0:53 of people today are losing their sleep. What are anxious? Not knowing how

0:58 things are going to work out. Maybe you're looking at your future, looking

1:00 at the things that are right in front of you, maybe some decisions you

1:03 need to make, some choices you need to make, or maybe just life

1:08 is happening in front of you and you have to make some quick decisions.

1:14 Are quick turnarounds or something that you need to do a quick act in front

1:19 of you and you're like, oh my goodness, John, I don't know

1:21 how it's all going to play out. I don't know how it's called going

1:23 to make sense. All I can see is it's such a rugged path.

1:27 It's all I can see is it's so crooked and and I wish, you

1:32 know, I would get as out of the details, and I wish I

1:34 would be able to take the right decision and move ahead in the right track

1:41 that God has for me. You know, you may be in a place

1:44 like that where there's so much of confusion turmoil, and you're wondering how it's

1:49 all going to play out and work out in your life. I just want

1:53 to share something with you guys. You know, these scriptures may be very

1:57 familiar with and this is a message on a zone that you may be familiar

2:00 with. But sometimes I think, you know, like I said before,

2:04 you know, we need to have that faith because when we go through tough

2:08 times. You know, the scripture says faith comes by the hearing and the

2:12 hearing of the word right, it's not a one time thing you heard once

2:15 and that's it for life. You know, sometimes we need to constantly remind

2:17 ourselves and you know, receive that word over and over again. Still it

2:23 gets into a spirit. So through that process, when you constantly feed and

2:27 keep hearing the Word of God through that process is how faith is developed.

2:31 Right, So, if you're in a season where you're looking at those crooked

2:36 paths, I just want to share two scriptures with you, and I want

2:38 to take this forward. It's just found in Isaiah forty five, verse two,

2:42 and the Lord is saying, I will go before you and make your

2:46 crooked path straight. I will go before you and make your crooked path straight.

2:51 Some translations use I will go before you and level the mountains. Another

2:57 one it says I will go before you and make the rough places smooth.

3:00 Another one it says I will go before you and make the rugged places plain.

3:06 So the common thing you need to understand is that, yes, you

3:10 may be looking at something and you're like, oh my goodness, how is

3:14 this ever going to make sense? Now? Remember God has already gone before

3:17 you. He's gone ahead of you. And I just love that translation which

3:23 we're saying. I think it's a varying study Bibles says I will go before

3:27 you and level the mountains. So when I was thinking of this verse,

3:31 you know one thing that just struck me. Okay. I love to study

3:36 or watch documentaries, especially of topics that interest me and one of the topics

3:39 that I love the most is Mount Everest, and I've studied this a lot.

3:45 And one of the things is, I don't know if you've heard of

3:47 it, but this is what actually happened. So there are these guys called

3:52 the sherpas, who are the local natives of this region. Right, the

3:55 Sherpas, they're very skilled in climbing. And what these people do is they

4:02 go before the actual mountaineers. They will go before the actual climbers. Okay,

4:08 now, if you know what it's actually the mountaineers don't go alone.

4:12 They're always accompanied by sherpers. It can be either private sherper just for one

4:15 individual, or there can be some sherpers who are there like guideposts, who

4:20 help out people who need help. And you know, they're very skilled at

4:25 it. They can you know, they're they're like the masters of the mountain,

4:30 you know what I mean that that's who they are. Like. Even

4:32 when Hillary and Tensing reached the top of the Everest, right, Hillary was

4:38 a mountaineer, but Dancing was a sherper. He was a local person,

4:42 so he was an expert in that he knew everything. So so I wanted

4:46 to understand in this perspective, the sherper goes before he What they do is

4:49 they go they check you for all the pathways clear, if there's any trouble

4:55 along the way, They check if there is um you know, like if

4:59 all the rope are intact. And after they check that the ropes are all

5:02 intact, and then they will you signal out or give the instruction for other

5:08 people to follow. So so these sherpers always like for example, if you're

5:12 traveling to the top of Mount Everest, right you have the base camp Camp

5:15 one, Camp two, Camp three, Camp four, then you have hillary

5:17 step and eventually to the top of the summit through South Summit. Here's the

5:23 thing. If if the mountaineers are still in Camp one, the sherpers are

5:27 already in Camp two a Camp three, you know, making sure things are

5:30 fine. I hope you're getting the context here. That's how they go before

5:34 they're already gone ahead. So when the mountaineers are actually moving, you know,

5:40 they know that somebody has already gone before them, you know, ensuring

5:44 everything is safe, everything everything is intact. That's how things are done.

5:47 So I wanted to understand that is the exact kind of an analogy. You

5:51 can see here that even before you step in today, God has already stepped

5:57 in today. He's gone ahead of you too. Today, He's gone ahead

6:00 of you into your future to make sure that your crook its parts are straight.

6:04 Have you ever thought about it that way? Another verse have and I'm

6:08 on her remand you again on the same lines you're trying to be thirty one

6:12 verse eight, It says the Lord himself goes before you and will be with

6:16 you. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. To not be

6:20 afraid and to not be discouraged. The Lord himself goes before you. Like

6:26 in this example, I said, a sher part you know, is individual.

6:30 The individual himself goes before you. Right, It's it's not like a

6:35 robot is sent where the robot on malfunction, you know, it's an individual

6:40 himself who can go before Look. So so think about this, A man

6:44 you know is trusted to go ahead to make sure everything is fine. Then

6:47 can you imagine that God is saying, I am myself going ahead of you.

6:54 I'm not just sending a robo. I'm not just sending an angel.

6:57 I'm not just sending good wishes. I'm not just sending you know, like

7:01 somebody in front of you know, no, no, no, God is

7:03 saying I myself, I'm going before you and I will make sure that all

7:09 will be well in your life. God. Today I pray for those who

7:13 are afraid, discouraged. I pray that this word will go forth, encourage,

7:16 strengthen those are in time of need. Lord, I pray that this

7:20 word will be a blessing in the name of Jesus Christ. God. If

7:24 for those who are going through that, maybe it's a reminder, but maybe

7:28 it's a word of encouragement. Maybe they just needed this word at this point.

7:31 Whatever it is, Law, let this word go forth and be a

7:34 blessing in Jesus name. I pray, Amen, God bless you. You've
