0:46 Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John gift of podcast where I'm going to talk to you today. As we have been doing this series about understanding the favor of God upon our life. Today I want to talk about an important aspect because the last couple of day we've been talking about with regard to the favor, we are saying, you know what, the favor of God will enable you to be at the right place at the right time. The favor of God will take you places you can't go on your own.

1:10 Speaker 2: The favor of God will cause the right people to show interest towards you. There's there's so many things to learn, you know, the favor of God will open doors just for you. I mean, I really challenge you to go back and listen because there's so much to unpack and learn. And you know, these may be simple principles, but to remember in your life is so important because that's where the key is. And today, one of the things I wanted to understand about the favor of God is in line with yesterday when I was talking to you about how the favor of God caused Ruth and Boas to meet to be at the right place at the right time.

1:40 Speaker 2: It so happened that of all the fields, Ruth went to Bois' field. It also happened that on that day when she went, at that moment when she went, boys happened to be in that field, and Boas tended to be good to Ruth. So you know, the arts of her her going to the wrong field or Boas you know, of being on leave that day or something like that. Yes, the thing, you know, God orchestrated it. But yes, the thing I wanted to understand right, the favor did not come on Ruth when like she was just going through her nursing her woods.

2:13 Speaker 2: It wouldn't have been on her life if she had just sat at home and complained about life. The favor came when she got up and went to the field. Like this is a simple message, but some people are praying for favor, Like let God open her door, then I will take a step. Let God show the answer in some way. Let him bring somebody into my life, let him bring a divine connection, let him created an avenue for me, or let God do something. Then I will take a step. Then I will make a move. If Ruth had sat there to telling more Naomi, listen, you know, if you know somebody, can you connect me me?

2:49 Speaker 2: Then I will take a step and go. No, no, no, no, yes thing. Even though Naomi knew about Boas she didn't even tell Ruth about Boaz, but yes the thing. Ruth did not wait for Naomi to connect her with somebody and then she would take a step, even though she didn't know anybody. Even though this is an all new country, everything is new for her, she was willing to stoop down and go. She went to the field. See, the favor came because she moved the favor was evident in her life because she moved. I want to share another scripture with you, and I want to emphasize this because if you look at Psalm ninety, verse seventeen, it says, may the favor of the Lord rest upon us, establish the work of our hands.

3:32 Speaker 2: For us, yes, establish the work of her hands. Understand something here, because there's one group that's like, you know what, I'm waiting on the favor of the Lord. I'm waiting for God to show up. I'm waiting on the Lord to do a miracle. I'm waiting for divine connections. I'm waiting for God to show up and show out in a certain area of my life. But the problem is they're not taking any steps. They're not doing anything. They're not moving today. My challenge to you is very simple. It's time for you to make a move.

3:55 Speaker 2: It's time for you to take a step of faith. It's time for you to get started with where God is leading you, what is available in front of you, the move that you can make, the step that you can take. When you do that, God will lead you. When you do that, then you will see the favor of God establishing the work of your hands. When you do that, you will see divine connections. When you do that, you will see God open doors no men can shut. And this is a simple lesson that I want you to remember in any area you're praying for a miracle, are you doing what your need to do?

4:22 Speaker 2: Are you on the move? Are you taking the right steps? Are you doing what you know for the best of your ability? That there is nothing that you're just sitting idle and expecting God to do. Because when you do your part, the Lord is going to enable you and show you and shower you with this favor that's going to take you places that you cannot go on your own. And men, God bless you guys.
