0:43 Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. A load of times you may be going through some kind of struggle in your life. Maybe there are things that you can openly talk about. Maybe you're praying for a job, praying for the right person, praying for and break through financial miracle, or there are certain things that you can talk about. But there could be things that you're struggling where you can't even share it with the ones closest to you. You can't share it with others. But it's something that's eating you up and you're feeling really helpless.

1:20 You're feeling like you're stuck there's nobody to help you, there's nothing that's working out in your favor, and you're maybe saying this is how your life has been for a long period of time. Well, I want to share something with you, guys, and I'm reading to you from John chapter five, one of my favorite incidents recorded in the Word of God, where Jesus goes to the pool of Betesta. To give you a little bit of backstory, Betesta is a pool where there were multitudes of sick folks, all kinds of you know, the blind, the lame, the cripple, and all of them who are reading and praying for a miracle.

1:53 And every now and then the Angel of the Lord will come and stir up the water, and whoever jumped in first would get healed. So this is why they were all reading the waiting for their turn, or hoping someday they would be able to have this miracle that they've been hoping and praying about. And there was this man there who was a cripple for thirty eight years. Think about this, not one year, not two years, thirty eight years. For the most part, we could be in a place. Oh my goodness, you know what I'm praying about this for so many months, so many years, and maybe in some cases a few decades.

2:30 But here was a guy who for almost four decades he was in this state crippled. And you may be feeling that nobody notices, nobody knows what you're going through. But here's the thing. Allow I'm reading from the amplified version, okay, John chapter five or six, and it says, this is the classic edition of amplified version says when Jesus noticed him lying there helpless. See the Bible is very clear Jesus noticed him lying their help, knowing that he had already been a long time in that condition.

3:04 He said, do you want to become well? Are you really in earnest about getting well?

3:12 Something's to note here. Jesus noticed the man lying there helpless, and he knew that he had been in that condition for a long time. I want you to understand that even if other people do not know, God is noticing, and he knows how long you've been battling. On the outside, it may look like just somebody who walked with Jesus at that point, maybe knowing or seeing the man for the first time in their life. But Jesus knew like this man had been here in a for a long long time, thirty eight years. I want you to is to understand that other people may not know how long you've suffered.

3:50 Other people may not notice the depth of your problem. Other people may think that you're just exaggerating. Other people may not understand you from where you come from. Other people will may not understand your feelings, even if they do feel pity over you, but they can't understand the depth of what you're going through. But I mere to tell you there is a God who notices what you're going through. And just because things have not changed for a long time doesn't mean it's not going to change. This man was in the state for almost four decades, but one glorious day is life turned around.

4:23 I want you guys to understand today that even if your life is not changed for a long time, if you've been praying for a miracle, reading on the Lord, maybe we'd regard to your dreams you're calling, your purpose, your career. Maybe we'd regard to your relationship that you're praying about. Maybe we'd regard to God showing up and showing out in some area of your life. I want you to understand that the God we serve is faithful. Just because there is a delay, it does not mean that you're denied of the blessings from God.

4:51 It does not mean that God has forgotten about you. It does not mean that God is written you off. God still has a plan and one day, when you'd least expect it, God is going to show up in your life. Today. I want to pray over you, guys that if you're feeling discouraged, if you're feeling helpless, God, I pray that you will intervene in the lives of your people, that you will show up in their life of God, show out in our life of God. We want your hand, We want your intervention the same way we believe that this man was noticed by you.

5:25 We believe that you're noticing us. We believe that you know what you're going through, the depth of our problem, how long we have endured it. And we believe that you're coming with a reward. You're coming with the miracle, We're coming with the answer, You're coming with the breakthrough. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen, God bless you.
