Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. Yesterday, as in continuation with us CDs on Knowing and Finding God's Life, I spoke about an important aspect on how God can reveal his will to us through dreams. I encourage you to check it out. I'm sure it will be an eye open up for some of you, and it will also be something that you would want to consider when you want to know maybe God is actually speaking to you and showing you something through your dreams, but you're not harnessing that important thing that God is using to guide you towards the direction for your life.

Now the next aspect which I told you that I will talk about and cover in today's episode is the aspect of how God can use visions to speak to us and guide us. Now, when it comes to the aspect of visions, I've done a detailed episode on the aspect of visions with the prophet is Shuta Cup Priscilla. I'll probably put the link to the YouTube video or the session that I had with on this description as well as the link to it on Apple and Spotify, you can probably check it out, or in any of the platforms that you're listening, you can just scrawl down and you'll definitely find that episode and you can learn more in depth about various aspects about how visions are irrelevant in today's world and how you can see God use visions to speak to us.

You know, the Bible says in the Book of Joel that which is something that the Personal Beater also repeated, and he was talking about one of the signs of the last days is that, you know, the old men will see dreams and young men will see visions. Right. It's it's not just saying that, Okay, John, I'm not a man, I'm a girl, or I'm too old, So I don't think I fit into this category of visions. No, that's not what it means is it's trying to come and tell that you know what, the Lord is going to pour out his spirit on all flesh.

That means every one of us God is going to use. And there are so many different ways God can speak. I'm not saying that you should look at only visions, but visions is certainly one of the ways that God can speak to us. And today I'm going to talk about how you know God can actually speak. Even even if you've seen the scripture, God spoke to Abraham through visions. God spoke through so many of the prophets through visions, whether it's was Isekia or Daniel or Jeremiah or anybody. Even in the New Testament when you see God spoke to the apostle Peter through vision, He spoke to Apostle Paul through visions.

And you know even John the Revelator had many visions. So it's something that you see, whether it was in the Old Governant, Whole Testament, or even in the New, you've seen that God uses visions to speak to his people. Right, So I want to share a couple of scriptures with you in the line of our topic, Like you're saying, yes, God can speak through visions, but you know, yeah, we're talking about the aspect of how God who can use visions to guide us through us, you know, his will for our life, or he can speak to us through visions to let us know the direction or the choice we need to make and the direction that we need to take as well.

So I'm going to share a couple of scriptures with you and then we can take it forward as well. Right If you see, for example, in Acts chapter nine, verse ten, it says, now there was a disciple that Damascus named Ananias, and the Lord said to him in a vision, Ananias and and and he's the one who is sent to go and speak the gospel or preach the gospel to the apostle Paul, who just had an encounter. He the apostle Paul, was in a mission to go and kill all the Christians, and Jesus appears to him, and he has an encounter and now he is um, you know, like he lost his sight.

And here is a man God uses a vision to guide him to the apostle Paul. And if you see. In Acts chapter ten, God uses a vision to speak to Apostle Peter and tells him to go to Cornelius's house to preach to the Gentiles. Because Apostle Peter was not ready to preach to the genders. He was thinking the Gospel is only for the Jews. So God uses a vision to tell him about his next step. God uses a vision to guide him in what movie needs to make next. Another example is found in Acts sixteen, verse nine, where a vision appeared to Apostle Paul when he was contemplating on where he should go next to know what is God's will for him in the next stage.

And in the nine he gets a vision of a man from Macedonia standing and appealing to him come over to Macedonia and help us. So that vision is what guides him to us taking the step saying okay, God is directing us towards Macedonia. Or even if you see an Acts chapter twenty two seventeen to eighteen, news see, God uses a vision or a trance to tell them, you know, make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly because they will not accept your testimony about me. So what you realize is God uses visions to guide you to the direction that you need to go.

God uses the visions to protect you from places that you should not go. God uses visions to tell you and prepare you and to lead you in the step that you need to take. So don't neglect the aspect of visions. See for example, But I was working in my previous organization. Now some of you know this, but for those who do not know, Apart from a ministry, the podcast and all the other things, I also work in an organization. I'm an aerospace engineer. So when I was working in my previous organization, two months before a particular time, I got a vision.

And you know what the vision was. The vision was basically like this, that I'm coming towards the end of the road in my current organization. And I see this vision and I see that I come to the end of the road, and then I take a new direction. And this is with a vision that I see and I'm like, I don't know what it means, but I just knew in my spirit that Okay, this is what it means. Like I see this vision, I just take it, take hold of it, and then God, okay, I see that I'm coming to the end of the road.

