0:55 Speaker 2: First Samuel, chapter seventeen. I want you to understand this

1:05 Speaker 2: is taunting the armies of the Living God. And what

1:08 Speaker 2: happens at this time he says, you know what, I'm

1:11 Speaker 2: going to fight this. I'm just paraphrazing this because I

1:13 Speaker 2: want to get quickly to the point, because I want

1:16 Speaker 2: to share something with you. When King Saul is saying

1:19 Speaker 2: this to David and he says in verse thirty three,

1:22 Speaker 2: he says, don't be ridiculous. There's no way you can

1:24 Speaker 2: fight this philistine and possibly win. You're only a boy

1:28 Speaker 2: and he's been a man of war since his youth.

1:30 Speaker 2: But verse thirty four, I want you to understand something

1:33 Speaker 2: very important verse thirty four and verse thirty five so powerful.

1:35 Speaker 2: He says, I have been taking care of my father's

1:37 Speaker 2: sheep and goats, and when a line or a bear

1:40 Speaker 2: comes to steal a lamb from the flock verse thirty five,

1:44 Speaker 2: I go after it with a club and rescue the

1:47 Speaker 2: lamb from its mouth. If the animal turns on me,

1:50 Speaker 2: I catch it by the jaw and club it to death.

1:53 Speaker 2: Now I want you to understand something, and he goes

1:54 Speaker 2: on to say, I've done this for both lion and

1:56 Speaker 2: the bear. Now here's the point. I wanted to understand

1:59 Speaker 2: that a lot of Christian's miss right when we say

2:03 Speaker 2: how can you handle this opportunity? How can you be

2:06 Speaker 2: sure that you know when you take the step of faith,

2:08 Speaker 2: you're going to see the result, How can you be

2:09 Speaker 2: sure that this is what the Lord wants you to do?

2:11 Speaker 2: This is stupidity. It doesn't make any sense. You don't

2:14 Speaker 2: have any plan in hand, you know. I want you

2:17 Speaker 2: to understand. David did not just say, oh, come on,

2:19 Speaker 2: you need to trust in the Lord. Oh come on,

2:21 Speaker 2: you need to have more faith. He didn't say, oh,

2:24 Speaker 2: I know my God will not let me down because

2:26 Speaker 2: I've been praying, I've been looking up to the Lord.

2:29 Speaker 2: He didn't say any of that. You know what he

2:31 Speaker 2: said he said something that is so important. He said,

2:35 Speaker 2: you know what, this is what I'm going to do.

2:38 Speaker 2: I'm going to, you know, go after that with the

2:41 Speaker 2: club and rescue the lamb, and if the animal turns

2:44 Speaker 2: on me, I'm going to catch it by the jaw

2:47 Speaker 2: and club. You do that. Now, it may not make

2:49 Speaker 2: sense to you and your when you just read it,

2:51 Speaker 2: but it just daunts on you that, you know what.

2:53 Speaker 2: David knew what he was talking about. He was not

2:56 Speaker 2: talking just theory. He was talking about the practical steps

3:00 Speaker 2: in how has done this and how he plans to

3:04 Speaker 2: execute this opportunity. I wanted to understand something here. He

3:07 Speaker 2: was not just blindly saying, you know, what, Oh, I

3:10 Speaker 2: trust in the Lord. You've got to trust in the Lord. Oh,

3:12 Speaker 2: you know what, I know God will not hurt me down.

3:14 Speaker 2: God is faithful, God is good, God will do this.

3:17 Speaker 2: You know he didn't. I know, he ultimately said, you

3:20 Speaker 2: know what, it is the Lord who's going to do this.

3:21 Speaker 2: It's the lot who us had done it. He always

3:24 Speaker 2: ultimately gives out all glory and honor to the Lord.

3:26 Speaker 2: But on a practical sense, David was rooted in reality.

3:30 Speaker 2: He did not just vaguely say something. He gave the

3:34 Speaker 2: strategy that he used and which worked for him in

3:37 Speaker 2: the past, and he says that this is a strategy

3:39 Speaker 2: I'm going to use because I know it worked in

3:41 Speaker 2: the past, and I know that God will give the

3:43 Speaker 2: victory using the same strategy today. See, I want you

3:47 Speaker 2: to understand it's not enough to just say, oh, you

3:49 Speaker 2: know what, just trust in the Lord, or who just

3:52 Speaker 2: have faith or just you know, like in a very

3:55 Speaker 2: theoretical manner. You know, David thought through, he knew what

3:58 Speaker 2: he was talking about. He had a practical strategy in hand.

