0:49 Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John gift of podcast. But I want to remind you and challenge you today that you know what God can use you in your crudeness as well. Yes, the thing I want you to understand sometimes you know when we say God has a plan for you, God wants you to take a step towards your calling, your purpose, or to make bold decisions with regard to your life, your future, or maybe you need to take a step towards something that you know. This is where the Lord has placed you for such a time as this, and this is the direction God wants you to go.

1:21 Speaker 2: And you're saying, you know what, John, I have all these limitations. I have all these things that maybe can disqualify me from actually seeing success or victory in this area of my life. But I want you to understand something very very important here that the God who has created you knows exactly why he created you, and he knows how he created you for a reason, for a purpose. And when you just commit yourself into the hands of the Almighty God, he knows how to use even the things that seem like a limitation, things that seem like crudeness in your sight, that it may actually be crude in the sight of the world as well.

1:59 Speaker 2: But God can use that in an amazing way to be a blessing. When you think about the incident where David was able to defeat Goliath, right, we look at this incident where and we're saying, look at this, Wow, David was so good. I want to be like David. I want to defeat the coliaths in my life. But I want you to pay attention to something very important here. When you think about the other brothers of David, they were all professionally trained. They had the credibility, they had the certifications, they were in the military, they had experience, they had what you call us the qualification or the education, or whatever you wanted to call it.

2:41 Speaker 2: They were these professional people. But here's the thing about it to understand, right, when the moment came to defeat Goliath, none of that helped. None of them had the courage to go and face that Goliath. Who defeated Goliath in the end, it was a little boy called David who was so crude. Like for example, when you look at verse thirty eight of chapter seventeen, Saul dressed David in his own tunic. He put a coat of armor on him and a bronze helmet on his head, and David fastened on his sword over the tunic and tried running and walking around.

3:22 Speaker 2: But he was not used to them, right, because Saul was this professional person and he has put in all these professional things on to David, and David says, I cannot go in these because I'm not used to them, and he took them off. Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd's bag and with his sling in his hand, approached to Philistine. Look at this. The professionalism did not work. Crudeness worked. See I'm not saying don't be professional or throw your certificates down the drain.

3:58 Speaker 2: That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is don't think that only that is going to determine your life. You can have the certificates and still live a mediocal life like the rest of David's brothers. But with the help of God. When you stop focusing or putting your hope, trust and reliance on your certificates, your experience, your background, your qualifications, and start putting your trust, open reliance on the favor of God upon your life, and start depending on who He made you to be, the warrior that is within you, and you allow God to use you.

4:29 Speaker 2: I want you to understand God used David in this crudeness. God can use you in your crudeness in a more effective way than anybody else to be a greater blessing. That's just something I've seen in my own life where even people with professional degrees and things like that many times say this, you know we are not able to be as effective as you. John, I'm not putting myself on a high pedestal and saying that, but I just say that, you know, sometimes I feel that, you know, it is the fact that I don't have the professional approach that helps me to reach people beyond the four walls of the church.

5:00 Speaker 2: That's why I'm not limited or restricted by you know, the denominational norms are restricted by the expectations of a church or anything. I'm just able to use my gifts and talents and who I am as an individual in my crudeness to be a greater blessing to people. And today that's what I want to challenge you. Don't disqualify yourself because of your crudeness. God can use you in your crudeness to be a greater blessing for the extension of His kingdom. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen, God blessing.
