record holder, aerospace engineer, life coach, evangelist, and founder of John
Gifta International. Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. As we're
talking about the various aspects we'd forgot to finding on no in God's will for
a life, or to make decisions in a life, or to go through
a life, and we are saying, John, things are not working out
the way I wanted. Everything I've been praying and hoping and believing and fasting
and looking up to the Lord for to change in this regard in my life.
Somehow they are not happening. And maybe I don't understand why God's will
is not working out in my life. And that is the kind of a
place you could be today, as you are listening to me, you could
say, John, I don't know why. Because I'm praying, I'm fasting,
I've been doing everything to the best of my ability. I've been putting
my best foot forward, but I'm still not seeing the kind of result that
I've been hoping and believing for all you can say, John, I have
the faith and trust and reliance upon the Lord, and I know that we
serve a God who can then turn the tables around this completely. I know
the power of a God. But still, no matter how long I pray,
no matter how many times I'm praying, or no matter you know whatever,
I go through all these conferences, I go through all these different sermons,
and I try to incorporate those skis and those strategies, you know,
the different Bible studies and all of that. I'm trying, but still I'm
not seeing the result in my life. John, I don't understand why I'm
not able to discernd God's will. Why my life is not asper God's will.
Now, let's take it slow. I totally understand what you're saying,
because this is the kind of a question I had a couple of years ago
when I was constantly like you know what. I knew that God has called
me in the area of my ministry. I was constantly in this place where
I'm like, you know what, this is where I'm able to see a
favor in ways I cannot even imagine. I'm seeing those open or I see
the new levels in front of me. The favor of God there, you
know, being showcased and men through my life. But somehow I'm not able
to step into it and you know, you know, to see the fullness
of my destiny. So it has always been like this constant battle where I
used to keep saying, God, I know that is what is your will
for me. I know that it's where you have my ultimate plan and will
and destiny for my life. But somehow I just don't understand God. I
just don't understand God, why things are not favorable for me, why things
are not working out. I think I shared this couple of times with you,
and you may know by now you know I've had immense opposition from family
and you know, so many reasons I'm not able to step in into the
fullness of my destiny. But yes, the thing I wanted to understand it
I didn't understand this part. Before I was like, no matter what I
pray that. You know, sometimes people used to come and say, maybe
John, you should pray like this and pray like that, or you know,
by this time you will see the change and things like that. But
I'm so sorry. But none of that worked, and it used to lead
me into more depression and disappointments. And that's why I've come to understand this
that yes, you want your circumstance to change, because that's what you think
is God's will. But maybe, just maybe, what if your circumstance is
not changing because this circumstance is a part of God's will for your life for
this season. What if this circumstance that you're fighting against and wrestling against and
saying, I don't want this, It's not for me. What if you're
fighting against something which is actually from God or of God for your life for
this season. What if this is a part of God's will for your life.
Yesterday I reminded you of one of the scriptures where I said, in
the Book of the Salonians, he says, give thanks to the Lord in
everything, for this is God's will for you. What if this very thing
which you're fighting against is actually a part of God's will for you. Now,
I'm not saying that there is no aspect of spiritual warfare. I'm not
saying that you know there are things that need not change in your life.
I'm saying that you know God can still turn the tables around. God can
still make a difference in your life. I totally agree and believe in all
of that. But what I'm saying is maybe for this season. I'm not
saying this is how you're always going to be. That's not what I'm saying.
What I'm saying is maybe for this season is God's will for you,
and maybe you are fighting against God's will for you. Just think about it.
Think about it. See, I want to share again from yesterday's scripture
as well as a couple of other scriptures that I told you from Genesis forty
two, verse twenty one, talking about Joe. Many times we look at
Joseph and say, Wow, he's this inspirational, motivational figure. No matter
what he went through, he kept a good attitude, He didn't complain,
he was always showcasing a spirit of excellence. He always went the extra mild.
He was a person of integrity, he honored God, and things like
that. We always look at all those qualities, but it reminded you of
this important aspect. And I want to remind you again to connect to what
I'm going to tell you today. You see, when the brothers are talking
about Joseph, they are saying that we saw how distressed Joseph was and he
pleaded with us for his life, but we would not listen. And other
translation says that, you know what, he was filled with anguish and he
was begging us. He had distress of his soul when he was begging us.
What you understand from this is, you know what, today we look
at Joseph from the end of the story and we say, wow, Joseph
is the person who was her saying you know what you meant for harm,
got turned it around for good. Or he said you know what, yes,
you sent me out, but it was actually God who sent me out
in advance to prepare to save all these people from the famine. That is
a very good place to look at Joseph that year. You see this very
Joseph was not when they were selling him out, or when they were treating
him badly, or you know, in the beginning. Joseph was not just
walking out and saying, you know, what you guys are doing as harm
for me is going to turn it around from good. God is going to
turn the tables around in my life. Joseph was not saying that he was
not walking towards you know, the slave master or whatever. Happily. The
Bible says that he was distressed. The Bible says he was dreading it.