4:02 Speaker 2: See my question to you is if you f you're saying,

4:05 Speaker 2: you know what, I'm praying that the Lord will do this,

4:07 Speaker 2: I'm asking the Lord to do this, or I am

4:10 Speaker 2: I want others to believe in my vision and all

4:13 Speaker 2: of these things. My question is, all that is great,

4:16 Speaker 2: but on a practical note, the person who's listening to you,

4:19 Speaker 2: he may not have the same spiritual you know understanding

4:22 Speaker 2: like you do. But they may not have the same

4:24 Speaker 2: kind of you know visions from God, encounters from God,

4:28 Speaker 2: or the same spiritual wavement. For them, all they can

4:31 Speaker 2: understand is practical thought. And if you don't have something

4:34 Speaker 2: practical and solid and relatable and with a strategy in hand,

4:38 Speaker 2: they're not going to pay attention to you. You've got

4:40 Speaker 2: to come out of that religious boat and get into

4:44 Speaker 2: the strategy today. My challenge is if you've been praying

4:48 Speaker 2: for a miracle breakthrough, or you're praying for a moment

4:51 Speaker 2: like David was able to defeat Goliath, my question is

4:55 Speaker 2: are you prepared with the strategy in hand? I want

5:00 Speaker 2: to ask you, how are you going to handle this?

5:01 Speaker 2: How are you going to take the step? How am

5:03 Speaker 2: I going to see the fruit? How is this going

5:05 Speaker 2: to work out in your life? Do you have a

5:07 Speaker 2: ready made strategy? Are you having already made procedure that

5:15 Speaker 2: you can inculcate or is it just going to be

5:18 Speaker 2: blind trust? This is only going to be Oh, come on,

5:21 Speaker 2: you know what, Whatever I do, God is going to help. No,

5:24 Speaker 2: David was very clear on what he was talking about today.

5:29 Speaker 2: My challenge is, if you've been praying for a miracle,

5:31 Speaker 2: breakthrough or whatever, or if you're praying for an opportunity

5:34 Speaker 2: as well, or you're praying for the right people to

5:37 Speaker 2: support and stand with you, I challenge you to pray

5:40 Speaker 2: and make sure that you are clear on your strategy. Now,

5:44 Speaker 2: what are the things that makes it very clear that

5:46 Speaker 2: David was not lying about saying that he defeated the

5:48 Speaker 2: lion at the Bear was because he had a clear strategy.

5:52 Speaker 2: For example, when I go to an interview right for

5:54 Speaker 2: a job and I say I've worked on a certain tool,

5:57 Speaker 2: they test me and say, okay, how do you handle

6:00 Speaker 2: this tool in this kind of first scenario? How do

6:02 Speaker 2: you what are the features available in this tool? Now,

6:05 Speaker 2: if I just said in a lying manner that you know,

6:09 Speaker 2: I know this tool, but if I've not worked on it,

6:11 Speaker 2: if I don't know how the interface looks, if I

6:13 Speaker 2: don't know how the features are, I may not be

6:16 Speaker 2: able to answer do you know what I'm saying. Because

6:18 Speaker 2: I worked on that tool, I'll be able to answer

6:20 Speaker 2: and say, this is what you got to do. This

6:22 Speaker 2: is a step, this is the feature, this is the application,

6:24 Speaker 2: this is what you can use for this particular result.

6:28 Speaker 2: So same way, what gave the proof for David that

6:35 Speaker 2: convinced Saul to say, okay, let me allow David to

6:39 Speaker 2: go fight the Philistine was him coming out with a

6:43 Speaker 2: strategy saying I have done this. If he was vague,

6:47 Speaker 2: if he just you know, he said, I know there

6:50 Speaker 2: is some way I can just do it and I'll

6:52 Speaker 2: let me just figure out something. You know, if he

6:54 Speaker 2: was vague, Saul wouldn't have been convinced enough to love

6:57 Speaker 2: him to go and defeat Coliath today challenged each one

7:01 Speaker 2: of you biz get clarity and get ready with your strategy,

7:07 Speaker 2: and then you will see the Lord open the right
