1:06 Speaker 2: us and helps us to accomplish the purpose that God

1:11 Speaker 2: various things that we can understand as benefits and principles

1:14 Speaker 2: that we can have in our life because we have

1:17 Speaker 2: the favor of God upon us. I really recommend you

1:22 Speaker 2: such a blessing to so many. And today one of

1:25 Speaker 2: the things I want to remind you is that the

1:27 Speaker 2: favor of God can activate things or help you get

1:31 Speaker 2: things which are made just for you. Like what do

1:35 Speaker 2: I mean by that? Yesterday I spoke to you about

1:38 Speaker 2: an important aspect from the life of Joseph, how the

1:40 Speaker 2: favor of God enabled him to go beyond what his

1:44 Speaker 2: hard work and his natural capabilities could go. That is

1:48 Speaker 2: something only the favor of God could do. And I

1:51 Speaker 2: also reminded you that you know what, Yes, you may

1:54 Speaker 2: achieve certain things, you may be able to go to

1:56 Speaker 2: a certain level by your hard work, but the fear

1:59 Speaker 2: of God can take you beyond where your heart work

2:02 Speaker 2: can take you. That's the essence of it. And the

2:05 Speaker 2: other thing I wanted to understand about the study of Joseph,

2:08 Speaker 2: which I want to focus on today, is that the

2:10 Speaker 2: favor of God opened a door for him which did

2:13 Speaker 2: not even exist before. There was no position in the

2:16 Speaker 2: palace where there was like a vacancy for somebody to

2:20 Speaker 2: become the prime Minister equlent of Egypt. There was nothing

2:23 Speaker 2: like that. It was like on the spot. The Pharaoh

2:27 Speaker 2: was impressed with Joseph and gave him that position the

2:30 Speaker 2: governor of the land, the prime minister equalent of the land,

2:34 Speaker 2: at a time when such a position never even existed.

2:37 Speaker 2: It was not on demand, It was not on vacancy.

2:40 Speaker 2: It was not something that, you know, what somebody was

2:42 Speaker 2: looking for to be filled up. It all happens suddenly

2:46 Speaker 2: when Joseph happened to just stamp into the moment where

2:50 Speaker 2: the favor of God just catapult to him to another dimension.

2:54 Speaker 2: And yes, the thing I wanted to understand at that moment,

2:57 Speaker 2: the Lord spoke to the Pharaoh and said, you know what,

3:01 Speaker 2: you need to take this guy like, I mean, how

3:03 Speaker 2: did this pharaoh, a heathen king, recognize that the Lord's

3:07 Speaker 2: spirit was upon Joseph. How did he believe in this

3:11 Speaker 2: convict from the prison to give him this position, to

3:16 Speaker 2: make him in charge of the entire kingdom. This cannot

3:19 Speaker 2: happen by itself. That's the favor of God. And not

3:22 Speaker 2: only that this position did not even exist before, but

3:26 Speaker 2: It was created on the spot just for Joseph. I

3:30 Speaker 2: don't know who needs to hear this word. I know

3:31 Speaker 2: there's so much happening with regard to people losing their jobs,

3:35 Speaker 2: and you may be in a position where maybe you're

3:37 Speaker 2: praying for a job, maybe you lost your job, or

3:40 Speaker 2: maybe you're praying for your business to grow, or maybe

3:43 Speaker 2: you are stagnant in your job, and you're saying, you

3:46 Speaker 2: know what, I know I need to make a move

3:47 Speaker 2: because I know that things are not going good in

3:51 Speaker 2: the current organization. But things are just not opening for me.

3:54 Speaker 2: Or you may be in a position maybe not a

3:56 Speaker 2: job scenario at all. Maybe you're praying for a relationship

3:59 Speaker 2: or a live partner, maybe you're praying for a new venture,

4:02 Speaker 2: and you're praying for a new platform, and you're saying,

4:05 Speaker 2: this does not even exist right now. This kind of

4:07 Speaker 2: a person does not even exists right now. This kind

4:10 Speaker 2: of an opportunity does not even exist right now. Can

4:13 Speaker 2: I tell you something. God can open a position just

4:16 Speaker 2: for you. God can open a client, or you know,

4:20 Speaker 2: great the conducer environment to bring in the right person

4:23 Speaker 2: into your life. You wouldn't be like, oh my gosh,

4:26 Speaker 2: this person was just made just for me. This opportunity

4:30 Speaker 2: was created just for me. God can enable you to

4:33 Speaker 2: do that. I want you to believe it. It may not

4:36 Speaker 2: happen overnight. It did not happen overnight. You know, some

4:39 Speaker 2: people say Joseph was in the prison for over ten years.

