0:53 how are you in a place in your life where you're bringing and waiting on

0:56 the Lord for the right people to show up, Maybe the right connection,

1:00 the right person. Maybe you're a Christian single you're waiting for the right person

1:03 to step it. Maybe you're praying for the right partner to start your business

1:07 with. Maybe you're waiting for the right resources people to partner with your ministry

1:11 you're calling. Maybe you're waiting for the right people who will cheer you on

1:15 the right connections that will push you towards the next level of your destiny and

1:21 maybe you're saying, John, no matter what I do, no matter how

1:25 much I put forth, no matter how much I do all these networking you

1:27 might have heard these motivational statements which says your networked comes from your network.

1:34 But in reality, I'm not seeing that, John, I don't know what

1:38 is going on. Why am I not seeing anything come because of my networking,

1:42 because of me trying to reach out to people. No matter what I

1:47 do, I'm not able to see the right people stepping into my life.

1:49 Well, if that describes you, I want you to stay tuned because I

1:53 want you to be encouraged by this word. Because I believe that the God

1:57 who has called you is a faithful god. He knows how to bring the

2:00 right people in. He knows how to ushare in the right people, to

2:05 weed out the wrong people. He knows how to connect the dots. He

2:07 knows how to shift people across. He knows how to make a way where

2:12 there seems to be no way. I want to start up by sharing a

2:15 scripture with you, and I want to take this forward. And it is

2:16 found in the Book of Matthew chapter one, where it talks about the genealogy

2:22 of Jesus Christ, people who were really what you call as the lucky ones,

2:27 the ones who had the favor to be in the generational line of Jesus

2:30 Christ. But this is what I want you to pay attention to Verse five.

2:36 This is what it says, Salmon the father of Boas, whose mother

2:40 was Rahab, and Boas the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth.

2:49 Obed was the father of Jesse, and Jesse was the father of King David.

2:53 And you know, eventually Jesus comes from the lineage of King David.

2:59 There's something powerful to note in verse five. It talks about two women,

3:04 Rehab and Ruth. The commonality between Rehab and Ruth is that they were not

3:09 from the chosen generation of Israel. They were not from the original Abrahamic Covenant.

3:15 They were not people who had the faith in the same God. They

3:20 were not people who had the same background, the same culture, the same

3:23 beliefs. They didn't have what it takes. They were literally outsiders. Today,

3:29 you may be in a place where you're saying, John, I'm just

3:32 an outsider. I know God has called me into big things in this area,

3:36 maybe to start a business, but I'm still an outsider. Going to

3:38 find ninety five job. Maybe you're saying, John, I know I'm called

3:43 to random ministry, but I don't have anything. I don't have the finance,

3:46 I don't have the support, I don't have any anybody to cheer me

3:51 on. Or you may be in a place later that you're saying, John,

3:53 I'm just an outsider. But you see, Rehab and Ruth were two

4:00 examples of outside us. They were not from the same lineage, they were

4:03 not from the same background, they were not from the same faith. They

4:08 were in fact, in the wrong place or the wrong people. They were

4:12 not connected with the right people. Today you may be feeling like you're not

4:15 connected with the right people. Well, I want you to hold your horses.

4:19 What I want you to understand is when you look at Rehab. For

4:23 example, her story is mentioned in the first couple of chapters in the Book

4:27 of Joshua, whereas when you look at Ruth, her story is mentioned in

4:30 the Book of Ruth where you know all about truth. But guess the thing

4:34 I want you to know when you look at Rahab, Rahab was actually in

4:40 the right place. What do I mean? She was actually in the land

4:45 flowing with the milk and honey. She was actually in the Promised Land.

4:47 She was in the right place, but with the wrong crowd, with the

4:51 wrong group of people, with the wrong community. Today, what I want

4:57 you to first of all check is where are you. Are you already in

5:01 the promised land that God has for you? Are you already where God wants

5:05 you to be. Maybe God has spoken over you saying I want you to

5:09 get into the area of ministry. Maybe you're already in that, but you're

5:13 still waiting for the right people. Or maybe God has already asked you to

5:15 start a business. Maybe you're still waiting for the breakthrough, but you're already

5:19 in that area, or maybe in the entertainment industry. Have you taken some

5:25 steps to be in the promised land that God has for you? Ray have

5:29 was already in the Promised Land. Here's the thing I want you to understand.

5:33 If you're already in your promised land, if you're already in the right

5:38 place and the right people have still not shown up, I want you to

5:42 just hold your horses. Have was in the right place, but the right

5:46 people that's still not shown up. But at the right appointed time by God.

5:50 When the children of Israel took over the Promised Land, what happened.

5:55 She was acquainted with the right people. What I want you to know is

5:58 if you are like a You're in the right place, You're taking the right

6:01 steps, You've done what you need to do, You're obey the voice of

6:05 God. You have a heart to do what is right in the sight of

6:08 God. I want you to know, even if right now you have no

6:12 clue where the right people are, you're right now connected with the wrong people.

6:16 You're right now connected with the wrong community. I want you to hold

6:20 your horses at the right appoint at time, God is going to show up.

6:25 God is going to make sure that the right people are coming into your

6:28 place. The right people are going to step into your life, the right

6:30 connections are coming at the right appointed time. You will be acquainted with the

6:35 right people who will take you to the next level of your destiny. The

6:40 other example is in the case of Ruth. She was not in the right

6:45 place. She was in a place called Moab, which was known to be

6:47 a very sinful place. Ruth was in a very bad shape. She not

6:54 only did not have the right people, she'd not be in the right place,

6:58 and she felt stuck. She didn't know what to do. You may

7:01 be in a place like that. You know God has called you to something.