He was filled with anguish, and he had the distress in his soul,
and he was begging and he was pleading with his brothers because he didn't want
that. But you see, even you look at the big picture, it
was all a part of his life's planned by home Mighty God, God ordained
everything. That's where you realize that even though you're going through something that's unfair
and not something that you want, maybe uncomfortable, it's something that you really
wish would not be the part and parcel of your life. Maybe you're going
through a season which you just dread so much. You're saying, John,
I just can't take this anymore. I just don't want this anymore. I
want to change. Maybe you're fighting against the very thing that God has for
you. Think about it, because Joseph himself was If you look at it
from the end of the story, you realized that Joseph was distressed and he
was upset. He didn't want something he was fighting against something that was actually
ordained or was a part of God's divine plan to save nations affected by the
famine. See when you think about even Jesus, if you see in Luke
twenty two was forty two, you realize, yes, Jesus is almighty God
when he walked on planet thirty was the son of man. You have to
understand something very important here as an individual. When he was talking to his
heavenly father, he says in Luke twenty two, forty two, he says,
if you are willing Taket's cup from me, Hello, you came here
to save humanity. You came here for this cup, and you yourself are
asking if you could change the circumstance. But circumstance did not change. Why
because God's will was that he had to go through it, no matter how
many times Joseph pleaded and begged his circumstance to not change. But what we
realized that in everything he put his best foot forward. He was not complacent.
He was not sitting on the sidelines. He was not bitter. He
operated from a spirit of excellence. That he was put in charge of his
slave master's household. He was put in charge even in the prison. That
shows that he was not living an opposite life just because life was mean to
him. He understood that it was all a part of God's plan and will,
even though it was hard. Think about it. I want to close
with another example, and that is about King David. Even before he became
king. You have to remember that for many years Saul was hunting him down,
chasing him, trying to kill him. It didn't happen for one day,
two days. It went on for years. Now when I checked this
out, not that many people know or even commentaries or the exact number of
years he had to run for his life. You don't know. It could
be four years, it could be thirteen years, it could be whatever it
was for many years, right, think about it. A circumstance did not
change for many years. And there were chances when he actually got an opportunity
to kill Saul and put an end to that, but he didn't take it
in his own hands. He didn't do that. See I wanted to understand
something. Yeah, sometimes things don't change for many years. I mean like
when I look at my own life for many years, as I kept thinking,
you know, by this time, you know, things would change.
I would see this difference, this would happen. That would happen, or
you know, maybe I would get support from family, or maybe the ministry
would be established. I taught so many things, but things then go as
planned. But yes, the thing I want you to understand, I've just
come to realize just because my circumstance isn't changing doesn't mean I'm not in line
with God's will. Maybe circumstances not changing because I am in God's will,
And maybe this circumstance is a part of God's plan for my life. If
this wasn't happening in my life, maybe you know, I would be in
a different place altogether. But maybe God is allowing the so that he would
guide me and mold me to where he wants me to be. Because David
was constantly being hunted by Saul for so many years, maybe all of that
was a part of his preparation to be the king, which involves a lot
of you know, hunting and fighting war and all these things right, So
today I want you to think about it for a minute. Are you fighting
against something that's actually, you know, ordained by God. Remember I said,
maybe this is only a part of God's plan for this season. I'm
not saying this is a permanent thing. What I'm saying is maybe for a
season, this is where God wants you to be. Maybe your circumstance is
not changing, not because you have not tried all the strategies and keys in
the world. Maybe it's not changing because God as his will centered around where
you are right now, in this current situation, in this current circumstance.
So that's what I want to share with you guys today. You may be
praying, you may be believing, you may be bleeding begging. You know
so many times. I'll just close you this again. I know I said
this already, but you know so many times, as I've shared before also
in one of my episodes, you know, the last couple of months to
years, I put so much of effort towards my podcast, towards my YouTube
channel, and it used to be so discouraging. I'll be honest in saying
this to you. Especially in my YouTube channel, I put so much of
effort every video. I mean, in fact, even today was recording a
new video which is going to be the three hundred video coming up and maybe
in one or two days special skit and all of that. I spend so
much of time in the recording. I put so much of effort, you
know, with the every aspect of it. I put so much of effort,
and when you don't see the fruit, it's so discouraging. But I
have to come to that place. I thought, you know what, maybe
my YouTube will take off, maybe one video which goes why it will change,
you know, the course of my life. I would be able to,
you know, see a growth and new doors and new opportunities coming my
way. But it didn't happen yet. But I've come to that place where
I say, God, this is where you have placed me. I don't
want to fight against what you have placed because I've given my life into your
hands. I'm putting my best foot forward. I have the faith I trust
you. But by the end of the day, if that circumstances still not
changing, I just choose to trust that you know what you're doing with my
life. I choose to trust that this is your will for me. For
this season of my life. And when you do that, I'm sure that
God is going to honor you and He will definitely lead you step by step
by step by step into the new new things as you understand God's will in
very serious of your life. I'll talk about the next aspect of knowing God's
will in the next episode. See you tomorrow, God bless you. You've

If your heart stops beating, now, do you know where you're going?
If you came face to face with death? Now do you know where you're
going? And this is not a message of condemnation. This is a message
of hope. That is a God who loves you so much he send his
only son, Jesus Christ to come down and pay a heavy price by shedding
every drop of his blood on the cross. Thank you for dying for my
sins. When you believe in Him, you have free gift or salvation for
you that it shows us that we will go to heaven when we die instead
of suffering in hell forever. I just encourage you today to make the simple
