doing the CDs on the aspect of knowing and finding God's will for a life

and how to ensure that we are not going by our own way, but

we're going asper the will of God has asper what God has in store for

us to fulfill his call and his purpose for our life. To ensure that

you know, we're not living for ourselves, but we're living to enhance His

kingdom. We've been talking about various aspects and knowing and finding God's will,

and even in yesterday as I was talking about the aspect that many of us

fail to, you know, take into consideration the aspect of common sense and

the prior to that, I spoke about the aspect of wisdom, because you

see, I totally agree with the aspect where we should be, you know,

talking about the spiritual aspects and what we call us the spiritual aspects and

term them as you know, what you should be led by God. It

should be asper God's word, and you know, it should be how the

spirit of the Lord is directing you, and you have to hear the voice

of God. All that is so true. You know, you should have

the faith in God. And all these aspects are so true because we're covering

every aspect of it. But what I realize is, sometimes, you know,

people tend to go through the other extreme of over spiritualizing things to a

place where they give no room for things like what I'm talking about, you

know, the aspect of wisdom, the aspect of common sense, and in

today's case, I want to talk about the aspect of obsession. You had

to understand something very important here. Sometimes we all have desires, no doubt

about it. We all have dreams and wishes and aspirations and goals, and

we're just asking the Lord, Lord, this is what I really wish and

would happen, and through my life, I really long for these kind of

opportunities or didoor or this kind of a person to step into my life or

you know, you know that my business or my ministry, or my YouTube

channel or my podcast or anything that I do. Maybe you're a person of

sports, or maybe you're a person of music and arts or anything under the

sun, and you're asking God for a breakthrough in that area. It's all

good to ask and desire to see all of those things. But yes,

I want you to understand you have to be cautious that that desire, that

the dream or that aspiration, that's not become your obsession. You have to

be very careful about this. Sometimes we can be so obsessed with something,

We can be so obsessed in getting something. We can be so obsessed about

a miracle or a breakthrough that we can be in a place where we can

be used by the enemy or be vulnerable in the sense that the enemy knows,

okay, this person is very much in need of this particular thing that

he can easily manipulate and trick you. And to go to a place where

you can think what you want as if that is what God wants. That's

a very dangerous place to be. And I encourage you to really really be

careful and be cautious about this, because we may low something, we may

like something, we may want something that is a good intention, but you

keep feeding on it to an extent where that desire becomes your obsession, to

a place where you say, I will not accept anything less than what I

want. It is very, very dangerous to be because when you get to

that place, the enemy can play up with you. When you get to

that place, whether it's your mind, whether you see your perspective, whether

it is your attitude, whether it's your behavior, everything can be manipulated to

an extent where you want something so badly, but it can be manipulated or

twisted to make it look as if you know this is what God wants.

See for example, when you want to talk about my life right, some

of you may know this, but some of you may not know this.

But I'm still you know. Single. So one of the things that any

single young person would be anxious or concerned about, or would constantly pray about,

would be praying for their life partner, right, especially when it comes

to my ministers, and there are so many things involved. So I'm kind

of like, you know, God, you know what this is, what

it is, and things like that. You know, the ultimatum of the

things that I've been praying with regard to the person that God is going to

bring into my life. Um, but there is one particular design which is

kind of like, you know, out of the ordinary, right, Um,

this desire like you know, if I wish I could marry a person

of a different from nationality, right, and it's it's kind of like um

or something different. But I just have that desire. So now listen,

what do I do about it? I have to be cautious that this desire

that's not become an obsession. You get what I'm saying. So what do

I do? I tell the Lord just what I do. So that's why

I'm going to talk about. Is what I do is God either. But

this is my desire. I committed to you because I believe that the same

way, just for the sake of one girl called Ruth, if you were

able to move one family from one nation to another nation, I believe you

are able to do similar thing in my life. Just to connect me with

the right person according to my desire. So what do I do is I

take the scripture and I stand by the scripture, and I commit that scripture

and the desire into hands of God. So what do I do is,

Okay, I go to the Lord and I say, God, listen,

this is from your word. There is a possibility where just for one girl,

there was a family which moved from one nation to another. So that

means there is a possibility where you can transcend nationalities, you can transcend boundaries,

you can transcend anything to make this dream or desire to come to pass.

