0:45 Speaker 2: Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John GIFTA podcast. It's to join on for me to be with each one of you today is I want to continue talking about the aspect of getting clarity in life. We spoke about various aspects. I want you to go back to the episodes of last week to go through the step by step process that we've been talking about, you know, getting clarity in very series of life. I just want to quickly remind you of a couple of things that I just want to remind you so that you have the flow as we move forward as well.

1:16 Speaker 2: So the first thing I told you about clarity is the importance of coming to that place where you realize that clarity comes from hearing the voice of God. You need to, you know, make sure that you develop your gift of hearing and discerning the voice of God. We will talk more about it in detail, and it is come. And I also spoke to you about how God will not give you all the details right in the beginning, So you need to take a step with what the message or the word that He has already given you. Whatever He has given you, take a step of faith, and you will see God leading you every step along the way.

1:47 Speaker 2: And I also told you that sometimes you know, even if God wants to speak to you, when the voices of other people or the people around you who are not sind with what God wants to do in your life, those voices are louder, then you will find it hard to hear the voice of God. So you need to learn to distance yourself from other voices. You need to learn to distance yourself from the influence of other people who do not understand what God is doing in your life. And also in the last segment, of this series that I spoke about last week was on the importance of clearing your mind, and I said the Pipe season Fustimity Scepter four, verse five says, you know that we need to get to that place where we need to have a clear mind in all situations when the when you look at the nulti version, so reminding all that get into that place of having that clear mind, you know, instead of having all of the things that are drawing you away from God, distracting you and deviating you and you know, causing you to lose focus.

2:54 Speaker 2: Make it your commitment to have a clear mind in all situations. Today, I want to talk about the aspect with regard to finding clarity in life, and I believe it's just an important area where we need to learn to trust God enough to let go and let God. I know it's a very common theme where say let go and let God. But I want you to think about areas in your life where you are still holding onto things that you want to still keep the control instead of letting God have the control. Maybe the reason why God is not giving you the next picture, or he's not giving you the next word, he's not giving you the next instruction.

3:34 Speaker 2: Maybe you're not able to see what God is doing in your life because you're still caught up looking into something that you are not willing to let go off. Maybe it is a relationship that I told you move out of this because only then He's going to move you into the next better relationship that he wants to bring across your part, but you're still unwilling to let go. Or maybe there is a situation where you went through an unfair thing in your life and you're allowing that to stop you from moving ahead.

4:05 Speaker 2: You're constantly looking backward. See this is a word for some of you. It's time. Like the Apostle Paul said, you know what, I'm not going to keep looking back, but I'm going to press forward to the new things, the better things that God has in store for me, Which means you need to be in a place where you need to really look at yourself. Are there areas in your life that you're still holding on. Maybe you're saying, you know what, I want to control this. I'm not willing to give away control to this area of my life.

4:32 Speaker 2: Maybe with regard to your dreams, your desires, your ministry, your calling, your relationship, you're still holding on to it, and I want to challenge you today, if you really want to see clarity, this is a word for you to let go, Let go and let God. You know, the Bible says one of the familiar passages or verses that we often talk about is probably three verse five and says trust in the law with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. Many times we are unwilling to, you know, stop leaning on our own understanding.

5:08 Speaker 2: We say, you know what, I figured this out, I know this is what I want, this is this is how I have studied, this is my intellectual mind speaking. I'm not willing to let go of this. But this is a wake up call to some of us today to say, you know what, it's enough of us just chasing after things and saying, why am I not seeing a result? The reason you're stuck, the reason you're not able to see the next move, is because you're unwilling to stop leaning on your own understanding. You're unwilling to let go of the things that are actually, you know, affecting you even more.

5:43 Speaker 2: And it's a moment or a wake up call for you to say enough is enough. You know what I'm going to let go and let God lead me to where he needs to lead me. I want you to think about this because I believe this is such an important message for such a time as this, because a lot of people are you know, caught up into things like you know, I've seen this, you know, like how they say this like a thread or a rope. You know, people who are holding onto a rope and unwilling to let go of the rope, and they don't realize that that rope is affecting them even more, that rope is affecting them even more.

6:30 Speaker 2: See, when you look at Acts chapter twenty seven, there is a moment I want you to go into the depth of the story because there's a lot to look at and unpacked, but I want to come quickly to one of the you know things, because this is so important. When you see, there was a huge storm that was raging. Okay, the apostle Paul is here on this boat and there's a storm and they tried everything, you know, like things were like going really really bad. They had not listened to divine instruction when Paul had spoken to them, So right now everything looked really really bad, and you have to understand something.

7:12 Speaker 2: When they tried everything, nothing worked. And finally the Bible says the soldiers cut off the ropes and let the ship drift away in the sense like if you see in some of the translations, it says that you know, they took you know, cutting loose their anchors, they left them, and they allowed the ship to go wherever it went. I want you to think about it. They literally let go of the control of the ship and that's how they ended up landing safely in Malta. And you know, fun fact, I was just coming to know recently about how Malta is still a huge Christian country, that the standards chance up for Christian principles and all of that stuff, and all that came across because of this storm, you know, which caused Apostle Paulity to land in this place.

8:12 Speaker 2: And you know how it all happened. When the storm was raging too much, they couldn't control the ship anymore. They let go and allowed the ship to take them whatever wherever, like whatever happens later, it happened like they took off the control and that is what guided them towards Malta. I wanted to think about this, if in your life. There are some areas things are not working. No matter what. If some area you're not able to see the hand of God, the move of God, the part of God, the presence of God, or you're not able to see the favor of God.

8:52 Speaker 2: Maybe this is a wake up call for you to introspect other areas where you're unwilling to let go. This is your moment to take off the sales, take off and let go and see. Let God lead you just like that in so you controlling it this, let it go with the flow, and you will be amazed to what God can take you through or where He can lead you, because that's another way where you'll actually get clarity. Or this is where God wanted to take me. This is where God wanted to lead me. This is the person God wanted to bring it into my life.
