0:53 things I want to talk to you today about is an important aspect when a

0:57 lot of people ask this question, John, how do I know which is

1:00 the direction God wants me to go? How do I have a sense of

1:03 direction over my life? Where does God's will for me? What does God

1:08 want me to do? Or where am I going to find my ultimate destiny

1:11 in life? And you know, questions related to do that, And there

1:15 are so many aspects where I have to understand. You need to be led

1:19 by the spirit of God, you guided by God your passions and you know

1:23 I've shared so many things because I've written a book on finding your purpose in

1:26 life, so you know, I encourage you guys to check that out.

1:29 But today I want to share one important aspect I believe it's so important with

1:33 regard to this, and that is to pay attention to the crowd that God

1:38 is placing you in, or to the crowd or the people that God is

1:44 bringing along your life. Not the people that you would love to be connected

1:48 with, not the kind of people that you are interested in, not the

1:51 people that you are drawn to or that you are going to or you are

1:56 connecting with your own initiative, but the kind of people that inspire of the

2:00 fact that you're not taking any steps, but God is bringing them into your

2:02 life. Pay attention to that. Let me give you two examples from the

2:07 Bible. One is David, right before he took the throne, what God

2:13 do. God prepared David by taking him to the palace so that he can

2:17 understand the protocol in the palace he was serving the king, so he could

2:24 understand the lingo, the protocol, the expectations, the standards, and all

2:30 of those things like the language is used in the palace. When I mean

2:35 language I'm talking about. You know, Okay, this is this standard,

2:38 this is the way you need to do, This is the way it needs

2:42 to be done. You know the lingo of the palace or you know those

2:45 kind of expectations that is set to be in the palace. God prepares people

2:53 in that circle in that environment. No, it's not an accident that David

2:59 was serving Saul before he took the throne. It was God preparing him by

3:07 strategically pleasing him in that circle. So that you can understand the language,

3:13 you can understand the protocol, you can understand the expectations, you can understand

3:17 what goes on that. You can't just write about it. You can't just

3:22 say, oh, I think I know this is what the king is doing.

3:24 No, you need to be there to be a witness to understand what

3:28 is happening. You think about Joseph in the Bible, before he was taken

3:34 to the palace. What happened. He was serving Potifer, who was in

3:39 a high position in the palace. He was in charge of the prisoners of

3:46 the Pharaoh, which means he was in that kind of a position, very

3:50 high position. So even when Joseph was put in the prison he was not

3:53 put in a normal person, He was not put among civilians. He was

3:57 put in a prison where the other prisons with those who were serving the pharaoh.

4:02 That's how he gets connected with the Kabera, who is instrumental in taking

4:08 him to the palace. See, I want you to understand something near,

4:13 guys, Before God takes you to the palace, he puts you in positions

4:19 where you can understand the protocol of the palace. Before God takes you through

4:25 the throne, he takes you through the process where you are able to understand

4:30 the language, the expectations, and the standard that you need to have to

4:39 be able to meet the Pharaoh. Because if Joseph had never had that conversation,

4:45 if he was never with that circle, he wouldn't know how to behave

4:47 when he actually ends up meeting with the Pharaoh. Think about it. You

4:53 know, sometimes in my life I've seen this where God helps me rub shoulders

4:58 with people I never expected, and I look at it and the Lord was

5:02 just showing me this. You know, yes, I know you want to

5:04 go to that place, but how can I take you through the place if

5:08 you don't know the protocol of that place? If you don't know how it

5:12 works out. And I'm telling you one of the examples I want to tell

5:15 you from my own life is this. When I started out, I was

5:17 like, you know what I'm you know, God has called me to start

5:19 an international ministry and so on and so forth, and you know, with

5:25 the best of my knowledge, I thought I was doing the right thing.

5:28 But as years progressed, I realized that, you know, I was so

5:32 immature back then, you know, in many of the ways that the way

5:36 I behaved. But as God started taking me to rub shoulders with mighty men

5:43 and women of God and you know, connected through so many different people across

5:46 the globe through you know, thanks to the way the podcast has been moving,

5:50 guys. Just to an update in case you didn't know, today's episode

5:54 is the nine and ninety ninth episode on the Daily Podcast. Tomorrow we're going

5:58 to have a celebration with the celebrity guests precruity Angelena, a renowned singer from

6:04 India. You know, So that's just an update for you. But think

6:09 about this. You know, God helps you get connected and rub shoulders with

6:15 people to let you know that is the place I'm going to take you.

6:20 That is the direction of your life. So pay attention when you go to

6:29 such places. Don't behave like, oh, you know what, I just

6:30 want to take a selfie, you know, I just want to see what

6:34 it is so that I can go and put on social media. But more

6:38 than that, God takes you there to prepare you, to expose you,

6:47 to give you that exposure you need on how you need to make decisions when

6:53 God actually takes you to that position or that place, to that level in

6:58 the future. Think about it now. Recently I was connected with the renowned

7:06 minister and I'm pedigrades of God. This connection came and initially I used to

7:13 behave like okay, you know, wow, I got to meet and you

7:15 know, stuff like that. And then at the one point, the Lord

7:18 was showing me, you know, you're behaving like immature. You're behaving like,

7:23 uh, you know, like a kid. You know, you just

7:25 want to take selfie, you know, and stuff. This is an example

7:29 selfie. Okay, I'm just saying, but you know, can you start

7:33 behaving in a way like okay, you know what you belong there? You

7:38 can you start behaving like, you know, you know, in a mature

7:43 way, you know, speak in that language. Speaking that standard. The

7:46 reason I brought you so that you will have the exposure to think that way,

7:51 to behave in that way, and all these things. And that just

7:56 changed things because I understood that I'm not here just like a fan. You

8:01 know. Wow, I'm exposed to this, but God is exposing me so

8:05 that I can be ready when that kind of a moment happens in my life,

8:09 because that's what a lot is put in my heart. International Ministry,

8:13 When that happens, I will be able to understand how to deal with it

8:18 because I'm exposed to how the others are dealing with it, How are they

8:22 behaving, what is the protocol, what is what is the language being used?

8:28 You know, and all of those things right, So today I pray

8:31 that you will come to that place of understanding, you know what, you

8:37 know like the people that God has placed in your life, that God is

8:41 bringing in your life, so that you will look at that and don't look

8:48 at it as competition, don't look at it as just you know, by

8:52 chance, but look at it as maybe breeding arounds, training grounds to bring

8:58 you the exposure you need to lead you towards your destiny. Emmen, God
