0:54 times we all presume to say that we are not one understanding between listen to

1:00 God, we follow his advice, we go by divine counsel, and we

1:04 go by godly counsel. We take the right steps, you know, as

1:08 we pray, and you know all of those things. But sometimes, you

1:12 know, what happens is it's not a problem of saying that you know you

1:15 are doing. You know either on the two sides, like one side is

1:21 like fully led by God and the other side is like you're not listening to

1:25 God at all. But there can be a big problem when you are led

1:29 by God to an extent, but at times you try to be led by

1:33 yourself. You use your brain, you use her. When I mean brain,

1:37 I'm not saying don't use your common sense or the wisdom of God and

1:42 all of that, but I'm saying, sometimes, you know, we can

1:44 just be so caught up with our own understanding. We can just get to

1:49 that place where we focus on a logical things and try to go by what

1:53 we look at as knowledge and worldly wisdom, and you know, all of

2:00 those experience and all of those things and tend to actually, you know,

2:04 go away from leaning on God in some areas to an extent, and those

2:08 things can actually put us and put a lot of things in a big trouble.

2:14 Right, I want to share a scripture with you, an example from

2:17 the scripture with you, and I want to take this forever you understand the

2:21 context that I'm trying to bring this from. It's found in Matthew chapter two,

2:25 right, just to help you understand. So, Jesus is born in

2:29 Bethlehem during the reign of King Herod. Okay, about this time, some

2:35 wise men from the Eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking where is the King

2:39 of the Jews. You know, like, these men did not just come

2:45 from across the town, across the you know, the street. They came

2:51 all the way from the east. Okay, they followed the star for a

2:55 long period of time. Okay, So y's the thing I want to tell

2:59 you. The scripture talks about this where they actually said that they have been

3:06 guided from the east in verse nine. Right, this is what it says.

3:08 After this interview, the wise men went their way, and the start

3:13 they had seen in their east guided them to Bethlehem, which means that all

3:19 the way from the east they were guided by the Star towards Jesus, and

3:28 they came all the way to Jerusalem. Now what happens here is this,

3:31 they were led by a divine way. Right, You too may be led

3:37 by God, you through the prophetic, through the spirit, through divine counsels,

3:43 through the word, whichever way God is leading you, maybe through dreams

3:46 or visions or whatever angelic encounters that are multiple based. God speaks. But

3:51 here's the point. They followed the leading of God all the way from the

3:54 eastern countries wherever they came from, all the way to this country. But

4:02 at this point they just went into logic mode to think that, oh,

4:05 if it's the king, that means he must be in the palace. Let

4:10 me go. And they go to Jerusalem and they go to King Herod to

4:15 think that the king will be in the palace. You get what I'm saying.

4:20 But the minute they come out of the palace, right the star continues

4:26 to guide them till they meet with Jesus. It goes and it stops right

4:30 where the child was. That's what the Bible says in verse nine, which

4:33 means that so long they were following the star. But the minute they entered

4:40 this country, the minute they knew that the star was going to lead them

4:43 here, the minute they were here, they thought, you know what,

4:46 I don't need the star anymore. I can follow this. I know that

4:48 king will obviously be in the palace. You know, they use their logic.

4:53 Are you getting what I'm saying? And here's the problem. Because of

4:58 this issue, they end up going and telling this to King Herod. And

5:02 if you read those verses, it talks about how Herod was so furious and

5:06 he was like, oh my gosh, angry. And what happens a little

5:11 later. You see, he wanted to go and kill this newborn baby Jesus,

5:16 and of course the Lord wants the wise men, and then they they

5:21 don't go back to King Herod, and then what actually happens is King Herod

5:27 ends up killing all the babies in the land that were less than two years

5:31 old, all the male babies. Now, think about this, Think about

5:34 this for a minute. All of that could have been prevented if the wise

5:40 men had not used their logical sense. Think about it, if they had

5:47 allowed the star to guide them till they reached a baby instead of using their

5:55 common sense or their logics, girl sense or whatever, and go to the

6:00 palace. King Herod may not have ever known about this newborn baby Jesus,

6:05 and he may not have slaughtered so many babies. Now, I wanted to

6:10 have this perspective. I understand ultimately God's plan, God's will will happen.

6:13 Blah blah blah. That's what the scripture says, that everything was according to

6:16 the plan and purpose because it was all prophetic. You know how even Jesus

6:21 had to be hidden in Egypt and all of those things. If you read

6:26 those scriptures, it's all clear, it's all prophetic. It's all going to

6:29 happen, but you look at it in a practical sense. Here, if

6:31 these people had ultimately been in a place where they were like, listen,

6:38 I'm not going to use my logic or my you know, like my own

6:43 sense of leaning on my own understanding, but let me be led by God

6:47 to the final detail. Think about how many babies could have been saved.

6:57 Are you getting what I'm saying? Are you getting what I'm saying? Guys,

7:00 today, a lot of people are doing this. I understand they for

7:03 the big things, or for the most part, they trust God's leading and

7:09 guidance and all of that. But when it comes to these you know,

7:13 oh, now, I know I can handle this. And then at one

7:15 point they just take off the divine guidance and council and then they try to

7:20 do it with their own strength and they'll end up in trouble and they put

7:24 other people in trouble. Right. I want to just give you an example,

7:28 Like if you're saying GPS, okay, right, imagine if I were

7:33 to say, like there's a d king in the United Kingdom or being born

7:40 just example, because there's monarchy in the United Kingdom. So you know,

7:45 if I'm I don't know where the king is, so I keep following the

7:47 star or I follow GPS. Manchin, GPS is leading me. Your GPS

7:51 was the start. It just leads me, leads me, and the minute

7:55 I reach the United Kingdom, if I were to use my senses, like,

8:00 oh, you know what, the King would definitely be in Buckingham Palace.

8:03 Let me just go straight to Buckingham Palace instead of following GPS anymore.

8:07 Are you getting in the context there? That's exactly what these men did.

8:13 They were following God's counsel all the way from the east till this place.

8:20 But at one point they thought, you know what, I can make this

8:22 decision on my own, and they put so many babies to death because of

8:28 that decision. I want you to get, guys, to get to this

8:31 place where you lean on God in everything, not few things, not some

8:35 things, not most things, but everything, be guided by God to the

8:39 fiery end or the last detail that you need. Amen, God bless you.
