0:53 to just let you know this. Sometimes a lot of people are sitting in

0:57 guilt, regret or with decisions in the past. Maybe you were not aware

1:02 of something and maybe you missed out on something, or maybe you're just sitting

1:06 in guilt over something that you intentionally did. You didn't wait upon the Lord,

1:10 you didn't trust the Lord. You made some decisions in the flesh,

1:15 and you're still suffering the consequence of not trusting for the Lord to do and

1:21 give his promise over your life. Now. One of the best examples we

1:25 can think of is that of Abraham. He did not wait upon the Lord

1:29 for the promise and the promised son of Isaac, and he ended up doing

1:34 something in the flesh. He took matters into his own hands and ended up

1:38 with the Ishmael. And that was definitely an intentional mistake on Abraham's path,

1:45 and in part of it we still see the effects of that right with the

1:52 war that's going on in certain parts of the world right now. You know

1:57 it's all because of one decision. And I'm not saying, you know,

2:00 go to a place of complacency and feel like, you know what, I

2:04 can do whatever I want. That's not what I mean. But what I

2:07 want you to understand is this word of encouragement to you. Yes, you

2:09 made mistakes, but God can bring miracles out of your mistakes. Yes,

2:14 then will be consequence of your sins. But you know, when you recommit

2:17 your life into the Lord's hands, when you give your life into the Lord's

2:21 hands, sometimes you know even the very things that you've given yourself into,

2:25 or the things that are what you call is the consequence of your decisions,

2:30 you know God can still use it to bring something of great significance in and

2:35 through your life. You know. One of the examples I want to share

2:37 with you guys, is found in Genesis, chapter thirty seven. This is

2:40 a moment, just to give you a picture, where Joseph, you know,

2:45 the favorite son of his father, when he goes to give you food

2:52 and the necessities to his brothers who are taking care of the sheep. And

2:55 the brothers hated him, his own brothers, but they hate with him,

3:00 and they didn't, you know, care about him, and they actually wanted

3:04 to kill him. But then they realized, like, you know, let's

3:07 look at some alternative ways. And then there's something you need to understand.

3:09 They just threw him into a pit. And I want to talk to you

3:14 from verse twenty five, and I'm reading from the Nalty version, and this

3:17 is what it says. Then, just as they were sitting down to eat,

3:21 they looked up and saw a caravan of camels in the distance coming toward

3:25 them. It was a group of ishmaelite traders taking a load of gum balm

3:30 and aromatic rasin from Giliad down to Egypt. And then they go on to

3:38 say, you know, why should we kill our brother, Why don't we

3:42 just sell him? You know? Verse twenty seven. Instead of hurting him,

3:46 let's sell him to those Ishmaelite traders. What I want you to understand

3:50 is this is a key ingredient in the puzzle for Joseph to reach his destiny,

3:55 you know, which eventually led to the saving of men nations through the

4:00 famine. You understand what I'm saying. This specific note that the Bible is

4:06 clearly telling us was that it was the Ishmaelite traders who were the ones to

4:14 whom Joseph was sold, and eventually they were the ones who transported Joseph down

4:18 to Egypt. And eventually, when Joseph reached his destiny, he was able

4:25 to save so many thousands of lives of so many countries through the famine because

4:30 of the hand of God upon Joseph's life. Are you getting what I'm saying?

4:33 See something that a couple of generations back was a mistake. What Abraham

4:39 did was a mistake, and that's how you got Ishmaelite. But here you

4:43 see this ishmael and his descendants. Ishmaelites are the ones who are being used.

4:49 You know, they're a part of the puzzle. They're part of the

4:53 pieces in the puzzle to transport Joseph to his destiny to save life use of

5:00 so many people. See, what I want you to understand is I'm not

5:02 saying get to a place of complacency and continue to do things in the flesh

5:06 like you know, Joe Abraham, you know went by the flesh and that's

5:11 how he ended up with a ni Ishmael, you know, because the flesh

5:15 has consequences. Like I said, sin has consequences. But what I'm saying

5:18 is even if you have made mistakes, even if you have done something that

5:23 you shouldn't do, and you're saying, John, I'm still struggling because of

5:27 the consequence of these mistakes. This is a word of encouragement for you.

5:30 This is a word to let you know the God can still use those mistakes

5:34 to bring great glory in and through your life. You can use those mistakes

5:40 to transport to you towards your destiny. He can use those mistakes to guide

5:45 you towards what He has in store for you. He can use those mistakes

5:48 to teach you, to humble you, to help you get to a place

5:51 where you depend on Him more, and you can be used for a greater

5:57 glory because of those mistakes. I'm not saying staying complacency, and I'm not

6:02 saying stay in sin. Guys, Please don't misunderstand me or misquote me.

6:08 But what I'm saying is that you don't have to sit in regret the rest

6:12 of your life. You don't have to sit in shame and guilt the rest

6:15 of your life. Yes, repent, ask the Lord for forgiveness. Yes,

6:19 get to that place where you are humble yourself, humbling yourself before God

6:24 and saying, God, I admit I made this mistake. I don't want

6:26 to act like I didn't do anything wrong, but I don't want to sit

6:30 giving up. I don't want to sit in self pity. I don't want

6:32 to sit in guilt and shame the rest of my life. God, I

6:35 want you to bring miracles out of these mistakes. And I want a decree

6:40 and declare over each one of you the same way the very mistake Ishmael and

6:45 his descendants Ishmaelites were instrumental in taking Joseph to his destiny, which ultimately led

6:53 to the saving of so many. I pray that God will use your mistakes

6:57 to be a blessing to other people. Your mistakes will be a miracle that

7:00 will transform lives all across the globe. In Jesus name, I pray Amen,
