in me for a purpose, not for myself, not for my name, not for my glory, but so that through it all I will fulfill your purpose. I will build your kingdom. I will be able to clarify your name in and through my life. So the second thing I want you to do is acknowledge what God has shown you. Maybe is through a vision. The scripture talks about writing down your vision, because God speaks through visions.

4:22 God speaks about your future. God gives you direction or maybe through dreams like Joseph, or maybe through the desires He placed in you. And the scripture talks about how He grants the desires of your heart, so on its own. Your desires, your dreams, your visions, they're not against you, they're not against God. There are things that God has given you so that by fulfilling them, you will fulfill the purpose for which God created you. Of course, there's a place for channelizing your desires. There's a place for evil desires that you need to knock out.

4:56 That's a different message altogether. But today I want you to knowledge the desires, acknowledge them. Don't throw them out of the window, but acknowledge them and take them to the Lord. And the third thing to do is getting to that place where you say, yes, God, I believe you can do the impossible. Yes, God, these are the desires that I have. These are the dreams that you've placed me, placed in me. Can I tell you something in spite of all of that? God, not my will, but let your will be done. You see, that's the place you need to marriage the two where you say, God, you know what I wish this would happen.

5:30 I wish you would make this come to pass. I wish and I know you can do this, But God, not my will. Even if you want to do the exact opposite of what I wish for. I'm still going to say, let your will be done. That's the place I want you to go, where you say not my will. Just like Jesus said. When it comes to taking the cup, he said, God to the Father, he said, Father, if it's your will, take this cup from me. It's not that Jesus was like, you know what, I'm so happy to go die. I mean, of course he loved us, he wanted to do it, but as an individual, he didn't want it.

6:06 He said, please take this cup from me. Please, if it's your will, remove this cup from me. He prayed that three times, which meant that he was not, you know, so happy about pain and all of that stuff. Like the way he portray he was human like us, and he himself said, if it's your will, take this cup from me. But today I'm telling you he didn't say, do it as I say. He said, you know what, not my will, but let your will be done. Today I'm asking you to get to that place where you say, God, this is what my desires are, this is what I believe you can do.

6:38 But I come to that place when I say, not my will, Let your will be done when you get to that place where you surrender yourself onto the hands of God. I want to believe, decree, and declare that God will channelize your desires. You will trim off the desires that are not of him. He will take away the things that does not hold true. Do what he has promised, and he will ensure that you will step into the right path that He has for you, because He has good plans, and that plans can be seen when you couple the fact that you believe in God for the impossible and the fact that you know acknowledge your dreams, your desires, and your passions, and you say, not my will, but let your will be done.

7:25 God. I pray for those or in a place like this where they are wondering about making decisions, where they're in a place where they're dealing with their desires and they're having these questions. God, I pray that this world will remind them to get to that place where they surrender to Your will when they say, yes, God, we tell you this is what we have the faith for. We tell you this are the desires that we are hoping for. But we tell you not our will, but let your will be done. In Jesus Name, we pray Amen, God bless you.