So I stand by the word and I commit my desire into the Lord's

heads. Right next, I also take the limits off and trust him.

You know me, I have the gift of faith. I have the place

where I just trust the Lord and you know, go to any extent.

Right. Even though people may say, you know, that's one in a

million chance, I believe that if it's For example, when Jesus told Peter

to put down the hook, he was able to catch the fish, exact

fish that had a coin which was more than enough for him to meet his

needs. Imagine, out of probably thousands of fishes in that place, he

caught the exact right fish that was able to meet is need. So I

believe, even if it's a one in a million chance, I believe it

is. If it is from the lawn, it is going to happen.

So what do I do? I take up the scripture you know with a

God to your desire or your dream, you take up based on the word

of God. You come in your dream of your desire into God's hands.

At the same time, what do you do You show yes, God,

just like for Peter, you were able to make one in a million thing

to become a reality for him. I believe that even if it's a rare

thing, even if it looks impossible, I believe You're able to do it

for me. So what you do? You could take the desire committed to

the God's sense. You show to God that you have the faith and the

trust reliance upon Him and you're open about it. Then you say, God,

now, even though this is what I really desire, and I really

hope, and I really wish, and I really want and I really dream

about, and I have the faith that you can make it come to pass.

But yet not my will. But let your will be done, not

my will, but let your will be done. That's the place that you

and I need to be, in a place of total surrender, where we

say God, I have this dreamed, this desire, but that dream and

desire is not my obsession. Because an obsession can lead you to destruction.

Obsession can lead you to destruction. If you want to know how well,

it out. I've already done this aspect before, so I don't want to

repeat the same example in this episode again. But it's true when you're very

obsessed in getting what you want, the enemy can mess up with your mind.

He can twist you, cause you to justify what you want as if

it is from the Lord. That's why I have to be very clear where

I say God, this is my desire. This is not something I'm saying.

You know, it's the Lord who put it. You have to be

cautious, and I have to constantly introspect myself and see is this my obsession

or is it just a desire, because if it's an obsession, you have

to be cautious and ask the Lord too deal with it. How do I

know if it's an obsession or just a desire? Is my willingness to be

open to the Lord? How do I say that? Like I said,

I really wish this would be the case. I really dream about this.

I really hope this would happen. But God, even if what you have

for me is the opposite of what I want, I still trust you in

that. Why Because I'm not obsessed in what I want. I have a

dream and desire, but by the end of the day, I want what

you have for me because I know that at any given point of time,

you know what's best for me. You know what I need fifty years down

the line, you know exactly what I'm going to come across ten years down

the line. So I trust you. I trust you. So today I

want you to introspect your desires and keep a check on them. Are they

in a place where you're saying If that doesn't happen, that's it. I'm

giving up. I don't want anything else. I just don't want to live

anymore, or I'm so bad I want that my way. Are you having

such an obsession ask God to help you overcome that, or are you in

a place where you said, I have the dream to desire, but I

want God's will to be done in and through my life. I'm not obsessed

with that dream. I'm not obsessed about that desire. I'm obsessed about fulfilling

God's plan for my life. And that would come when you take it slow

and search your heart and introspect your intentions in your mind. Now I shared

a lot about you know, in terms of choosing an our partner, but

then it's the same in everything. You want you to make a carrier move,

or you want to make a decision in buying a house, or maybe

you're so obsessed in that neighborhood or with that neighborhood, or maybe you're so

obsessed with that kind of a job role, or that you would go to

any extent to compromise or take shortcuts or to do anything that does not align

with God's will. Just for you to get it your way, you have

to be cautious, let go of it, and I'm sure that what God

has for you is going to be bigger, better, and that's going to
