0:54 Speaker 2: passage that you might be knowing a lot, and you

0:58 Speaker 2: might have actually studied quite a bit of it from

1:01 Speaker 2: the time you were younger. But I want to talk

1:03 Speaker 2: about something very important because I believe there is a

1:06 Speaker 2: principle for us to learn from this. It may be

1:09 Speaker 2: again unknown principle, but again in this context, I believe

1:13 Speaker 2: we need this reminder and I'm going to talk to

1:15 Speaker 2: you today from the very first miracle Jesus performed when

1:18 Speaker 2: he walked on earth as man, and it is found

1:20 Speaker 2: in John chapter two. This is the segment about the

1:24 Speaker 2: wedding at Cana. And if you look at verse one,

1:28 Speaker 2: it says there was this wedding celebration in the village

1:30 Speaker 2: of Cana in Galilee. I'm reading to you from the

1:33 Speaker 2: NLT version. Right, it says Jesus's mother was there, verse

1:36 Speaker 2: two which says Jesus and his disciples were also invited

1:41 Speaker 2: to the celebration, and verse three says the wine supply

1:45 Speaker 2: ran out during the festivities. I want you to just

1:48 Speaker 2: think about this for a minute, right when they were

1:51 Speaker 2: planning this wedding, when they were planning all the nuances

1:56 Speaker 2: of the wedding, when they were looking at all the

1:58 Speaker 2: celebrations and the festive more and you know, when they

2:01 Speaker 2: were going through all this happy awesome you know, like

2:04 Speaker 2: like everybody is a joyful mood and everything while things

2:08 Speaker 2: were going really good, everything was going as per plan.

2:12 Speaker 2: The Bible says that Jesus and his disciples were also invited, right,

2:18 Speaker 2: Because I want you to understand that a lot of

2:20 Speaker 2: times when things are going fine in our life. Maybe

2:23 Speaker 2: when you're making a new decision or career choice, or

2:26 Speaker 2: maybe a stepping into a new relationship that you want

2:28 Speaker 2: to venture out, or maybe a new business venture, or

2:31 Speaker 2: with the career job scenario, or maybe anything out of

2:36 Speaker 2: the sun. Maybe you're starting a new ministry endeavor, or

2:39 Speaker 2: maybe you're just trying to start a new you know,

2:43 Speaker 2: like habit in your life, anything for that matter. Right,

2:46 Speaker 2: Sometimes when we're just taking these steps, we're like, you

2:49 Speaker 2: know what, I'm excited about this. This is a new initiative.

2:52 Speaker 2: I'm just exploring this. When we get into this, what

2:55 Speaker 2: do we do? We sometimes we forget God. I'm not

2:59 Speaker 2: saying we intentionally do this. I'm not saying that we

3:02 Speaker 2: are like, you know what, I never prayed or something like,

3:04 Speaker 2: we are praying, we're looking up to the Lord, we're

3:06 Speaker 2: seeking his guidance and all of those things. But in

3:08 Speaker 2: the midst of that, what happens is we take our

3:10 Speaker 2: own initiative, our own step, without actually inviting Jesus into

3:15 Speaker 2: every step. You get what I'm saying. The Bible says

3:18 Speaker 2: very clearly in Problems three, verse five and six. You

3:23 Speaker 2: know it says acknowledge God in all your ways, and

3:26 Speaker 2: he will direct your steps right. The problem is not

3:30 Speaker 2: when we you know, we don't acknowledge God at all.

3:34 Speaker 2: It's that we forget to acknowledge Him in all of

3:37 Speaker 2: our ways. You see, when everything was going fine, when

3:40 Speaker 2: there was no problem in sight, they invited Jesus. This

3:44 Speaker 2: is a wake up call for some of you. When

3:46 Speaker 2: things are going fine, Are you actually acknowledging Him in everything?

3:51 Speaker 2: Are you depending on him with him in everything? Are

3:53 Speaker 2: you looking up to Him and saying, Holy Spirit, apart

3:56 Speaker 2: from you, I can do nothing. Jesus, I need you

3:58 Speaker 2: every minute. Can you be in the place where even

4:02 Speaker 2: if something looks easy, these things seem like everything is

4:06 Speaker 2: going well. Are you in a position where you're actually

4:09 Speaker 2: involving God even when you feel like you actually don't

4:12 Speaker 2: need God in that moment? You get what I'm saying.

