1:02 Speaker 2: when we say God has a plan for you, God

1:05 Speaker 2: wants you to take a step towards your calling, your purpose,

1:08 Speaker 2: or to make bold decisions with regard to your life,

1:12 Speaker 2: your future, or maybe you need to take a step

1:15 Speaker 2: towards something that you know. This is where the Lord

1:17 Speaker 2: has placed you for such a time as this, and

1:20 Speaker 2: this is the direction God wants you to go. And

1:22 Speaker 2: you're saying, you know what, John, I have all these limitations.

1:24 Speaker 2: I have all these things that maybe can disqualify me

1:28 Speaker 2: from actually seeing success or victory in this area of

1:31 Speaker 2: my life. But I want you to understand something very

1:34 Speaker 2: very important here that the God who has created you

1:37 Speaker 2: knows exactly why he created you, and he knows how

1:41 Speaker 2: he created you for a reason, for a purpose. And

1:44 Speaker 2: when you just commit yourself into the hands of the

1:47 Speaker 2: Almighty God, he knows how to use even the things

1:51 Speaker 2: that seem like a limitation, things that seem like crudeness

1:55 Speaker 2: in your sight, that it may actually be crude in

1:58 Speaker 2: the sight of the world as well. But God can

2:00 Speaker 2: use that in an amazing way to be a blessing.

2:04 Speaker 2: When you think about the incident where David was able

2:08 Speaker 2: to defeat Goliath, right, we look at this incident where

2:11 Speaker 2: and we're saying, look at this, Wow, David was so good.

2:14 Speaker 2: I want to be like David. I want to defeat

2:16 Speaker 2: the coliaths in my life. But I want you to

2:19 Speaker 2: pay attention to something very important here. When you think

2:22 Speaker 2: about the other brothers of David, they were all professionally trained.

2:29 Speaker 2: They had the credibility, they had the certifications, they were

2:33 Speaker 2: in the military, they had experience, they had what you

2:37 Speaker 2: call us the qualification or the education, or whatever you

2:40 Speaker 2: wanted to call it. They were these professional people. But

2:45 Speaker 2: here's the thing about it to understand, right, when the

2:48 Speaker 2: moment came to defeat Goliath, none of that helped. None

2:52 Speaker 2: of them had the courage to go and face that Goliath.

2:57 Speaker 2: Who defeated Goliath in the end, it was a little

3:00 Speaker 2: boy called David who was so crude. Like for example,

3:05 Speaker 2: when you look at verse thirty eight of chapter seventeen,

3:09 Speaker 2: Saul dressed David in his own tunic. He put a

3:12 Speaker 2: coat of armor on him and a bronze helmet on

3:15 Speaker 2: his head, and David fastened on his sword over the

3:19 Speaker 2: tunic and tried running and walking around. But he was

3:23 Speaker 2: not used to them, right, because Saul was this professional

3:26 Speaker 2: person and he has put in all these professional things

3:30 Speaker 2: on to David, and David says, I cannot go in

3:33 Speaker 2: these because I'm not used to them, and he took

3:36 Speaker 2: them off. Then he took his staff in his hand,

3:40 Speaker 2: chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in

3:43 Speaker 2: the pouch of his shepherd's bag and with his sling

3:46 Speaker 2: in his hand, approached to Philistine. Look at this. The

3:49 Speaker 2: professionalism did not work. Crudeness worked. See I'm not saying

3:54 Speaker 2: don't be professional or throw your certificates down the drain.

3:58 Speaker 2: That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is don't

4:00 Speaker 2: think that only that is going to determine your life.

4:03 Speaker 2: You can have the certificates and still live a mediocal

4:06 Speaker 2: life like the rest of David's brothers. But with the

4:10 Speaker 2: help of God. When you stop focusing or putting your hope,

4:13 Speaker 2: trust and reliance on your certificates, your experience, your background,

4:17 Speaker 2: your qualifications, and start putting your trust, open reliance on

4:21 Speaker 2: the favor of God upon your life, and start depending

4:24 Speaker 2: on who He made you to be, the warrior that

4:26 Speaker 2: is within you, and you allow God to use you.

4:29 Speaker 2: I want you to understand God used David in this crudeness.

4:32 Speaker 2: God can use you in your crudeness in a more

4:35 Speaker 2: effective way than anybody else to be a greater blessing.

4:39 Speaker 2: That's just something I've seen in my own life where

4:42 Speaker 2: even people with professional degrees and things like that many

4:45 Speaker 2: times say this, you know we are not able to

4:46 Speaker 2: be as effective as you. John, I'm not putting myself

4:49 Speaker 2: on a high pedestal and saying that, but I just

4:51 Speaker 2: say that, you know, sometimes I feel that, you know,

4:53 Speaker 2: it is the fact that I don't have the professional

4:56 Speaker 2: approach that helps me to reach people beyond the four

4:59 Speaker 2: walls of the church. That's why I'm not limited or

5:02 Speaker 2: restricted by you know, the denominational norms are restricted by

5:06 Speaker 2: the expectations of a church or anything. I'm just able

5:10 Speaker 2: to use my gifts and talents and who I am

5:13 Speaker 2: as an individual in my crudeness to be a greater

5:16 Speaker 2: blessing to people. And today that's what I want to

5:18 Speaker 2: challenge you. Don't disqualify yourself because of your crudeness. God

5:22 Speaker 2: can use you in your crudeness to be a greater

5:24 Speaker 2: blessing for the extension of His kingdom. In Jesus name,
