0:53 in a place in your life where you're just crying and asking why is no

0:56 one helping me? Why am I not getting any help of whatsoever the people

1:00 around? I see so many people around, but I'm in my own trouble

1:03 and I don't have anyone to help me. And the last couple of days,

1:07 I've been talking to you from the man in John chapter five, the

1:11 crippled man who had been a cripple for thirty eight years. And you know,

1:15 the Lord has been sharing some revelations that I thought to know are really

1:19 going to help you. Guys, and has been a blessing to me when

1:23 I just receive these revelations and I just want to share them with you guys.

1:27 You know, one of the things that really caught my attention was one

1:30 of the complaints or that he makes with the middle of Jesus steps into the

1:34 scene and asks him, do you want to get well? The man says,

1:38 I have no one to help me, and every time I try to

1:42 jump, somebody else jumps ahead of me. In other words, if you

1:45 check the context of John chapter five, if you're not been listening to my

1:48 previous episodes, you understand that you know, there's this pool of better stuff,

1:52 and there are a lot of sick folk, and who jumps in every

1:55 now and then when the Angel of the Lord stirs the waters, and who

1:59 are in first would get healed of whatever sickness they had. And so there

2:04 was this guy who had an expectation of getting a miracle, and he had

2:07 been here for thirty eight years crippled. Think about this, not for a

2:13 few days or weeks or months, but for years and decades together. This

2:16 man has been a crippled and he was at the pool of betestaff. Now

2:22 the thing is when Jesus comes to the scene and asks him, do you

2:23 want to get well? He doesn't even reply to Jesus. He says,

2:28 I am no one to help me. Everybody jumps before me before I do

2:34 any Every time the opportunity comes and I don't get it, I'm not getting

2:38 my miracle. And it really caught my attention to understand that. See,

2:45 if you go to a you know, like if there's an appointment in a

2:49 hospital or something, right, what happens. I mean, there's a queue

2:52 and everybody's waiting in the queue. But once somebody gets their appointment done with

2:55 the doctor, do they still stand in the queue? Do they still around?

3:00 Know? What do they do? They just leave the place because they

3:02 don't want to be there. They just want to get out of that place.

3:07 And here's a classic example of there so many people in the pool of

3:09 Patista. So even when somebody gets a miracle, when they get healed,

3:15 they would be like, hey, I got my miracle. But they could

3:16 stay there anymore because this was a place of sickness. This was a place

3:21 where people were waiting for the miracle. They were in that appointment room kind

3:23 of a place. But the minute somebody got their miracle. They're not going

3:29 to stick around and wait for somebody else to help them, right, I

3:31 mean, just think about it on a human perspective. People are not going

3:35 to do that all the time. Right. Maybe there could be some one

3:38 or two cases, But think about this, and probably this man has seen

3:42 this, that there were people who had been in the line before, and

3:46 he has seen them. They got their miracle, and he thought maybe they

3:49 would help him. But they got their miracle, they left the place they

3:53 got their miracle. They left the place. And that's kind of a place

3:58 from where this man could be saying, there's no one to help me.

4:01 There's no one to help me because the ones who can help I've already left

4:09 the place, but everybody else is still waiting for their miracle. See what

4:16 I wanted to understand is sometimes we get disappointed that people are not there to

4:19 help us. Why aren't they supporting me? Why aren't they helping me?

4:25 But I want you to understand that sometimes people are people, and you cannot

4:31 put in that expectation on people that is never going to be met an ideal

4:36 scenario. You get what I'm saying. Right, the minute somebody gets well

4:43 in the rest in the what do you call it in a hospital? Right,

4:47 They're not going to go back to the same bed. Ut they're not

4:49 going to go back to the hospital and stay there. They're going to get

4:54 discharged and go back home. Right. And that's exactly the case. So

4:58 every single person who called them miracle, they're not going to look back at

5:01 better staff. They're not going to go back there, you know, unless

5:04 they really had a heart to go back and care for those who have that

5:08 term, you know, what do you call it? Even if they do

5:11 care, maybe they went there and you know, they cheered somebody else up,

5:15 or maybe give them food or something like that. But then they're not

5:17 going to stay there. Why because they got the miracle. Now they go

5:21 into the free world and live their life that they want to live. So

5:25 you have to understand that you cannot meet you cannot have unrealistic expectation over people.

5:32 To a point people can help you, but beyond the point, people

5:35 are not going to help you. That is where you need to understand that

5:40 your ultimate trust reliance should be upon the Lord, because the only one who's

5:45 going to be with you to the end of this stage is the Lord.

5:48 That's why you can't put your support system on people. You cannot put your

5:56 you know somebody who you always can't say I need, you know, somebody

5:59 to come and cheer me up every time. Can I tell you something it's

6:02 not going to happen. There are going to be moments like David, you

6:05 have to learn to encourage yourself. There will be moments when there's nobody to

6:11 help you, like Joseph and the Comparer. He told the comparer to remember

6:15 him, but he got his miracle. He forgot about Joseph. You know,

6:18 I imagine how many times this crippled man could have felt that there could

6:24 be somebody else who got a miracle and you have told him, hey,

6:27 you know, maybe next time you can help me get into the pool.

6:30 But that person never showed up after that. It could have happened, right,

6:34 Thirty eight years is a long time for him to have a lot of

6:38 disappointments and hurts. And that's the place I want you, guys to get

6:42 to a place where you understand it. You cannot depend on people and you

6:46 cannot just keep nursing on the wounds of the disappointments that have been caused by

6:50 people. Today. I pray that you'll get out to a place where you

6:55 understand that, yes, people may disappoint me, but I look at God.

7:00 I know that even though I've been disappointed by people, I know that

7:03 my point of appointment from God, my divine appointment, is on the way

7:10 when Jesus showed up, his life was changed altogether. And I believe that

7:15 at ther pointed time of God, God is going to show up in your

7:17 life and you will receive the miracle, the breakthrough, the touch of God

7:21 that will change the trajectory of your life today. In whichever area you're praying

7:26 about, maybe somebody who has to help you, maybe refer to a job,

7:30 maybe to use their influence to get your client, or maybe you looked

7:34 at somebody to help you get you know, maybe a reach on your social

7:39 media, anything that you've been praying about. I pray today that you know

7:44 you'll come to the place where, even if you're hurt that people have not

7:46 helped you and they've disappointed and hurt you, come to the place where you're

7:50 like, you know what, God, I don't want to put any more

7:53 expectation on people. I want to put all my hope, trust and reliance

7:57 on you because I know that you will never leave me enough for Segney,

8:00 and you're going to definitely show up and show out in my life. Amen.
