0:53 want to talk about something I believe it is so important and the much needed

0:57 thing to talk about, especially to the of Christ. And I think that

1:00 this may be something that you need to look at and introspect your life and

1:06 look at yourself. You know, when I have been in touch and rubbing

1:10 shoulders with so many buddying ministers of the Gospel, buddying artists, buddying preachers,

1:17 ministers, you know, pastors and evangelists and all of them. You

1:22 know, one thing I've seen is this this tendency or this spirit of entitlement

1:27 among a lot of people. You know, they think that you know,

1:32 you know what, I'm in the anointed of God, I am called by

1:34 God, and you know, God spoke to me, and they're so excited

1:38 about it. There's nothing wrong in the excitement. And it may be true

1:42 that, yes, the God has called them, and God has given them

1:45 a mandate and the and the calling upon their life. That maybe people who

1:49 would really have something awesome that God wants to do and through their life,

1:53 and God has revealed it to them. But the problem is they're not mature

1:57 enough to take it in the right way as the where the Lord wants it

2:00 to do. You know, they tend to take it upon themselves as if

2:04 you know what, they're so great, and they tend to get to that

2:07 place of pride. They get to the place where they can't listen to anybody

2:14 else. They're like, you know what, they put themselves on a very

2:16 high pedestal. They think they get to a place where they have so much

2:21 of an attitude, no gratefulness for anything that God is giving them, or

2:27 her sense of you know, all the time, getting being very arrogant,

2:32 you know what I mean, a sense of arrogance and I'm selling you.

2:36 Guys have seen people who have so much of arrogance. You know, I'm

2:39 like, I always get to that place where I'm like God, no matter

2:43 where you take me, God, help me to stay humble. Please help

2:46 me to remain humble, because you need to understand that a lot of people

2:51 feel that, or they think that, or they have this idea that they're

2:54 so invincible no matter what, God is going to use them. So you

2:58 know what, they can be proud, they can mistreat other people, they

3:01 can dishonor other people, and they are just don't care. They don't walk

3:08 in loud, they're not gentle, they're not kind, they don't follow anything

3:12 that the Scripture is asking them to do. And today this is a wake

3:15 up call to you. You may not be a preacher, you may not

3:17 be a minister, but I want you to check yourself. Have you gone

3:21 to a place where you think that you're invincible, where you think that you

3:24 know what you're entitled for the blessings of the Lord they hand upon and of

3:30 God, or for special treatment upon your life. See, there is a

3:34 place for messages on identity and making people understand that you know your favor of

3:40 the Lord, you're called by God. You know you're going to stand out,

3:44 and you know all of those things are true. I'm not denying any

3:46 of that, but not from a place of arrogance where you look down on

3:51 other people, where you put down other people, where you think that you

3:54 know you can climb higher by crushing other people. No, that's not the

3:58 way you're supposed to be. You are not supposed to be proud. You

4:01 think that you know what I am great, I am this, I am

4:05 that. No, that is not the way a Christian should be. The

4:10 day you think that you are invincible is the day God is going to shut

4:15 you up and show you that he can get his job done without you.

4:18 Never get to that place of entitlement, a place where you think that you

4:25 know what you are, you know, greater than other people. If you're

4:29 filled with that pride and arrogance, you know, it's so sad. Sometimes

4:33 I know friends of mine who I know them from the beginning when they started

4:38 the ministry, and you know, they started with so much of humility,

4:42 and you know, it used to be so easy to del with and you

4:45 know, suddenly you know, there's so much of arrogance and so much of

4:51 how do I say this? You know that that you know putting down on

4:57 other people, putting down other people, and you know, thinking that you

5:00 know what the invincible, And today I pray against that in the name of

5:05 Jesus Christ. I pray that you'll get to that place where you'll introspect and

5:10 check your heart, and pray that you will remain faithful to God's called be

5:15 faithful to God, to remain humble in the name of Jesus Christ. Don't

5:23 let enclitlement fool you or make you, you know, away from staying rounded.

5:32 You know, I want to share a few scriptures with you, and

5:34 I want to close, but this is something I just wanted to share.

5:40 A couple of scriptures is reminding of of these things. You know. When

5:45 you look at Collosians three twelve, it says, therefore, has gosts chosen

5:48 people holy and dearly loud. Clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humiliately,

5:55 gentleness, and patience. Clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness,

6:01 and patience. Ephesians four too, it says, be completely humble and

6:08 gentle, be patient and bearing with one another. James four verse six it

6:15 says you know, and he gives us more grace. That's why the scripture

6:20 says God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. And James four

6:26 ten, humble yourself before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

6:30 You know. Uh, these are different scriptures. They I'm just sharing them

6:34 to remind you that, you know the sermon that I just shared, you

6:39 know, from God's word, to remind you that you need to get to

6:43 the place of humility where you are not arrogant, but you're demonstrating these qualities

6:48 of gentleness and patience and kindness and compassion. And also another scripture for Peter

6:57 Phive just give me a second. It says in first bit of PI was

7:02 five, in the same way you were younger, submit yourselves to your helders.

7:08 All of you clothe yourself with humility toward one another. Because God opposes

7:12 the proud but shows favor to the humble. Uh. You know, just

7:15 want to remind you, guys of these scriptures to remind you that, you

7:19 know, you need to get to the place of humility where you know.

7:25 Classic examples are Lucifer with the minute he put himself up and thought, you

7:29 know what he was greater than God. He wanted to lift himself higher than

7:31 grow. What happened, he went down from heaven as the one who fell

7:39 fallen angel. And also when you think about in the book of Daniel King

7:46 Nebuksa, the minute he was thinking that you know, this is the Bambalon

7:50 I built, You know he was he was so proud. And the minute

7:54 he was proud, what happened. Whatever he had was taken from him,

7:58 and he was like an animal for seven years. You know, guys,

8:01 I want you to get to that place where you'll say, God, help

8:03 me to stay humble, help me to depend on you, help me and

8:07 take away every ounce of pride and arrogance from me. And I pray against

8:13 the spirit of entitlement, pray against the spirit of pride and arrogance, and

8:22 you know, all of those negative things out of your life in the name

8:26 of Jesus, that you will be in the way that God has called you

8:31 to be according to His word. Amen, God bless you. You've been
