0:44 Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John GIFTA. Hey, I want to start off by sharing a scripture with you, and I want to take this forward. So very familiar scripture, but I want to talk to you from the Utonomy seven, verse six and this is what it says, and I'm reading from the Nalty version. Of all the people on the earth, the Lord your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure. Of all the people on this earth, The Lord your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure. What I want you guys to understand is you may be feeling like there's nothing special about me.

1:29 I'm not a treasure or anything like that. I'm not that valuable, nothing great, so to speak about me. I'm just one of the eight billion people on Earth. I'm just mediocre. I'm just average. I'm just I'm just I'm just there. You know, you may be looking at yourself like that, but I'm here to tell you. The scripture says that of all the people on planet Earth, the Lord your God has chosen you. God has chosen you. Now. Now, when you think about an instance where somebody is chosen for something, right, like when somebody's chosen for something, maybe when they're choosing for a new sports team, what do they do.

2:08 They look at the qualities of people. You know, Okay, this person has some material to be a sportsman, so let me choose this person. They're not going to choose some Tom Dickonarry, right. They don't not going to just look at somebody and say, you know what, or you come from a lineage of sportsman, so I'm just going to choose you, even though you have nothing to do with sports. No, you will be chosen in accordance to the fact that you have something in you that is the reason why you are chosen. Are you getting what I'm saying?

2:38 You know, if you're not going to add value to the sports team, you're not going to be chosen. If you are stupid, you're not going to be chosen. If you don't have anything to offer, you're not going to be chosen. Right Like, even when they're choosing, for example, in a school, a representation in a college as a class representative or something like that, they're not going to choose, you know, somebody who's not going to fit into the role. They're going to choose somebody who's responsible. They're going to choose somebody who is capable with somebody who's having a person of integrity.

3:09 You know, they're going to look at the qualities and they're going to look at somebody and say, I'm choosing you because I know you have fit for the job. Are you getting what I'm saying now? If people are going to be so careful in choosing and the fact that it choose shows how much of value that person holds, how much of value that person brings to the table, how much more you and I can get to that place and understanding that if God chose you, which shows how valuable you are, I wanted to get this into your spirit.

3:41 Guys, the very fact that you are chosen by God of all the people in the world. Now you may be saying, what do you mean of all the people in the world, how am I chosen? If it's not an accident that you're listening to this, It's not an accident that you are in the salvation plan of Jesus Christ. It's not an accident that you understood the message of the Gospel, that you are listening to this, that you are part of this. If you're listening, if God is sending out this message to you, it's not an accident.

4:13 There's so many people out there who would love to get this message, but they are just not able to or the message hasn't reached them. The message hasn't gone to them. Maybe the enemy has blinded them. Think about it. The fact that you received this message is a message from God's saying you are to be lucky because you are chosen of the Lord. And the fact that you chosen. Understand the fact that you're chosen shows how valuable you are. You are God's most prized possession. You are is special treasure.

4:53 Get it in your spirit, guys, don't let social media define your v You don't let Hollywood or Hollywood define your value. Your value comes from the one who died for you on a piece of wood, and that is Jesus Christ. He's saying this to you. He's saying, you are chosen from all the people on the planet, and that shows that you are is treasured possession. The NAB says treasured possession. The NALT says special treasure. And and different translations say on very similar lines. Is one of the translation says prized the possession and the other one says a special people unto the Lord.

5:43 You are special guys. We are special because we are chosen of the Lord. And when we go from this approach and operate in accordance to His plan and this in and through a life, that's how we will be able to share the Gospel with other people and help them get into that fold of salvation. Helped them also understand this message that they two can be the special of the Lord, so that they can also be part of the ultimate plan of salvation that God has for mankind. Amen, God bless you.