4:41 Speaker 2: We do not know the exact time how long he

4:44 Speaker 2: spent in the prison, but we know that for thirteen

4:46 Speaker 2: years his life was going in the wrong direction, right

4:49 Speaker 2: from the time when he was seventeen, when he was

4:53 Speaker 2: sold as a slave after being picked up from the pit,

4:57 Speaker 2: and by the time he took the position in the

5:00 Speaker 2: palace he was thirty, So thirteen years everything was bad.

5:04 Speaker 2: You may have to go through seasons which look terribly

5:08 Speaker 2: bad and wrong, and people think like, man, this guy's

5:11 Speaker 2: life is doomed. This girl's life has no meaning in it.

5:14 Speaker 2: That's how your life may look like. But I want

5:16 Speaker 2: you to believe that the favor of God can restore,

5:19 Speaker 2: not only restore in a way. Like Joseph, you know

5:22 Speaker 2: what got freedom, or just that he got promoted, or

5:26 Speaker 2: you know what, he got complete restoration. Like when he

5:30 Speaker 2: came out of prison, not only did he get a position,

5:33 Speaker 2: he got a position that was a second ex position

5:36 Speaker 2: in the whole kingdom when a time when the kingdom

5:39 Speaker 2: was the most populination in the world of that time.

5:42 Speaker 2: And he got married, he had kids, his family got restoration.

5:46 Speaker 2: All of this happened in his life. See, I want

5:50 Speaker 2: you to understand. God can create a position. God can

5:54 Speaker 2: create the conducerve environment. God can bring in the right people,

5:59 Speaker 2: the right person, the right opportunity, the right things into

6:02 Speaker 2: your life when you least expect. And that is the

6:06 Speaker 2: thing that the favor of God can do. Today I

6:09 Speaker 2: wanted to believe in it. See, when I was praying

6:12 Speaker 2: about the job transition, I stood my ground and I said,

6:15 Speaker 2: you know what, I need a job that has a

6:18 Speaker 2: limit of flexibility. And you know that's not show my

6:22 Speaker 2: god given calling, the ministry and all of that. You know,

6:25 Speaker 2: people said, it's just not possible. I mean, the situation

6:28 Speaker 2: is bad. There's the environment, the conditions right now are

6:32 Speaker 2: not conducive. It's just not going to happen. It's just

6:35 Speaker 2: not possible. But you know what, I stood my ground.

6:37 Speaker 2: I said, even if it takes more time of waiting,

6:40 Speaker 2: it's still worth it because I know that when you

6:43 Speaker 2: rate upon the law, the Lord will open a door.

6:46 Speaker 2: Just for you. The Lord will open an opportunity that

6:49 Speaker 2: would be so apt for your calling, just like it

6:54 Speaker 2: happened just for Joseph. This position was created just for Joseph.

6:58 Speaker 2: You know when I look at how this particular organization

7:01 Speaker 2: opened up and I got this opportunity, you know the way.

7:04 Speaker 2: You know, somebody else was in that position and they

7:08 Speaker 2: had to move because of certain reasons, and then somebody

7:10 Speaker 2: else came in and filled up, and there was something

7:13 Speaker 2: that happened that caused this person to leave in a

7:15 Speaker 2: short span, and that is what enabled me to get

7:18 Speaker 2: that opportunity. Like I was, I was thinking, there were

7:21 Speaker 2: so many things that were trying to get this opportunity,

7:24 Speaker 2: but you know what it was like, you know, like

7:27 Speaker 2: what is meant for you will be yours in Jesus' name,

7:31 Speaker 2: Because when God ordains an opportunity for you, when God

7:34 Speaker 2: decides to open a door for you, when God decides

7:36 Speaker 2: to prepare a position just for you, no one else

7:40 Speaker 2: can take that position. No one else can take that opportunity.

7:43 Speaker 2: And today I wanted to walk with that awareness because

7:46 Speaker 2: God is going to open doors no one can shut.

7:50 Speaker 2: And then that's the challenge. I want you to believe

7:52 Speaker 2: and understand that God is going to prepare positions for you.

7:56 Speaker 2: God is going to prepare people for you. God is

7:58 Speaker 2: going to prepare opportunity piece just for you. If would