7:04 Maybe you are called to step into a business, but you don't have

7:08 the finance, you don't have the support, you don't have what it takes.

7:12 Right now, you're stuck, maybe in a night off a job,

7:14 you have commitments which you can't let go of. Or maybe you know that

7:17 God has called you to go to another place, but right now there's some

7:21 bond that's preventing you from going to that place. Maybe you're in a place

7:26 you're saying, John, I don't know. I feel like I'm stuck.

7:29 I want to make a move, but I don't have a way. I

7:30 don't have any option available for me. In the natural, Ruth was in

7:35 a place like that. She was not only not having the right people,

7:40 she was also not in the right place. If you have a heart to

7:43 do what is right, if you have a heart to fulfill your purpose,

7:46 if you have a heart to honor God, if you have a heart to

7:49 be where God has called you to be, I want you to understand,

7:54 at the right a point in time, when you look at in the case

7:56 with Ruth, the right family left another country, came all the way to

8:01 this place called Moab because of a famine, and they got acquainted with Ruth.

8:07 And because of this acquaintance, eventually she gets back to this right place

8:13 and she gets acquainted with a man called Boas and ends up being in the

8:16 generational line of Jesus Christ. What I want you to understand is like in

8:20 the case of Rehab, she was in the right place, but she was

8:24 not with the right crowd, but at the right time, God brought the

8:26 right people in. In case of Ruth, she was not in the right

8:31 place, she was not having the right crowd, but at the right time,

8:33 God brought the right people in to take her to the right place and

8:37 be acquainted with the right people. That's what I want you to be encouraged

8:41 today that God knows what he's doing with your life. Stop breaking your head

8:45 on things that you can't fix. It's not in your hands. You're not

8:48 the one running your life. God is. He knows how to take you

8:52 to your final destination. Now, one more thing. You may be saying,

8:58 John, that sounds nice, but what if I'm supposed to do something,

9:01 Well, there is a place for that for you to introspect as well.

9:03 See when you think about Abraham, God specifically asked him and gave him

9:09 a word. I want you to leave your household, leave your country,

9:13 leave what is your comfort zone, and go to the place which I'm going

9:16 to tell you. Maybe like with Jonah, God gave him a specific word

9:20 to Janah, saying I want you to go to nil away. If God

9:24 has clearly given you a word, if God has clearly spoken to you to

9:28 go to a certain place to be acquainted with something, people you cannot by

9:33 past what God has told you, Like in the case of Abraham, when

9:37 God said I will show you to this place I want you to go.

9:41 If he was just staying where he was and saying, God, I want

9:45 you to bless me where I am, it was not going to work out.

9:48 You can't be where God does not want you to be and expect to

9:52 read the blessings that God wants to give you when you do what you're supposed

9:56 to do today. I'm encouraging you. Don't go to a place where you

10:01 are just being in the place of complacency. Get to a place where you

10:03 say, God, where do you want me to go? Like Abraham,

10:07 if he's calling you to go someplace, go, don't stay where you are.

10:13 When you go to that place, you'll experience that blessing. Like with

10:16 Jonah, he said, you know what, I don't want to go to

10:20 Nineveh. Let me go to tashas he moved, but he didn't go to

10:24 the right place, to the right people. Right. If God is asking

10:28 you to go to us place called Nineveh, don't go to Tashash, don't

10:31 go somewhere else. Don't say you know what, it's okay as long as

10:35 I preach the gospel. If God is asking you to go to a certain

10:39 place to be acquainted with certain people, you need to do what He's asking

10:43 you to do. Today, I'm challenging each one of us to get to

10:48 that place where. Yes, you want to do great exploits for God's glory.

10:52 You want to do great things for the glory of God. You want

10:54 to build his kingdom. You want to make an impact. Before you pass

10:58 out from plane the tarth well, I want to tell you this first things.

11:03 First, check where you are. Are you where God wants you to

11:07 be. If you are where God wants you to be, like rehab,

11:11 just know, at the right time, God will bring the right people.

11:16 Like the right people stepped into the promised land. If you're not where God

11:20 wants you to be but you are stuck, is nothing is within your capacity

11:24 to make a change. Like Ruth, don't worry. At the right time,

11:28 the right people will come and take you towards your right place and you

11:33 will meet with the right people. But if you are in a place like

11:37 Abraham, when God is asking you to leave and go to a place,

11:43 but you're not leaving, I pray that today you will make the decision to

11:46 move. Or if you're like Jonah, oh all I have to do is

11:50 move. But if you're not moving to the right people, if you're not

11:54 getting acquainted with the right people, I pray today instead of just moving for

11:58 the same movie, I pray that you will move towards the right people,

12:03 make the right move, and God will lead you to the next level of

12:07 your destiny. God, I pray that this world will go forth in the

12:09 name of Jesus. For those who are listening, watching from around the world,

12:13 no matter what they're facing, no matter what they're dealing with, Lord,

12:16 help them to know that a shadow for doubt, that you have the

12:20 best plan for their life. Help them to trust you and take the right

12:24 step that they need to take or if they need to wait upon, you

12:26 give them the grace to do that as well. In Jesus Name, I
