1:05 Speaker 2: is resting upon us and is surrounding us and carrying

1:08 Speaker 2: us through. One of the things today I want to

1:11 Speaker 2: remind you of you regard to the favor is that

1:13 Speaker 2: the favor of God causes you to do things quicker

1:16 Speaker 2: than what would normally be the case. It causes to

1:19 Speaker 2: bring acceleration in your life. Now, when you think about this,

1:22 Speaker 2: it's not just about, Oh, I want to do whatever

1:24 Speaker 2: I want to do in the favor of God just

1:27 Speaker 2: becomes like a stamp of approval. That's not what I mean.

1:30 Speaker 2: But what I'm saying is when you're doing what God

1:32 Speaker 2: has called you to do, what God has prepared or

1:35 Speaker 2: created you for, walking in your God given calling and purpose,

1:38 Speaker 2: when you are walking in your assignment, you will be

1:41 Speaker 2: able to see that favor which normally would take a

1:43 Speaker 2: longer period of time for other people, you would be

1:45 Speaker 2: able to do it in the nick of time. One

1:47 Speaker 2: of the classic examples is how Nehemeha was able to

1:51 Speaker 2: have the favor of God resting upon him to complete

1:54 Speaker 2: the building of the wall in just fifty two days.

1:57 Speaker 2: It's not possible in the natural. Imagine you have to

2:01 Speaker 2: do certain tasks which would take a long period of

2:03 Speaker 2: time in your work, and everybody else says it's going

2:06 Speaker 2: to take this many days, but you will be able

2:07 Speaker 2: to complete in a much shorter Spand how is that

2:10 Speaker 2: the favor of God enables you to do that, and

2:13 Speaker 2: most people are like, oh, striving, then you need to

2:15 Speaker 2: spend this much time. I need to do this and

2:18 Speaker 2: do that. You know a lot of times people ask me,

2:20 Speaker 2: how do you manage a full time corporate job and

2:23 Speaker 2: running the daily podcast, the ministry, social media, traveling, preaching,

2:27 Speaker 2: and all the different commitments that come along the way.

2:30 Speaker 2: It's not because I'm great or I have more hours

2:32 Speaker 2: than other people. It's just simple. It's the fact that

2:35 Speaker 2: I keep tapping in and saying, God, you know what.

2:37 Speaker 2: I need your favor. I know this is the time

2:40 Speaker 2: I want you to enable me. I have only the

2:43 Speaker 2: short spand Lord, give me the right word. I want

2:45 Speaker 2: you to preach so that I will be able to sorry.

2:49 Speaker 2: You want me to preach so that I will be

2:51 Speaker 2: able to release the word and people will be blessed.

2:55 Speaker 2: See when you walk with that kind of an awareness

2:57 Speaker 2: that you carry the favor of God, you will be

3:00 Speaker 2: able to see that. You know what, I'm able to

3:02 Speaker 2: complete this quickly. I'm able to do this with perfection.

3:05 Speaker 2: I'm able to go the extra mile, I'm able to

3:07 Speaker 2: do and I'm still having the time to do what

3:09 Speaker 2: I'm born to do. I'm still having the time to

3:12 Speaker 2: do what I'm created to do. See a lot of

3:14 Speaker 2: times people say, oh, John, you know what with the

3:16 Speaker 2: full time corporage, or but how can I focus on

3:18 Speaker 2: my calling with all of these family commitments? How can

3:21 Speaker 2: I ever think about doing anything beyond listen, if you

3:24 Speaker 2: have a heart where you say you know what, like

3:26 Speaker 2: the typical statement of where there's a will as a way,

3:29 Speaker 2: like if you say you know what, if you have

3:31 Speaker 2: a really heart, real heart saying you know what, God,

3:33 Speaker 2: I want you to enable me to fulfill my purpose

3:36 Speaker 2: despite these challenges, despite the opposition, because nehme are faced opposition,

3:41 Speaker 2: neheme are faced challenges, roadblocks, And it was not easy.

3:45 Speaker 2: It's not because everything was like a pitture perfect for

3:47 Speaker 2: him for him to complete the task in fifty two days.

