0:46 Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John gift podcast. If you've been checking out our recent episodes, we're doing a series on how you and I are not living our life on our own. We're not just trying to figure things out on our own to fulfill the purpose that God has for us. You and I have a benefit, and that is the fact that the favor of God surrounds us and gulfs us and helps us to accomplish the purpose that God has since store for us. And we've been talking about various things that we can understand as benefits and principles that we can have in our life because we have the favor of God upon us.

1:18 Speaker 2: I really recommend you to go back and check out these episodes because there's such a blessing to so many. And today one of the things I want to remind you is that the favor of God can activate things or help you get things which are made just for you. Like what do I mean by that? Yesterday I spoke to you about an important aspect from the life of Joseph, how the favor of God enabled him to go beyond what his hard work and his natural capabilities could go. That is something only the favor of God could do.

1:50 Speaker 2: And I also reminded you that you know what, Yes, you may achieve certain things, you may be able to go to a certain level by your hard work, but the fear of God can take you beyond where your heart work can take you. That's the essence of it. And the other thing I wanted to understand about the study of Joseph, which I want to focus on today, is that the favor of God opened a door for him which did not even exist before. There was no position in the palace where there was like a vacancy for somebody to become the prime Minister equlent of Egypt.

2:22 Speaker 2: There was nothing like that. It was like on the spot. The Pharaoh was impressed with Joseph and gave him that position the governor of the land, the prime minister equalent of the land, at a time when such a position never even existed. It was not on demand, It was not on vacancy. It was not something that, you know, what somebody was looking for to be filled up. It all happens suddenly when Joseph happened to just stamp into the moment where the favor of God just catapult to him to another dimension.

2:54 Speaker 2: And yes, the thing I wanted to understand at that moment, the Lord spoke to the Pharaoh and said, you know what, you need to take this guy like, I mean, how did this pharaoh, a heathen king, recognize that the Lord's spirit was upon Joseph. How did he believe in this convict from the prison to give him this position, to make him in charge of the entire kingdom. This cannot happen by itself. That's the favor of God. And not only that this position did not even exist before, but It was created on the spot just for Joseph.

3:29 Speaker 2: I don't know who needs to hear this word. I know there's so much happening with regard to people losing their jobs, and you may be in a position where maybe you're praying for a job, maybe you lost your job, or maybe you're praying for your business to grow, or maybe you are stagnant in your job, and you're saying, you know what, I know I need to make a move because I know that things are not going good in the current organization. But things are just not opening for me. Or you may be in a position maybe not a job scenario at all.

3:57 Speaker 2: Maybe you're praying for a relationship or a live partner, maybe you're praying for a new venture, and you're praying for a new platform, and you're saying, this does not even exist right now. This kind of a person does not even exists right now. This kind of an opportunity does not even exist right now. Can I tell you something. God can open a position just for you. God can open a client, or you know, great the conducer environment to bring in the right person into your life. You wouldn't be like, oh my gosh, this person was just made just for me.

4:28 Speaker 2: This opportunity was created just for me. God can enable you to do that. I want you to believe it. It may not happen overnight. It did not happen overnight. You know, some people say Joseph was in the prison for over ten years. We do not know the exact time how long he spent in the prison, but we know that for thirteen years his life was going in the wrong direction, right from the time when he was seventeen, when he was sold as a slave after being picked up from the pit, and by the time he took the position in the palace he was thirty, So thirteen years everything was bad.

5:04 Speaker 2: You may have to go through seasons which look terribly bad and wrong, and people think like, man, this guy's life is doomed. This girl's life has no meaning in it. That's how your life may look like. But I want you to believe that the favor of God can restore, not only restore in a way. Like Joseph, you know what got freedom, or just that he got promoted, or you know what, he got complete restoration. Like when he came out of prison, not only did he get a position, he got a position that was a second ex position in the whole kingdom when a time when the kingdom was the most populination in the world of that time.

5:42 Speaker 2: And he got married, he had kids, his family got restoration. All of this happened in his life. See, I want you to understand. God can create a position. God can create the conducerve environment. God can bring in the right people, the right person, the right opportunity, the right things into your life when you least expect. And that is the thing that the favor of God can do. Today I wanted to believe in it. See, when I was praying about the job transition, I stood my ground and I said, you know what, I need a job that has a limit of flexibility.

6:20 Speaker 2: And you know that's not show my god given calling, the ministry and all of that. You know, people said, it's just not possible. I mean, the situation is bad. There's the environment, the conditions right now are not conducive. It's just not going to happen. It's just not possible. But you know what, I stood my ground. I said, even if it takes more time of waiting, it's still worth it because I know that when you rate upon the law, the Lord will open a door. Just for you. The Lord will open an opportunity that would be so apt for your calling, just like it happened just for Joseph.

6:55 Speaker 2: This position was created just for Joseph. You know when I look at how this particular organization opened up and I got this opportunity, you know the way. You know, somebody else was in that position and they had to move because of certain reasons, and then somebody else came in and filled up, and there was something that happened that caused this person to leave in a short span, and that is what enabled me to get that opportunity. Like I was, I was thinking, there were so many things that were trying to get this opportunity, but you know what it was like, you know, like what is meant for you will be yours in Jesus' name, Because when God ordains an opportunity for you, when God decides to open a door for you, when God decides to prepare a position just for you, no one else can take that position.

7:41 Speaker 2: No one else can take that opportunity. And today I wanted to walk with that awareness because God is going to open doors no one can shut. And then that's the challenge. I want you to believe and understand that God is going to prepare positions for you. God is going to prepare people for you. God is going to prepare opportunity piece just for you. If would you believe and trust a lot to do that in your life. Immen, God bless you.
