0:47 Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John gift of podcast. And it's such a joy for me to be with all of you today as I am continuing the series on getting Clarity in life. And I believe that this is such a timely series, and I challenge you to go through the rest of the segments that I've talked about in the series. I believe that all of these will help you as you are journeying in discovering or getting clarity in your life as well. So today I'm going to talk about a very important parameter that you need to keep in mind with regard to getting clarity, and this parameter is known as peace.

1:19 Speaker 2: The Bible says in Collusions three fifteen that the peace of God will be your empire. Empire is like a decision making factor. The peace of God should reign over you and guiding you and telling you which way got to go, in which way you're not supposed to go. If you are going in a certain direction that you're supposed to go, you'll have that enough peace that will tell you, yes, you're in the right track, even in the midst of all the chaos that is around you. Whereas if you're going in the wrong track, even if everything looks good, if it looks promising, if it looks like it's a God thing, still you will have a tea unrest if you're not where God wants you to be.

1:56 Speaker 2: I remember there was a time when I was stuck in an organized just I do not know off me if you know this, but I'm actually an aerospace engineer and minister of the Gospel, and I forsed to work in an organization which was very toxic. It was not a good organized organization, and no matter what I tried. I was never able to lead that organization. It was like I was stuck there. There was a limited growth and the salary was too low, and I was struggling to maneuver through that season. But there was this inner peace from God, like, you know, you got to stay here.

2:29 Speaker 2: You got to stay here for a while. And only when God wanted me to make a move, he showed me through visions saying, you know, it's time to make a move. And there was an opportunity that came along the way, and God helped me make the move. See that's what I wanted to understand. You need to move as fer the leaning of the Holy Spirit. And one of the ways that the Holy Spirit leads and guides you is through that piece. See when I mean peace, I'm not saying that everything will be fine, everyone will be supportive, everything will work out very very great in the sense of the outside.

2:59 Speaker 2: But sometimes peace means in the midst the storm. You know, God wants you to be here, in the midst of the storm. You know this is a step that you need to take, in the midst of all the noise. There is that clear direction from God saying I wanted to go in this particular way, and I wanted to understand, like even in my life, so many times I've seen this where there was a moment where I had this great opportunity and I was really looking forward to it, and I always wanted it, and I thought this was a great audition to try, and it was a ministry opportunity.

3:31 Speaker 2: And I had spent an hour and a half and went to this particular place, but somehow I do not have peace. I had so much of undress. You see, even if it's a god thing or a spiritual thing, even if it's a good thing, even if there is nothing explosively bad in it, if it is not of the Lord, you will have that unrest. I was speaking in tongues, speaking in tongues, and I was constantly feeling unrest. And then I left that place and went see he used the thing I wanted to understand, to get to that place where you are allowing that peace of God to reign and rule over you, to be that empire in your life.

4:09 Speaker 2: There was a moment when similarly, I looked at this very good opportunity and I was like, you know what I want this. It looks really good. I think this is from the Lord. But there was an unrest, but I did not pay attention those a couple of days when I was involved in it, I did not sleep even a bit, but I just did not get it. I did not realize that this was not from God. I mean I didn't I mean for in this, since the undrest was a sign from God saying you got to watch out. But because I didn't pay attention to it, what happened, it ended up in a very bach place.

4:47 Speaker 2: So that's why you need to learn to discern. You need to learn to discern if this is from the Lord or not through the peace or the unrest. If you have the peace from the Lord, you know this is from God.

4:59 Speaker 1: Go.

5:00 Speaker 2: I still remember there was a moment when we had to choose and finalize the logo for the ministry, especially if you had seen on my YouTube videos or the television programs or any of those banners. You to see the JJI the John Gift International Ministry logo. And the thing about this logo is I about about ten years ago I had set up a competition to set out and finalize a brand new logo for the ministry. And this time I had almost finalized on the wrong one because it looked like everybody, especially the close ones who were, you know, giving me recommendation, said this is someone you've got to go with.

5:45 Speaker 2: And somehow I did not have peace. But I just said, you know what, if everybody is saying, let me go with it. And I even sent a message to the person that you know what, I guess I'm going to choose your design for this logo and you're going to win this competition. But that night I did not sleep even a bit. I was like rolling and I was having so much of unrest. And then as I was speaking in tongues and praying, you know, another design came into my mind and I felt the peace about it, and I felt I should go with that.

6:19 Speaker 2: And what did I do? Even though I had already decided to go with the other one and supposedly finalized on it. I backtracked and I said, I'm sorry, but I'm making a change. And then I chose this particular one, which a lot of times even now, people say, oh, your nomal looks really cute. It's standing out, it looks very professional. See what I wanted to understand is this important truth, right, even if a hundred people tell you in a different way, follow the peace that God is giving you. Don't allow the undrest to you know, you know, make you feel like you know what?

6:56 Speaker 2: Oh even though I feel this underside, need to just allow that to die and oh no, allow that handrest to also guide you and say, maybe this is not what God wants. Maybe I need to reevaluate my choices. And so I really challenge you today that you know you will allow peace to be your empire, that you will allow God's peace to reign over your life, and you will allow these undrests to be those factors that tell you to take a step back, revaluate, and you will make the right choice for your life.
