1:06 Speaker 2: going to talk about another important practical tool on how

1:10 Speaker 2: you can get started in terms of getting clarity. Now,

1:13 Speaker 2: yesterday I told you on the importance of pausing and

1:18 Speaker 2: taking a step back, you know, and really getting to

1:21 Speaker 2: a place where you are clearing your mind mentally, and

1:25 Speaker 2: you're also in a place where you're replenishing your physical

1:28 Speaker 2: strength because you need to be in that place where

1:31 Speaker 2: you are not having anything tied up. You're in a

1:34 Speaker 2: place of freedom, and you're in a place where you

1:37 Speaker 2: can think, you know, in a clear fashion. The Bible

1:40 Speaker 2: talks about in second Committee four, verse five, to have

1:43 Speaker 2: a clear mind in all situations. So you need to,

1:46 Speaker 2: you know, have that clear mind. And I also spoke

1:48 Speaker 2: about the importance of hearing the voice of God and

1:50 Speaker 2: challenging you to go in that pursuit of you know,

1:54 Speaker 2: hearing the voice of God for yourself. And I really

1:57 Speaker 2: could challenge you to stay tuned because in the later episodes,

2:00 Speaker 2: I'm going to talk about our door series on hearing

2:02 Speaker 2: the Voice of God. But today I'm going to talk

2:04 Speaker 2: about one important practical tool that I really believe is

2:07 Speaker 2: so important as we try to get things in structure

2:10 Speaker 2: in our place, and that is the tool of writing down.

2:15 Speaker 2: The tool of writing down. And I want to just

2:17 Speaker 2: click start by sharing this verse with you, which is

2:19 Speaker 2: very famous and popular Habercook two, verse two. It says,

2:23 Speaker 2: write the vision and make it plain on tablets. Write

2:28 Speaker 2: down the vision, write it down. See, I want you

2:31 Speaker 2: to understand. There's a reason why it says write it down.

2:33 Speaker 2: Is that it's not saying memorize it or just keep

2:39 Speaker 2: it in the back of your mind or something that

2:42 Speaker 2: you just meditate. It says, write down. There's a reason

2:45 Speaker 2: for writing down, because I want you to understand something here.

2:48 Speaker 2: Even now, much of what we hear about what the

2:51 Speaker 2: Lord wants to speak to us is through the written word,

2:55 Speaker 2: which is the Logos, the written word of God, the

2:57 Speaker 2: Bible that we have right we are not. Of course,

3:02 Speaker 2: the Lord speaks to us through other things. He speaks

3:05 Speaker 2: to us through dreams, visions, and you know, through prophecies,

3:09 Speaker 2: through people, through angelic encounter, spiritual encounters. He speaks to

3:13 Speaker 2: us to circumstances. He speaks to us through everything, because

3:16 Speaker 2: he is a God who can speak through anything and everything.

3:18 Speaker 2: Because the Bible says in Psalm twenty four, verse one,

3:21 Speaker 2: the earth and all the people in it, everything in

3:24 Speaker 2: it belongs to the Lot. So you can use anything

3:26 Speaker 2: and everything to speak to us, but everything should align

3:30 Speaker 2: with what he has written right. It should align with

3:34 Speaker 2: the logos. It can never contradict logos the written word.

3:38 Speaker 2: So I want you to understand there's a principle about writing.

3:42 Speaker 2: Why writing, Because you may have one hundred and twenty

3:46 Speaker 2: seven ideas that you want to inculcate. You are saying,

3:48 Speaker 2: you know what, especially in recent times, I've been doing

3:51 Speaker 2: a lot of one on one counseling in sessions with

3:54 Speaker 2: a lot of people who want to find clarity in

3:57 Speaker 2: their life, finding their purpose. And if you want to

3:59 Speaker 2: have one on one session, you can always reach out

4:01 Speaker 2: to me through my socials or any way that you

4:05 Speaker 2: know you want to reach out. I want to tell

4:08 Speaker 2: you that, you know, one of the things I see

4:10 Speaker 2: in people when they say, oh, I want to do

4:13 Speaker 2: the will of God, I want to do this, And

4:14 Speaker 2: when I say, okay, let's you know, try to figure

4:17 Speaker 2: out where the Lord is leading you, what is your

4:18 Speaker 2: adio purpose and all of that, and they always have, like,

4:21 Speaker 2: you know, multiple things they want to do, you know

4:24 Speaker 2: what I mean? Like I just had a conversation with

4:28 Speaker 2: somebody and they said, you know, I am really passionate

4:31 Speaker 2: I want to go into modeling. And then after a

4:33 Speaker 2: few minutes she said, but I also have a passion

4:37 Speaker 2: to do dj I want to do this, I want

4:39 Speaker 2: to do that. I said, listen, listen, let's jot down,

4:43 Speaker 2: let's write things out. Somebody else I was talking to

4:46 Speaker 2: yesterday because nowadays I've been doing a lot of these

4:49 Speaker 2: kind of counselings, and somebody said, she said, you know

4:53 Speaker 2: what I want to I want to do this kind

4:56 Speaker 2: of a business in the clothing industry, want to do

5:00 Speaker 2: this kind of counseling sessions. And I'm also interested in baking,

5:05 Speaker 2: so I want to do I said, hold your horses.