4:15 Speaker 2: Because when they invited Jesus and the disciples to the wedding,

4:19 Speaker 2: there was no problem. They had no clue that they

4:22 Speaker 2: were about to face a major problem where they needed

4:25 Speaker 2: the hand of God because only in verse three the

4:29 Speaker 2: wine ran out. In verse two, everything was great. They

4:32 Speaker 2: invited Jesus even before the wine ran out. They invited

4:35 Speaker 2: Jesus even before they hit or trouble. They invited Jesus

4:40 Speaker 2: before they actually anticipated anything going wrong in their life.

4:44 Speaker 2: This is a message to you because you have no

4:46 Speaker 2: idea when things can actually start tumbling down, or things

4:50 Speaker 2: could go in the bad direction, or things can actually

4:53 Speaker 2: go out of control where you actually need God to

4:56 Speaker 2: do something. So that's why my challenge to you is

4:59 Speaker 2: while things are still going fine, acknowledge Him in all

5:03 Speaker 2: your ways, when your things are actually looking good, seek

5:07 Speaker 2: God and this will and displan and dispurpose over your life.

5:11 Speaker 2: Because a lot of times people hit a problem, they

5:14 Speaker 2: go to that moment when the wine runs out, or

5:16 Speaker 2: a moment when you know they face the you know,

5:20 Speaker 2: impossible situation, and then they're like, oh my gosh, God,

5:23 Speaker 2: where are you? God? I should have invited you in

5:26 Speaker 2: my life before. God, I need your direction over my life.

5:30 Speaker 2: The problem is, you know, you are asking God where

5:34 Speaker 2: are you when you hit the problem? But God, if

5:36 Speaker 2: I were God, I would say where were you before

5:39 Speaker 2: you actually got into the problem? You know what I mean?

5:42 Speaker 2: You know, see, this is a message to all of us.

5:46 Speaker 2: This is a simple principle, but a message to really

5:51 Speaker 2: in prospect and see, are you acknowledging God in everything?

5:55 Speaker 2: Are you depending on Him in everything? Recently I took

5:59 Speaker 2: up an USI and and there was one of the

6:02 Speaker 2: assignments that I was given, you know, in this new organization,

6:05 Speaker 2: was to do some PPT adjustment work. Okay, it's a

6:09 Speaker 2: very simple task, but you won't believe. Like the minute

6:13 Speaker 2: they said can you do this? This is the first

6:14 Speaker 2: assignment to do in this so obviously first impression and

6:19 Speaker 2: all of these things pressure. So I started speaking in

6:21 Speaker 2: tongues for five minutes, I was started praying. I said, Lord,

6:24 Speaker 2: I know it's a simple task. I know I can

6:26 Speaker 2: do this by myself, but I want you to help me.

6:28 Speaker 2: I want you to help me. I acknowledge you in everything,

6:31 Speaker 2: even if it's a simple task. I want to acknowledge you,

6:34 Speaker 2: even if it's a simple task. I need you lot.

6:37 Speaker 2: I need to depend on your guard. Apart from you,

6:39 Speaker 2: I can do nothing. I took the I started praying

6:42 Speaker 2: for those five minutes, and then I started this assignment

6:45 Speaker 2: and took the next couple of hours. Even through that,

6:48 Speaker 2: whenever I faced anything kind of small, small hurdles, I

6:52 Speaker 2: started speaking in tongues. I said praying, and I got

6:55 Speaker 2: it done and I was able to get a good feedback.

6:59 Speaker 2: You know, you did a fantastic job, you know, and

7:02 Speaker 2: things like that. And I'm telling you it's not just

7:05 Speaker 2: about the feedback. It's about the fact that, you know,

7:07 Speaker 2: I'm glad that I started depending on him more, even

7:11 Speaker 2: for things that I think that I can handle by myself,

7:14 Speaker 2: you know what I mean. Like they could have said, oh,

7:16 Speaker 2: you know what, it's a simple task we can handle

7:18 Speaker 2: like we you know, or they could have ignored Jesus.

7:22 Speaker 2: They could have, you know, not invited Jesus because Jesus

7:25 Speaker 2: had not even started doing his miracles, right, like, you

7:27 Speaker 2: wouldn't have been as quote unquote popular as you would

7:32 Speaker 2: have been before it would become later. But here's the thing.

7:36 Speaker 2: They still acknowledged and invited Jesus before the problems ran

7:40 Speaker 2: came out, and what happened, it was something that came

7:44 Speaker 2: in handy. So today, that's the message I want to

7:46 Speaker 2: leave with you that before you hit your problem, before

7:49 Speaker 2: your wine runs out, invite Jesus into your life, and

7:52 Speaker 2: that's how you will be able to face anything and

7:55 Speaker 2: everything that comes your way. Amen, God bless you.
