0:53 doubt, we all have desires, dreams, wishous promises from God that we

0:58 are holding on to. Maybe there are some visions God showed you, or

1:02 maybe anything under the sun that you're just looking at the lines of your passion,

1:06 your ambition, your future. They're saying, John, this is something

1:10 I wish would happen, this is what I've been praying about. This is

1:12 what I want God to show up and show it in my life. I

1:15 want to tell you something very important. Guess what should you do when you

1:19 are really passionate about something you have a deep desire to accomplish something, to

1:25 see something coming through in your life. Well, I want to share this

1:29 with you. The first and foremost thing that I want you to do is

1:32 get to a place where you acknowledge that God can make it happen. You

1:36 know, get to a place where you show God that you know what.

1:38 God, I believe you can do this. See in my own life,

1:42 there are areas in my life where I'm saying, God, I really wish

1:46 you would do this in my life. I really wish you would answer me

1:49 in this area of my life. I want you to show up. I

1:53 want you to show it. So what do I do when I'm asking God

1:56 for the impossible, when I have desires that seemed too far out in the

2:00 natural. The first and foremost thing I do is I say, God,

2:02 I believe you can do the impossible. Get to the place where you show

2:07 God that you have the faith that he can do the impossible. You know,

2:09 the scripture says that according to your faith it should be done unto you.

2:13 So get to a place where you say you know what. I believe.

2:16 With men, it may be impossible, but with God all things are

2:20 possible. I believe that I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens

2:23 me. I believe that you know what is There's nothing too for the Lord.

2:29 The Lord's hand is not too short for him to show up and show

2:32 it in my life. So what you're doing is you're taking the limits of

2:36 You're saying, you know what My God can do far and beyond whatever I

2:39 could ask, think or even imagine. I know that no eye is seen,

2:44 no hear has hurt, or even the mind can conceive the things that

2:46 God has prepared and plan for me. So what you're doing is you're setting

2:51 the stage and saying, you know what God. I believe you can do

2:53 the impossible. I have the faith, and I know that you're going to

2:57 honor my faith. So the first thing I want you to do is get

3:00 to a place where you have the faith that God can do the impossible.

3:04 The second thing is acknowledge the desires that God has given you. See,

3:08 sometimes we get to a place where you say, you know what I want

3:12 God's will to be done. But I want you to understand that God has

3:16 hid in his will in her desires. The scripture talks about in Philippians to

3:21 thirteen that God put those longings those passions and those deep yearnings in you,

3:28 so that by fulfilling them, you fulfill your purpose. Those desires that you

3:32 have, those passions that you have, those wishes that you have, those

3:38 deep rooted dreams that you have, are not just by accident. Joseph,

3:43 then just randomly think about those dreams. God gave him those dreams. What

3:46 I want you to know is the dreams that God has given you are for

3:50 a purpose, for a reason. So you get to a place where you

3:53 say, God, I believe these dreams are from you. I believe that

3:57 you have put these desires in me for a purpose, not for myself,

4:00 not for my name, not for my glory, but so that through it

4:04 all I will fulfill your purpose. I will build your kingdom. I will

4:09 be able to clarify your name in and through my life. So the second

4:13 thing I want you to do is acknowledge what God has shown you. Maybe

4:16 is through a vision. The scripture talks about writing down your vision, because

4:20 God speaks through visions. God speaks about your future. God gives you direction

4:26 or maybe through dreams like Joseph, or maybe through the desires He placed in

4:30 you. And the scripture talks about how He grants the desires of your heart,

4:34 so on its own. Your desires, your dreams, your visions,

4:39 they're not against you, they're not against God. There are things that God

4:45 has given you so that by fulfilling them, you will fulfill the purpose for

4:48 which God created you. Of course, there's a place for channelizing your desires.

4:54 There's a place for evil desires that you need to knock out. That's

4:57 a different message altogether. But today I want you to knowledge the desires,

5:00 acknowledge them. Don't throw them out of the window, but acknowledge them and

5:04 take them to the Lord. And the third thing to do is getting to

5:08 that place where you say, yes, God, I believe you can do

5:11 the impossible. Yes, God, these are the desires that I have.

5:14 These are the dreams that you've placed me, placed in me. Can I

5:17 tell you something in spite of all of that? God, not my will,

5:21 but let your will be done. You see, that's the place you

5:25 need to marriage the two where you say, God, you know what I

5:29 wish this would happen. I wish you would make this come to pass.

5:32 I wish and I know you can do this, But God, not my

5:35 will. Even if you want to do the exact opposite of what I wish

5:41 for. I'm still going to say, let your will be done. That's

5:44 the place I want you to go, where you say not my will.

5:47 Just like Jesus said. When it comes to taking the cup, he said,

5:53 God to the Father, he said, Father, if it's your will,

5:56 take this cup from me. It's not that Jesus was like, you

5:59 know what, I'm so happy to go die. I mean, of course

6:01 he loved us, he wanted to do it, but as an individual,

6:04 he didn't want it. He said, please take this cup from me.

6:09 Please, if it's your will, remove this cup from me. He prayed

6:12 that three times, which meant that he was not, you know, so

6:15 happy about pain and all of that stuff. Like the way he portray he

6:18 was human like us, and he himself said, if it's your will,

6:21 take this cup from me. But today I'm telling you he didn't say,

6:26 do it as I say. He said, you know what, not my

6:29 will, but let your will be done. Today I'm asking you to get

6:31 to that place where you say, God, this is what my desires are,

6:36 this is what I believe you can do. But I come to that

6:40 place when I say, not my will, Let your will be done when

6:44 you get to that place where you surrender yourself onto the hands of God.

6:47 I want to believe, decree, and declare that God will channelize your desires.

6:54 You will trim off the desires that are not of him. He will

6:57 take away the things that does not hold true. Do what he has promised,

7:01 and he will ensure that you will step into the right path that He

7:05 has for you, because He has good plans, and that plans can be

7:10 seen when you couple the fact that you believe in God for the impossible and

7:15 the fact that you know acknowledge your dreams, your desires, and your passions,

7:20 and you say, not my will, but let your will be done.

7:25 God. I pray for those or in a place like this where they

7:28 are wondering about making decisions, where they're in a place where they're dealing with

7:32 their desires and they're having these questions. God, I pray that this world

7:36 will remind them to get to that place where they surrender to Your will when

7:42 they say, yes, God, we tell you this is what we have

7:46 the faith for. We tell you this are the desires that we are hoping

7:48 for. But we tell you not our will, but let your will be
