0:53 you in a place in your life that you're saying, John, I just

0:56 heard a word from the Lord. Somebody gave me bad news. This is

0:59 the report I received. It doesn't look any good. I don't know what

1:03 to do about this. Are you feeling upset? Are you feeling drowned?

1:07 You feel drained, you feel rejected, you feel broken, you feel like

1:11 just crying? Well, when I talk about Second King chapter twenty, there

1:15 was a moment when Isakaiah, this great king, became deadly hill and the

1:23 prophet Isaiah came to visit him, and he gave this message to the king.

1:30 Now we think about this. When you are upset, when you are

1:33 sick, when you are going through some negative season, all you want to

1:38 hear is some good news, at least from the prophet. Even if the

1:42 doctors say, you know you're gonna die, you want a prophet or a

1:45 pastor to come and pray that you will get healed. You want some good

1:49 news at least from the pasta from the prophet. But here's what the prophet,

1:55 this prophet, mighty Prophet Isaiah says. He says, set your first

2:00 in order for you are going to die. You will not recover from the

2:05 sickness. You may be in a place where you're saying, John, It's

2:07 one thing when I get a medical report that says that I'm in a very

2:10 bad spot. It's wanting to get a report from the school saying that you

2:15 know, my grades are banned. It's wanting to get a report from my

2:19 workplace which says that you know, my position is in a very bad shape.

2:23 It's a very shaky place, and I could get fired any moment.

2:25 It's wanting to get a report from anything from the outside. But it's another

2:30 thing when you get a report, a word from the Lord. When a

2:35 prophet comes and says that you're going to die, that you're going to not

2:39 make it, that this is the end. You're not going to get another

2:44 job. Imagine a profit coming and telling you you're not going to get another

2:46 job. This is it. You're going to suffer the rest of your life.

2:50 Imagine a profit coming and telling you, you know what, you're going

2:54 to stay single the rest of your life. You know what, You're going

2:58 to fail and you're not going to make it through your life. You know

3:00 what, nothing is going to work out for you. That's not the kind

3:04 of message you want to hear when you are already down. But here's the

3:10 thing. That's what happened. It was not a false prophet giving this report.

3:15 It was mighty true prophet of God, Prophet Isaiah saying you're gonna die.

3:23 But I wanted to understand, Zakaiah did not accept that word. Zakaiah

3:30 didn't say, you know what, Prophet Isaiah said, I'm gonna die.

3:34 Oh, there's no hope for me. I'm just gonna die. That's not

3:38 what he did. When Aszakaiah heard this, he turned his face to the

3:44 wall and prayed to the Lord. I wanted to understand he received a word

3:51 from the prophet. Instead of talking to the prophet, he talked to the

3:54 Lord. I don't know who needs to hear this word. You have been

3:59 looking to people. You're saying, please change your mind. You're saying please,

4:02 please say any way you can pray that you can change the message from

4:05 the Lord for me. You may be saying, yes, this is what

4:09 the you know, the constitutions are saying with regard to this issue. But

4:14 can there be any change to that? Or you may be saying, yes,

4:16 I got these grades. Can the teacher do something about it? Yes,

4:19 this is what i'm getting as the report from my workplace. This is

4:24 what I'm getting from whatever area, maybe it's in your area politics. You're

4:28 saying, you know what, it's looking in a very bad shape. But

4:30 are you just looking at the report and looking at the person who gave you

4:38 the report, or are you looking to the Lord? As Zakaya received the

4:45 word from the prophet, but he didn't speak to the prophet. He spoke

4:49 to the Lord today. I'm telling you guys, that's what you got from

4:54 the prophet. But don't speak to the prophet. Don't speak to the pastor

4:59 don't speak to the report, Giva, speak to the Lord. He prayed

5:03 to the Lord, Lord, remember me how I've been faithful to you and

5:10 have served you single mindedly, always doing what pleases you. Then he broke

5:15 down and wept bitterly. He prayed and cried to the Lord. This is

5:23 the word for you, guys, as much as the report says there's no

5:28 hope, as much as the truth says there's no way out, as much

5:32 as even prophets or people might have given you the word from the Lord saying

5:38 that this is not going to work out well for you. When you pray,

5:43 you'll see a change. Hersakiah praise and cries to the Lord, and

5:48 the Bible says and worse for before isaiahd left the Middle Kourtya, the message

5:54 came from the Lord saying, go back to Hersakiah and say that you know

5:58 what, he will live for fifty in more years. He's not going to

6:00 die. You see here the saints of God, a mighty prophet came and

6:04 gave him a word saying you're going to die. But he didn't accept that

6:09 word. He prayed, and when he prayed, he saw her change.

6:12 In the output. I want you to understand. Prophets might has given you

6:15 some word, A word from the Lord must have come across your path,

6:19 or sometimes somebody might have told you, or all the yachts maybe against you.

6:24 But when you still stand your ground and look to the Lord, stop

6:28 looking to prophets, stop looking to pastors, and look to the Lord.

6:31 I'm telling you your output is going to be different because you look to the

6:36 Lord. Even though the mighty prophet Isaiah said it, God changed it when

6:46 a man prayed. When you stand your ground and look to the Lord,

6:53 he will honor you. He will and say your prayers according to as well.

7:00 Lord. I pray for those who are watching and listening from around the

7:02 world that you'll fill them with that grace and that assurance, even if they're

7:09 in a place where they've lost all hope, because not only is the reality

7:13 looking bad, but they've also received some word from the lords or some prophetic

7:17 words saying that they've lost everything. Pray that you'll strengthen them at this point

7:25 and give them the hope of a new beginning in Jesus name. I pray,
