0:53 Speaker 2: especially if you're in India, you would know that for

0:56 Speaker 2: the past ten days or even more, they're a lot

1:00 Speaker 2: of things happening. There's a lot of undrest happening, a

1:04 Speaker 2: lot of protests happening. People are on fast, people are

1:08 Speaker 2: making a lot of headlines about various things that's happening.

1:12 Speaker 2: And here's the thing I want you to understand right

1:14 Speaker 2: first things first, I always wanted to take time to

1:17 Speaker 2: respond or to address these things. Because there's two aspects

1:20 Speaker 2: to this. Number One, I don't want to just respond

1:23 Speaker 2: just to use this as a clickbait to get more views. Okay,

1:26 Speaker 2: that's the reason I didn't want to jump into this

1:29 Speaker 2: right away. I always take time to see how the

1:32 Speaker 2: Lord is leading me or speaking to me, and then

1:35 Speaker 2: address these things. And the other side of it is,

1:38 Speaker 2: I don't want to be somebody who's silent to all

1:42 Speaker 2: that's happening, because I want to talk about something very

1:44 Speaker 2: important here, because the next couple of days, you're going

1:47 Speaker 2: to look at various aspects that you and I as

1:50 Speaker 2: believers can learn and understand on how to respond when

1:54 Speaker 2: things are not going fine in your society, in your country,

1:58 Speaker 2: in your neighborhood, in your church, or in your workplace.

2:02 Speaker 2: Because I want you to understand something very important here.

2:05 Speaker 2: Many times, as Christians, we are trained to think that,

2:08 Speaker 2: you know what, Our focus is only to win souls,

2:11 Speaker 2: Our focus is only to do ministry. Our focus is

2:14 Speaker 2: only to do this that is pleasing in the sight

2:17 Speaker 2: of the Lord. To go into this job or to

2:21 Speaker 2: live my own life and then maybe be involved in

2:23 Speaker 2: church or ministry activities. But can I tell you something

2:28 Speaker 2: that's not the only agenda with which God placed us

2:31 Speaker 2: on Planet Heart. One of the reasons I wrote my book,

2:34 Speaker 2: un Rail Your Purpose is because I want people to

2:36 Speaker 2: understand that when we talk about walking in your God

2:39 Speaker 2: given calling and purpose, it's not only about saying, you

2:43 Speaker 2: know what I have to be in ministry. I need

2:45 Speaker 2: a purpet, I need to become a worship leader. I

2:48 Speaker 2: need to go and do street evangelism. That's not why

2:51 Speaker 2: God saves us. I wanted to understand each and every

2:54 Speaker 2: one of us have a purpose and a calling to

2:56 Speaker 2: be the light in the darkness, to be a channel

2:59 Speaker 2: of blessing to people in unique ways in our own

3:04 Speaker 2: areas that God has placed in us. Maybe when you

3:06 Speaker 2: see in justice in society, Maybe when you see that

3:09 Speaker 2: there's some kind of a negative thing happening in your workplace.

3:12 Speaker 2: Maybe when you see that there are people who are

3:15 Speaker 2: being mistreated it is your job to be the light

3:19 Speaker 2: in that darkness. Or when you see that the entertainment

3:23 Speaker 2: industry is going in the wrong direction, maybe you can

3:26 Speaker 2: produce good quality content that can change how people will

3:32 Speaker 2: be transformed when they watch or feed on that see

3:37 Speaker 2: I wanted to understand something you today I'm going to

3:40 Speaker 2: talk about one important aspect because I believe a lot

3:43 Speaker 2: of Christians are living from a place of being too

3:47 Speaker 2: over spiritual that they're not sensitive to the needs of people. See,

3:52 Speaker 2: when you think about in the scripture, there is a

3:55 Speaker 2: pattern that we see over and over again how God

3:59 Speaker 2: use mighty people. Like when you think about Joseph. Joseph

4:04 Speaker 2: didn't just go and preach to people.

4:06 Speaker 1: What did he do?