5:08 Speaker 2: Hold your horses, because you see, I'm not saying you know,

5:12 Speaker 2: I'm not discrediting something that you're interested, like like when

5:15 Speaker 2: she mentioned about baking, or when this other person mentioned

5:18 Speaker 2: about DJing, I said, listen, I know you you're passionate

5:22 Speaker 2: about a couple of things. Like if you ask me

5:24 Speaker 2: as an individual, I'm passionate about a couple of things myself,

5:27 Speaker 2: right into podcasts, YouTube, television. I'm doing multiple things in

5:33 Speaker 2: the media space. I'm also passionate about traveling and preaching,

5:35 Speaker 2: traveling and ministering to people in different settings. And you know,

5:40 Speaker 2: I'm passionate about even in the motivation space, I do

5:44 Speaker 2: a lot of stuff. I'm passionate. We all all passionate

5:46 Speaker 2: about different things. We're not you know, people who are

5:49 Speaker 2: supposed to be like, you know what, I'm a preacher,

5:52 Speaker 2: I should only do this. I'm a teacher, I should

5:55 Speaker 2: only do this, you know. Like I'm a businessman, I

5:57 Speaker 2: should only do this. No, we have different things that

6:01 Speaker 2: God can use in different areas of her life for

6:04 Speaker 2: different purposes. But what I'm trying to tell you is

6:07 Speaker 2: you need to start somewhere. You need to start somewhere. Right.

6:12 Speaker 2: God is not going to ask you to start five

6:13 Speaker 2: things in one go. He's gonna ask you start with

6:17 Speaker 2: this first, be faithful in this, and then let's branch out.

6:22 Speaker 2: You get what I'm saying. When the lot started working

6:25 Speaker 2: the ministry through me, right, it started with podcasts on WhatsApp. Okay,

6:30 Speaker 2: I started way back in twenty thirteen, twenty twelve. It

6:33 Speaker 2: was basically podcasts, right. I didn't do podcast, video, every television,

6:39 Speaker 2: all that in one go. I started with podcast and

6:42 Speaker 2: then I branched out into television and YouTube with video

6:49 Speaker 2: recordings at a television studio, and then I branched out

6:52 Speaker 2: into writing books. I branched out into different endoors that

6:56 Speaker 2: started coming out from one over the other. You get

7:01 Speaker 2: what I'm saying. I didn't do like hundred things in

7:02 Speaker 2: one go. I always, you know, I really challenge you.

7:06 Speaker 2: How do you discern which one to start? You write down?

7:09 Speaker 2: I always go back to that, like writing, what should

7:12 Speaker 2: I do this in this doing this setting? Like even

7:16 Speaker 2: when I'm for example, when I do video shoots or

7:18 Speaker 2: photo shoots or even for television shoots and all of this,

7:22 Speaker 2: you know, I will have like one hundred, ten tent

7:24 Speaker 2: seven ideas. I will like, oh I want to do this,

7:25 Speaker 2: I want to do that, But I will always get

7:28 Speaker 2: clarity into what to do first, how to go about,

7:31 Speaker 2: when to get started, what is the need of the hour?

7:34 Speaker 2: What is God speaking to me? By writing? Because when

7:38 Speaker 2: you write, you you get clarity. This illustration comes better

7:42 Speaker 2: in this sermon or this particular example will work out

7:48 Speaker 2: better for this kind of first setting. You can you

7:51 Speaker 2: can you can try a different example for podcasts. You

7:54 Speaker 2: can try a different example for a live demonstration. So

7:57 Speaker 2: like that God study giving me ideas. When I started

8:02 Speaker 2: jotting things down, you get structure in your mind when

8:07 Speaker 2: you start writing things out. And today that is my

8:10 Speaker 2: challenge to you this year, even as you're planning on

8:14 Speaker 2: you know, getting clarity, moving in the direction that God

8:16 Speaker 2: wants to go. God wants you to go. Ask God

8:19 Speaker 2: for the ability to have a discipline in writing down

8:24 Speaker 2: different things. Write it down like you have, like different ideas,

8:28 Speaker 2: write them down. Look at the plus and the minus

8:31 Speaker 2: to strings and the weaknesses, the things where you have

8:33 Speaker 2: an opportunity, the things you have a thread like for

8:36 Speaker 2: example now right now, even through the podcast and I

8:39 Speaker 2: have the YouTube, and even from the YouTube, recently I

8:42 Speaker 2: branched out where into two different languages. I'm posting out

8:48 Speaker 2: short videos dubbed into Tamil and Hindi. Okay, that's apart

8:56 Speaker 2: from the weekly Tamil Project podcast where my sermons get

9:00 Speaker 2: dubbed by somebody else. So that is again apart from

9:04 Speaker 2: the weekly television program where my sermons also have a

9:08 Speaker 2: Candida translation. So somebody was telling me, why don't you

9:11 Speaker 2: try this language, tract language? What did I do? I

9:13 Speaker 2: put on each language that was available. I started sorting.

9:17 Speaker 2: I started looking at my capacity as an individual. I

9:20 Speaker 2: can't do. If I had all the time in the world,

9:24 Speaker 2: I could dub into hundred languages, but Okay, my capacity

9:28 Speaker 2: right now is to try two languages. I look at

9:31 Speaker 2: a plus and a minus. Okay, if I do this,

9:34 Speaker 2: what will be the situation? What if I do that?

9:36 Speaker 2: What will be the advantage If I do some other language?

9:41 Speaker 2: Where will I be?

9:41 Speaker 1: There?

9:42 Speaker 2: Percussions and all of that. So I jotted down, I

9:45 Speaker 2: wrote God clarity, and then took a step of faith

9:48 Speaker 2: O create what I'm saying. So today my challenge is

9:51 Speaker 2: when you want to find your clarity in life the

9:54 Speaker 2: area that God wants you to move, start writing, Start writing,

9:58 Speaker 2: get a book, get a notebook, get a piece of paper,

10:01 Speaker 2: start jotting. Look at the strength, the weakness, the opportunities

10:04 Speaker 2: to creds everything, and according to that you know you

10:09 Speaker 2: pray in the Holy Ghost. Let the Lord speak over

10:12 Speaker 2: those and lead you to take the first step in

10:16 Speaker 2: the direction that he wants.