3:50 Speaker 2: There was a lot of things that he had to

3:52 Speaker 2: deal with. But yes, the thing, despite the challenges, despite

3:55 Speaker 2: the opposition, despite the naysayers, despite all of the things

3:59 Speaker 2: that came up long he was able to stand focused

4:02 Speaker 2: and said, you know what, I'm going to get this done.

4:04 Speaker 2: And you know what, when you tap into the favor

4:07 Speaker 2: of God, that will enable you to get things done.

4:10 Speaker 2: Quickly because you see, he was working elsewhere, right, he

4:13 Speaker 2: was working in a different kingdom, he was working under

4:17 Speaker 2: the king, and he can't take a long period of fast.

4:21 Speaker 2: So he was like, you know what, let me be practical.

4:23 Speaker 2: I can't take a long leave from my job to

4:25 Speaker 2: go on this mission. Strip. Well, God can enable you

4:29 Speaker 2: to get the leave you need to fulfill that particular

4:32 Speaker 2: task in a quicker spand like if somebody else a

4:35 Speaker 2: missionary takes six months, you could finish it in just

4:38 Speaker 2: you know, like six days and just get back to

4:40 Speaker 2: your work, you know what I mean. So I want

4:43 Speaker 2: you to understand. See, I'll be honest with you. Sometimes people

4:46 Speaker 2: tell me, John, if you're really serious about ministry, you

4:48 Speaker 2: want to reach nations and minister because I love to

4:51 Speaker 2: travel and preach and I'm always open for invitations, and

4:55 Speaker 2: I say this yes with people say, oh, you know what,

4:58 Speaker 2: you should be willing to, you know, take long leaves

5:01 Speaker 2: three weeks or six months and all of that. I'll

5:04 Speaker 2: be like, you know what, that may work for people,

5:06 Speaker 2: especially those who are into a certain kind of you know,

5:09 Speaker 2: job roles, but I'm working in a corporate job. I

5:12 Speaker 2: can't do that, you know, I can at the most

5:14 Speaker 2: take leaves alongside other leaves that come along with weekends

5:19 Speaker 2: and you know, national holidays and all of that. I

5:22 Speaker 2: can just take maybe a handful of days of leave.

5:25 Speaker 2: I can't take like six months that I will lose

5:28 Speaker 2: the job by the end of it. So see, God

5:30 Speaker 2: understands the practicality and accordingly open I pray for open doors.

5:35 Speaker 2: You know what, maybe a conference over a weekend, or

5:39 Speaker 2: maybe the minister over a couple of days, maybe taking

5:42 Speaker 2: a couple of days of leave. See that is the thing.

5:45 Speaker 2: God understands your practical thing and enable you to get

5:48 Speaker 2: the task done in a quicker time than what somebody

5:51 Speaker 2: else would take. See, even if you're praying, you know

5:53 Speaker 2: the laws should bring the right person into my life.

5:56 Speaker 2: You people will say, you know what, I waited this

5:58 Speaker 2: much time, I waited for this many years. Sometimes you

6:01 Speaker 2: might have waited, yes, but at the right point in time.

6:04 Speaker 2: It can happen in a nick of time, just being

6:06 Speaker 2: at the right place at the right time, one divine

6:07 Speaker 2: connection after another. Just you don't know how God is

6:11 Speaker 2: going to bring it. Or in a similar note of

6:13 Speaker 2: praying for increase, elevation, promotion, reach, the Lord is able

6:18 Speaker 2: to do it. So today my challenge is instead of

6:21 Speaker 2: thinking that, oh, this is something that is going to

6:23 Speaker 2: take a long period of time, why didn't you trust

6:25 Speaker 2: God and say, God, you know what. I have your

6:27 Speaker 2: favor that's going to enable me to do this quickly.

6:29 Speaker 2: I have this assignment from work. Give me the wisdom,

6:32 Speaker 2: give me the skill, and enable me to do this

6:34 Speaker 2: quickly so that I can focus on my calling. Help

6:37 Speaker 2: me to complete this so that I can complete something else.

6:39 Speaker 2: Help me to do this even if somebody else says

6:42 Speaker 2: it's going to take a long period of time, Help

6:44 Speaker 2: me to do it in a nick of time. For

6:45 Speaker 2: your Kingdom's sake. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen, God