4:07 Speaker 2: He was able to meet the needs of the people

4:11 Speaker 2: through the famine, and that's how he saved multitudes, he

4:15 Speaker 2: saved nations. So you see, there is a pattern here

4:21 Speaker 2: where God wants to use you to serve. God wants

4:25 Speaker 2: to use you as a channel of blessing. God wants

4:28 Speaker 2: to use you in your place that He has placed

4:32 Speaker 2: you so that you can be in that place of influence,

4:35 Speaker 2: in that place to be a blessing, so that through

4:38 Speaker 2: that process you can bring souls, you can win souls,

4:43 Speaker 2: you can have advance the Kingdom of God. See today,

4:50 Speaker 2: one of the things, from today through the next couple

4:53 Speaker 2: of days, I'm going to look at various ways how

4:55 Speaker 2: we as Christians should respond to the injustice that you

4:59 Speaker 2: see all around. Now. One of the things I wanted

5:01 Speaker 2: to understand is you may say, oh, I'm not involved

5:04 Speaker 2: in this, this is not in my country. Can I

5:05 Speaker 2: tell you something that you could see some form of

5:08 Speaker 2: injustice happening in any nation that you're in. Maybe you

5:11 Speaker 2: are saying that, okay, it's not nationwide. Maybe there's some

5:15 Speaker 2: injustice happening in your office. Maybe there's some injustice or

5:19 Speaker 2: negative thing happening in your society or even in your

5:23 Speaker 2: family line. There are certain customs that are being followed

5:26 Speaker 2: which are not good, They're not healthy, and they are

5:29 Speaker 2: causing the family line to be affected. And there could

5:32 Speaker 2: be different things today. I want to pray that God

5:34 Speaker 2: will help you to identify whatever it is and say,

5:39 Speaker 2: you know what, I want to be the one who's

5:41 Speaker 2: going to take a stand against this. I want to

5:44 Speaker 2: be the one who's not going to turn a blind

5:46 Speaker 2: eye to this. Because Christians are so focused on winning

5:50 Speaker 2: souls that they miss out that sometimes winning souls comes

5:56 Speaker 2: at the cost of winning seats for a certain political part,

6:00 Speaker 2: which will bring in policies that will enable you to

6:04 Speaker 2: actually win some souls. Are you getting what I'm saying.

6:07 Speaker 2: If you're saying I'm not into politics or I don't

6:10 Speaker 2: care about this, all the protests that's happening. I don't

6:12 Speaker 2: care about injustice because it's not affecting me personally. But maybe,

6:17 Speaker 2: just maybe, if you would just stop turning a blind

6:20 Speaker 2: eye to the injustice, if you would just stop acting

6:24 Speaker 2: in indifference and say, how can I be a channel

6:28 Speaker 2: of blessing instead of being someone who's turning a blind

6:32 Speaker 2: eye to all that's happening. I want to talk to you.

6:36 Speaker 2: From Mark chapter ten, Versus forty six to fifty two,

6:39 Speaker 2: an important lesson for us today when we think about

6:42 Speaker 2: this moment. I'm reading from the Nalty version in verse

6:46 Speaker 2: forty six. Then Jesus reached Jericho, and as Jesus and

6:50 Speaker 2: his disciples left town, a large crowd followed him. A

6:56 Speaker 2: large crowd followed Jesus. Okay, now these people were following Jesus.

7:02 Speaker 2: They were followers of Jesus. Now today, if you're watching

7:05 Speaker 2: or listening, I'm pretty sure you're a follower of Jesus

7:09 Speaker 2: and you're saying, you know what, I love Jesus. Or

7:11 Speaker 2: maybe you have a cute Instagram biop says that you're

7:15 Speaker 2: a Jesus follower. Maybe your posted a Bible verse or

7:20 Speaker 2: whatever it is. You're saying, you know what, I'm a

7:24 Speaker 2: professing Christian believer. These people were following Jesus. Okay, Now

7:29 Speaker 2: pay attention to this. This was a miracle that happened

7:33 Speaker 2: almost at the end of Jesus's early life. This was

7:36 Speaker 2: not in the beginning. This was almost at the end. Okay.

