0:46 Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta podcast. If we've been checking out our recent episodes, we're doing a series on understanding how you and I are having the fear of God resting upon us. We've been looking at radious characteristics or things that we can inculcate or remember why we have this benefit when we know that the favor of God is resting upon us and is surrounding us and carrying us through. One of the things today I want to remind you of you regard to the favor is that the favor of God causes you to do things quicker than what would normally be the case.

1:18 Speaker 2: It causes to bring acceleration in your life. Now, when you think about this, it's not just about, Oh, I want to do whatever I want to do in the favor of God just becomes like a stamp of approval. That's not what I mean. But what I'm saying is when you're doing what God has called you to do, what God has prepared or created you for, walking in your God given calling and purpose, when you are walking in your assignment, you will be able to see that favor which normally would take a longer period of time for other people, you would be able to do it in the nick of time.

1:47 Speaker 2: One of the classic examples is how Nehemeha was able to have the favor of God resting upon him to complete the building of the wall in just fifty two days. It's not possible in the natural. Imagine you have to do certain tasks which would take a long period of time in your work, and everybody else says it's going to take this many days, but you will be able to complete in a much shorter Spand how is that the favor of God enables you to do that, and most people are like, oh, striving, then you need to spend this much time.

2:16 Speaker 2: I need to do this and do that. You know a lot of times people ask me, how do you manage a full time corporate job and running the daily podcast, the ministry, social media, traveling, preaching, and all the different commitments that come along the way. It's not because I'm great or I have more hours than other people. It's just simple. It's the fact that I keep tapping in and saying, God, you know what. I need your favor. I know this is the time I want you to enable me. I have only the short spand Lord, give me the right word.

2:45 Speaker 2: I want you to preach so that I will be able to sorry. You want me to preach so that I will be able to release the word and people will be blessed. See when you walk with that kind of an awareness that you carry the favor of God, you will be able to see that. You know what, I'm able to complete this quickly. I'm able to do this with perfection. I'm able to go the extra mile, I'm able to do and I'm still having the time to do what I'm born to do. I'm still having the time to do what I'm created to do.

3:13 Speaker 2: See a lot of times people say, oh, John, you know what with the full time corporage, or but how can I focus on my calling with all of these family commitments? How can I ever think about doing anything beyond listen, if you have a heart where you say you know what, like the typical statement of where there's a will as a way, like if you say you know what, if you have a really heart, real heart saying you know what, God, I want you to enable me to fulfill my purpose despite these challenges, despite the opposition, because nehme are faced opposition, neheme are faced challenges, roadblocks, And it was not easy.

3:45 Speaker 2: It's not because everything was like a pitture perfect for him for him to complete the task in fifty two days. There was a lot of things that he had to deal with. But yes, the thing, despite the challenges, despite the opposition, despite the naysayers, despite all of the things that came up long he was able to stand focused and said, you know what, I'm going to get this done. And you know what, when you tap into the favor of God, that will enable you to get things done. Quickly because you see, he was working elsewhere, right, he was working in a different kingdom, he was working under the king, and he can't take a long period of fast.

4:21 Speaker 2: So he was like, you know what, let me be practical. I can't take a long leave from my job to go on this mission. Strip. Well, God can enable you to get the leave you need to fulfill that particular task in a quicker spand like if somebody else a missionary takes six months, you could finish it in just you know, like six days and just get back to your work, you know what I mean. So I want you to understand. See, I'll be honest with you. Sometimes people tell me, John, if you're really serious about ministry, you want to reach nations and minister because I love to travel and preach and I'm always open for invitations, and I say this yes with people say, oh, you know what, you should be willing to, you know, take long leaves three weeks or six months and all of that.

5:03 Speaker 2: I'll be like, you know what, that may work for people, especially those who are into a certain kind of you know, job roles, but I'm working in a corporate job. I can't do that, you know, I can at the most take leaves alongside other leaves that come along with weekends and you know, national holidays and all of that. I can just take maybe a handful of days of leave. I can't take like six months that I will lose the job by the end of it. So see, God understands the practicality and accordingly open I pray for open doors.

5:35 Speaker 2: You know what, maybe a conference over a weekend, or maybe the minister over a couple of days, maybe taking a couple of days of leave. See that is the thing. God understands your practical thing and enable you to get the task done in a quicker time than what somebody else would take. See, even if you're praying, you know the laws should bring the right person into my life. You people will say, you know what, I waited this much time, I waited for this many years. Sometimes you might have waited, yes, but at the right point in time.

6:04 Speaker 2: It can happen in a nick of time, just being at the right place at the right time, one divine connection after another. Just you don't know how God is going to bring it. Or in a similar note of praying for increase, elevation, promotion, reach, the Lord is able to do it. So today my challenge is instead of thinking that, oh, this is something that is going to take a long period of time, why didn't you trust God and say, God, you know what. I have your favor that's going to enable me to do this quickly.

6:29 Speaker 2: I have this assignment from work. Give me the wisdom, give me the skill, and enable me to do this quickly so that I can focus on my calling. Help me to complete this so that I can complete something else. Help me to do this even if somebody else says it's going to take a long period of time, Help me to do it in a nick of time.
