0:55 today. I just want to take this time to wish you and your household

0:58 a very blessed and every Christmas season, even as you're stepping into the new

1:02 year, wishing you a very amazing and a christ directed twenty twenty four as

1:07 well. I want to just share something very very important with the all of

1:11 you today, even as you're stepping into Christmas and you're just saying, John,

1:15 you know what I stepped into twenty twenty three with a lot of hope

1:18 expectations. I thought God would do this in my life. I thought He

1:22 would answer this prayer. I've been waiting for this miracle for a long period

1:25 of time. So many days, weeks, months, years, and even

1:29 decades have passed by, and I'm not seeing any progress. I'm not seeing

1:33 my dreams come to pass. I'm not seeing these promises that God deposited in

1:36 my spirit becoming a reality in my life. I'm not seeing those visions coming

1:41 to pass in any way any form. I'm not getting the provision for the

1:45 vision. I'm not getting the right people, the connections, the resources.

1:49 I'm just waiting endlessly, and I don't know here I am at the end

1:53 of twenty twenty three. You may be disappointed. You may be in a

1:56 place where you're saying, John, people I see who I'm prayed for.

1:59 People that you know who started off even later than we, They seem to

2:04 be getting ahead of me, and I don't know what's going on. Well,

2:07 I want to share something very important with you guys today. I believe

2:09 that this is a word that's going to encourage you. It's going to help

2:13 you understand that you know what the God we serve when we say that God,

2:16 not my will, but let your will be done. When we say

2:20 God, according to your will, let it should be done in my life.

2:23 When we say that we are submitting ourselves to His plan over our life,

2:28 you need to understand an important important thing, guys. Trusting God and

2:32 trusting his will and trusting his plan includes trusting his timing. God's timing is

2:39 different for different people. The way God does with somebody else is not the

2:44 way God is going to do with you. Let me give you a classic

2:46 example from Luke chapter one. When you look at Luke chapter one, it

2:51 talks about two instances. One is talking about the birth of John the Baptist,

2:57 not John Gifta. It's the Baptist and the birth of Jesus Christ.

3:02 When you look at both the instances, there's something strikingly similar. You know

3:07 what that is? When you look at both the instances, what is formed

3:14 or what is happening is there's an angel that comes and says, you're gonna

3:19 have this child. You know. When it comes to John the Baptist,

3:23 an angel appears to Zachariah the Father and says, you know what, You're

3:28 gonna have a child. And here's the thing I want you to understand,

3:31 Zachariah is saying, how is this possible? And if you look at the

3:36 same case in case of Mary, when she's still a virgin, she's yet

3:42 to get married to Joseph, an angel comes and says, you're going to

3:45 bear a child, and she says, how is this going to be possible?

3:47 A striking similarity of the same case with regard to having a child.

3:53 But what I want you to understand is in case of Zachariah and Elizabeth,

3:58 the thing is that they were too old to have a child, whereas in

4:02 case of Mary and Joseph. In this case, Joseph had not come into

4:09 the scene, they're not yet officially got married, You're still a virgin.

4:13 It seemed like she was too early to give a birth to a child.

4:16 You get what I'm saying. You see the same case with regard to getting

4:19 a child. One got it too late and the other is getting it too

4:25 early. What I want you to understand is God's timing is different for different

4:29 people. You cannot put a timeline and time frame and put it in the

4:33 way the society expects and says, this is the time for you to get

4:36 this, This is the time for you to get settled. This is the

4:40 time for you to meet the right person. This is the time for you

4:43 to get this done with. You need to be in this level in regard

4:46 to your career. You have to get married, you have to have kids,

4:48 you have to get your own job. You know, we look at

4:51 society and think that everything should go like a timeline that is set by society.

4:57 But I'm here to announce to you that God's time is different for different

5:00 people. When you say that you trust God, and when you say that

5:03 you trust his will and his plan over your life, you need to also

5:08 come to the place of trusting his timing over your life. Zachariah, when

5:15 you look at this, the scripture says in verse eighteen, Zachariah said to

5:19 the angel, how can I be sure this will happen? I'm an old

5:24 man now, and my wife is also well along in years. This is

5:28 what Zachariah is saying. And when you look at verse number thirty four,

5:32 Mary asks the angel, but how can this happen? I'm a virgin.

5:36 This is the reminder for you guys that both are facing the same case.

5:42 But you realize that one is too old and the others in the case it's

5:47 happening too early. But that's when you understand that for somebody it may happen

5:53 quicker than you think, because God's timing is different for them. But for

5:58 somebody else it may happen late than you think. But the good news is

6:02 that what God has promised over your life is going to happen, whether it's

6:06 going to happen quicker like in the case of Mary. It's like, oh

6:11 my gosh, this is so soon, this is so quick. This is

6:13 not the time. Sometimes we think, you know, it can't happen so

6:15 fast, or it could happen later, like in the case with Zachariah and

6:20 Elizabeth. But whatever God's timing over your life is, can you say,

6:26 God, not my will and not my timing, not the time said by

6:30 the world or the standards of the world, or by society or by family.

6:34 But by the time that you have ordained for my life, I submit

6:40 to your timing. You know, I want to just close with this example.

6:43 You know, I love the scripture. It says in Galatians four to

6:46 four that at the right time God sent his son Jesus at the right time.

6:55 See God's sending his son Jesus was a good thing. It was the

6:59 best miracle that anybody could hope for the message of hope of salvation through Jesus

7:04 Christ. But God did not send Jesus right after Adams said, He didn't

7:11 send Jesus today like you know in two thousand AD. God sent his son

7:17 Jesus exactly at the right time. You know what I want you to understand

7:21 today is sometimes we think, oh, it's a miracle, it's something like

7:26 a good thing. Why can't God do this quickly? If God blesses me

7:29 soon, I will be able to be a greater blessing to more people.

7:31 If God helps me to fund my vision, I will be a blessing to

7:36 so many multitudes. Why can't God do it quickly? Well, that's why

7:42 you say, God, not my will, not my way, not the

7:46 way I think with my own mindset. But God, into your hands and

7:49 I commit and I trust you with the timing that you have for me.

7:55 God, I pray that this word will go afford and strengthen each one who

7:58 is watching with this hope, knowing that God, you are faithful that the

8:03 time that You've ordained for each and every one of them is going to come

8:07 to pass. And I believe in the name of Jesus Christ, every promise

8:09 that you're deposited in their spirit, every word that you have given them,

8:13 is going to come to pass at your appointed time. We choose to trust

8:18 you, we choose to depend on you, and we choose to look up

8:20 to you and surrender to your will and your time over our life. In

8:24 Jesus name, I pray, Amen, God bless you. I pray that

8:28 this word would be a blessing to you guys. And I just want to

8:31 take this time to wish you and your family once again a very blessed Christmas

8:37 season, and I pray that the real meaning of Christmas, the birth of

8:41 Jesus Christ coming into this world to save mankind, will become a reality over

8:46 your life through all the celebrations as well. Amen. I will see you
