1:00 about the various aspects with regard to finding and knowing God's will for our lives,

1:04 I want to take you through on the next aspect, which I believe

1:08 is very important for us to know what is God's will or for us to

1:15 make the right decisions in our life as well, and that is to hear

1:19 the voice of God. In fact, even in tomorrow's episode, I'm going

1:23 to talk on very similar lines, but I'm going to involve the Holy Spirit

1:27 in a deeper fashion in my explanation tomorrow, where we'll be talking about walking

1:36 in the spirit and being led by the spirit of God. But today I'm

1:40 going to just give you a little bit about the aspect of hearing the voice

1:45 of God. I want you to understand that hearing the voice of God is

1:48 not just for the elite or chosen group of people, or for somebody who

1:53 has reached a high level in their ministry or something like that. Three one

2:00 of us under the sound of my voice. I wanted to understand that we

2:05 have this privilege as children of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords,

2:09 to have that ability to hear the voice of God. Every one of

2:17 us can hear his voice, every one of us. And I want you

2:23 to understand something very important here. Even if you see through the scriptures,

2:28 God spoke through various people. God spoke to Abraham, or God spoke through

2:35 a prophet Samuel or so many different prophets, or God spoke to Apostle Paul

2:40 or Apostle Peter, or you know, it's something that you see a right

2:46 across from the Old Testament to the New Testament, because we serve a God

2:52 who wants to speak to us. In fact, in one of the episodes

2:58 about a few months I spoke about the aspect of prayer, and I told

3:02 you guys that prayer is not just talking to God. Prayer is talking with

3:07 God. That means you don't just go to God and just be like,

3:10 Okay, God, these are my prayer requests, are all the things I'm

3:15 praying about, and then just leave. That's not the way we're supposed to

3:17 be. If we are supposed to be in a place where we're in a

3:21 relationship with God in such a way that we go to him, we talk

3:23 what we want to tell him, but at the same time we take time

3:28 to listen to what He wants to tell us as well. The Bible is

3:31 very clear where the Bible says in the Book of John ten twenty seven,

3:36 my sheep will hear my voice. I want you to understand. The Bible

3:39 says in Isaiah thirty, verse twenty one, Behold, there's a voice behind

3:45 you telling you which way you need to go, whether turn to the left

3:47 or turn to the right. The Bible says in Amost three, verse seven,

3:52 Behold, the soul and Lord does nothing else but reveal his plans to

3:54 his children. The Bible says in Genesis after eighteen, verse seventeen when God

4:00 was speaking about Abraham and he said, how can I hide from Abraham what

4:03 I'm about to do. What we understand from these scriptures is the fact that

4:09 the God we serve, it's not a god who just keeps mum or he

4:12 doesn't just keep things to himself. He doesn't just keep you know, everything

4:16 like hidden. But he is a God who wants to reveal. He is

4:20 a God who wants to have a fellowship with you. He is a God

4:25 who wants to tell you, and he wants to give you all the details

4:28 for your life. So my question to each and every one of you under

4:31 the sound of my voice is this, Are you taking time to listen to

4:36 the voice of God? Are you taking time to listen to God? Think

4:45 about it. But John, I don't hear his voice. I don't know

4:50 why God is not talking to me. I don't know if God is around

4:55 me or he even wants to talk to me. John. About two weeks

5:00 ago, I released a new skit video on my YouTube channel. I'll probably

5:05 put a link to that on the description, or you can take it out

5:08 on my YouTube channel where I spoke about or show this example of how one

5:15 of the biggest reasons we feel that God is not talking or we are not

5:19 able to hear his voice. It's not because God is not there. It's

5:24 not because he doesn't want to talk. It's actually because he's right there and

5:29 he is talking. But we are caught ourselves up with a noise all around

5:33 us, and we are so engrossed with our own things that we don't actually

5:39 take the time to listen or to take the time to see what God wants

5:44 to tell us. That's the point. Many people today are not hearing God's

5:49 voice, not because God doesn't want to talk to them. God is speaking

5:55 to them, but they just close themselves, or because they's just caught up

6:00 in their own knitty world. They're just in their own noisy environment. You

6:08 have to get to a place where you know what you have that in a

6:15 conversation with the Lord. Quiet in yourself and say God, yes, I

6:21 may be in a noisy environment. God, yes I may be distracted by

6:29 a lot of things, but I'm going to take some time out and listen

6:33 to what you want to tell me. God. I want to have that

6:36 kind of a dialogue with you, a relationship where I want to talk with

6:42 you. God speak to me. When you have that heart, God will

6:48 definitely speak to you. God will definitely reveal things to you. He's saying,

6:56 how can I hide from Abraham what I'm about to do. He's not

7:00 saying, oh, I don't want to show to Abraham. I don't want

7:03 to reveal things to Abraham. No, it's like, how can I hide?

7:10 And you have to remember, like I've said before as well, if

7:14 you read through the Book of Romans and Collections, the blessings of Abraham are

7:17 ours. And if God is saying, how can I hide from Abraham what

7:20 I'm about to do? Abraham was the epitome of faith. Abraham was a

7:27 picture of a friend of God. And the Bible says in the Book of

7:30 Matthew, when Jesus said, I am calling you my friend, the Bible

7:34 says that do you and I have to walk by faith and not by side.

7:38 And it just like Abraham's faith was accounted to him as righteousness, our

7:42 faith is accounted to us as righteousness. So we look at it in the

7:46 same picture, and we see that God is asking you the same question,

7:49 how can I hide from John what I'm about to do? How can I

7:54 hide from any what I'm about to do. How can I hide from Gloria,

7:59 what I'm about to do? How can I hide from whatever your name

8:03 is, what I'm about to do? Think about it. God is asking

8:09 that question. He wants to reveal things to you. Are you taking the

8:16 time to listen to him. Are you taking the time to put off the

8:24 destruction of the world, to reduce the volume in your environment to listen to

8:35 what God wants to tell you? Have that two way relationship with God where

8:41 you just don't go and pour out everything and come off, but you take

8:46 time to listen to him. And when you are in that place, He's

8:50 going to reveal things to you. He's going to reveal his plans for you.

8:56 He's going to reveal what is his will for you. You will definitely

9:01 do that. Why don't you take this commitment today and say God, speak

9:09 to me, Speak to me. Oh God, I want to hear your

9:16 voice. And you make a simple prayer like that and say God speak to

9:24 me. You will definitely speak to you. Amen. I'll see you back