What steps do you want me to take? And I just pray about it all right, And almost two months later, one particular day, I get a vision that I'm actually at the end of the road, and I still do not know what's happening in the organization because everything seemed like everything is like the same, There was no visible change on the outside. But this is the vision I saw. I saw this vision that I was actually at the end of the road, and I'm waiting and I don't know what to do. And as I'm constantly waiting for quite some time, Jesus himself comes and leads me into the new direction.

Now I was gonna like contemplating on this what does this mean, because like it doesn't make sense. And the next day something just out of the blue came around in this organization, and that day happened to be my last day there. Now I was like, oh my goodness, I didn't see this coming in the natural, but God already showed it to me that this was in store, this was what was coming. So when it was actually like a surprise, when it not only happened for me, but it happened for a couple of other people it was.

It was like a surprise for others, but for me. By the end of the day, I was like, I already knew about this, and God had already prepared me for this. And even though it seemed uncertain, even though it was like, you know, see how much when you prepare, you know that the moment is the moment, right, you can prepare for something no matter how much you prepare, when you are hitting that moment, you're like, oh my goodness, it's all like you know when you're when you're landing an aircraft. You can have the best pilot flying a plane, but when you're hitting the ground, what happens?

You know the plane will have a little bit of jerk, right, That's that's how it is. So this is exactly how I felt. No no matter how much you're prepared, no matter how much you knew this was coming you, God had already showed that. You know what, Yes, you are coming to the end of this road, but wait, hold on, I will come and lead you in a new path. So God used the vision to not only tell me about something that was in front of me, but that vision kind of gave me the idea that whatever was coming to me now was in a new direction, what I'm saying.

And so finally, even though I was thinking in so many different ways, I thought, maybe the direction means like I will be into fourth time ministry or something like that. I mean, I was thinking maybe it's something like that. It wasn't that way. But whatever new job that I got, and the domain and everything was you know, totally different compared to the role and the kind of atmosphere and the job and the domain. Everything was totally different. Right, So it was totally a new direction for me.

So when I look at it, it's like, oh my goodness, God showed this to me. So even when I had to choose the next organization, the next job, there were two jobs in hand, and there were so many factors to look at, and one of the factors was when I when I introspected in the light of the vision. The other job was just like, okay, you you leave this organization and you get into another organization which is very similar, same domain, same kind of a job, role, everything is the same. But this one was different.

This one was like, you know, a totally new direction for my life. And so when when when And I had to make the choice. You know, I I, of course I weigh down all the you know, the pless and the miners of everything and all of that stuff. But you know, by the end of the day, when I think it came down and chose the other opportunity, I realized that it was actually matching or it was in line with a vision that God already showed me. So I can give you so many examples from my life how God has used visions to guide visions to show me what step to take, which direction to or which move to make, and things like that.

So that's why I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that God can use visions to speak to us. Okay, so today, if you are somebody who's saying John, but God has never spoken to me through visions, if you're I mean, I'm not saying that it's a must that you should get visions. It's not that only if you get visions you are holier than somebody else. Only if you get visions you're from the Lord. Only if you get visions you will go to Heaven. That's not what I mean. But maybe if you have the thirst than the hunger, or you're saying John, if it would be really great if God would speak to me through visions and give me clarity through visions.

I'll pray with you right now that the Lord will open your spiritualize that you will start seeing visions, and that God will use those visions to guide you as well. Listen, when it comes to dreams, visions, signs, all these names, you should all always be cautious that by the end of the day it should align with the word of God. Again, that's something you should always be cautious, but always remember that it's always nice and it's always something biblical. That God still uses visions to speak to his people and to guide them in the direction that they need to go.

All right, So I pray for every single person who's listening to me from across the global God, I pray that for those who have that hunger and the thirst for visions, that you will speak to them or show them visions in their life and they will see that. You know, the Lord uses visions to guide them. But God, we're not forcing it. We are not saying that only if we get visions we are great. That's not what you were saying. We're saying God, if it's your will show visions. If not, you can speak to us anyway, but help us, God, guide us, lead us.

And I pray that every single one when they are in that quest to discover your will and your purpose for their life, I pray that you will reveal it to them to the fullest in Jesus name, I pray Amen and Amen.