7:38 Speaker 2: So I want you to understand that people already know

7:41 Speaker 2: about the miracles of Jesus. People already know about how

7:45 Speaker 2: he you know, probably calm the storm for the five thousand,

7:51 Speaker 2: healed the blind. They know about the miracles. But here's

7:55 Speaker 2: the thing I want you to understand. A blind beggar

7:59 Speaker 2: name Matthimaeus was sitting beside the road, and when he

8:03 Speaker 2: heard that Jesus was nearby, he began to shout, saying, Jesus,

8:08 Speaker 2: son of David, have mercy on me. Now, I wanted

8:12 Speaker 2: to look at verse forty eight, be quiet. Many of

8:17 Speaker 2: the people yelled at him be quiet. In some other

8:23 Speaker 2: translations it says that they rebuked him. What astonishes me

8:28 Speaker 2: is that the Bible says that a large crowd was

8:32 Speaker 2: following Jesus and they see a blind man who's crying

8:37 Speaker 2: for mercy, and the people are turning a blind eye

8:42 Speaker 2: and they're saying, you shut up. What an irony because

8:47 Speaker 2: you have to understand what they should have done is

8:50 Speaker 2: they should have said, hey, blind man, let me help

8:54 Speaker 2: you get to Jesus, because we know Jesus has healed

8:57 Speaker 2: many blind people and Jesus can heal you. Or they

9:02 Speaker 2: should have told Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, there's a blind man there.

9:05 Speaker 2: Why didn't you heal him? But what did they do?

9:10 Speaker 2: There was a blind man and the people turned a

9:13 Speaker 2: blind eye. And the irony is the people who turned

9:17 Speaker 2: the blind eye. Where Jesus following people. My question to

9:22 Speaker 2: you is you may say I'm a Jesus follower, you

9:25 Speaker 2: may say I love the Lord. You can quote a

9:29 Speaker 2: hundred scriptures by heart. But my question is are you

9:32 Speaker 2: truly sensitive to the needs of the people around you

9:37 Speaker 2: or are you turning a blind eye to those who

9:39 Speaker 2: are suffering.

9:42 Speaker 1: Are you truly a.

9:44 Speaker 2: Jesus following Christian who is having that compassion for the

9:49 Speaker 2: needs of other people, who's saying that, oh my gosh,

9:52 Speaker 2: I can't bear to see this person suffering and wants

9:56 Speaker 2: to help in whatever way possible, or are you turning

10:00 Speaker 2: a blind eye saying it's not my problem and acting

10:06 Speaker 2: with indifference today. I want to pray in Jesus Mighty

10:11 Speaker 2: name that every single one of you watching, listening right now,

10:14 Speaker 2: that in any area of your life, maybe there are

10:17 Speaker 2: people who are suffering. Maybe you know that there is

10:20 Speaker 2: injustice happening. Maybe there is something that's like somebody is

10:24 Speaker 2: showing partiality into someone in your school, or maybe you

10:28 Speaker 2: see that somebody else is getting you know, a lot

10:31 Speaker 2: of attacks in the workplace that you know that this

10:34 Speaker 2: is injustice, or maybe you're saying that there's some kind

10:38 Speaker 2: of a negative thing happening in your community where somebody

10:42 Speaker 2: is being you know, constantly being rebuked or being ill treated,

10:47 Speaker 2: and you're just turning a blind ey saying it's not

10:49 Speaker 2: my problem today. Let this be a wake up call

10:52 Speaker 2: for you. Whether you're going to take an active participation

10:56 Speaker 2: or not, that is secondary. The first place I want

10:59 Speaker 2: you to go to you is the place where you

11:01 Speaker 2: will not turn a blind eye, but you will turn

11:05 Speaker 2: to the people and say, let me be a blessing

11:09 Speaker 2: to you. In whatever way, they had two options in

11:13 Speaker 2: front of them. They could have either brought the man

11:16 Speaker 2: to Jesus or they could have taken Jesus to the man,

11:20 Speaker 2: but they didn't do either. My question to you is

11:25 Speaker 2: when you see people suffering, what are you doing? When

11:29 Speaker 2: you scrawl through your social media and see there are

11:32 Speaker 2: people who are suffering. Maybe you have a great job,

11:36 Speaker 2: but there are people who are suffering because they don't

11:38 Speaker 2: have a job because of injustice happening in the government.

11:44 Speaker 2: What are you doing when you say, oh, you know what,

11:48 Speaker 2: my health is fine, but you see there's somebody else

11:52 Speaker 2: suffering because of governmental injustices and negative things that are happening, corruptions,

11:58 Speaker 2: because of the which the healthcare system is failing. What

12:02 Speaker 2: are you doing about it? Today? Is a wake up coffee.

12:08 Speaker 2: Stop turning a blind eye and say, Lord, open my

12:11 Speaker 2: eyes to see the ones who have been placed in

12:16 Speaker 2: front of me so that I can beat the channel

12:18 Speaker 2: of blessing to them. In Jesus Mighty name, I released
